Is the David "Shuster slant" a set up?

The name of the Shuster's segment is "Hypocrisy Watch."

MRC does a simple count, based solely upon the political/party affiliation of the lucky recipients of the hypocrite label.

The tally: 8 1/2 : 1
34 Conservatives/Republicans
4 Liberals/Democrats

Shuster's explanazation for this lop-sided ratio? Shuster says the group "is funded and run by die-hard conservatives with a clear partisan agenda" and that his work on the now-defunct program "1600 Pennsylvania Avenue" "was hard hitting on both parties."

So the problem, it seems, is who paid for the calculator, not the accuracy of the math.

Watch for the return of "Hypocrisy Watch" so you can watch "Hypocrisy Watch" hypocrisy in action.

MSNBC insiders are spreading rumors that Keith Olbermann's being overlooked string of consecutive episodes of "Hypocrisy Watch" could be coming to an end on the next episode of "Hypocrisy Watch."

Don't know about anyone else, but I'd pay money to watch that "Hypocrisy Watch" just to watch that hypocrite Shuster nail Olbermann, THE WORST HYPOCRITE IN THE WORLD!!!

Re: Shuster

Typical Howard Kurtz way to handle a charge against a reporter of being partisan towards the left.

Kurtz cites the claim and cites the reporter's response without comment.

Later when some credibility is given to the charge via other reputable sources (an example being the cry from journalists over Matthews and Olbermann being "anchors" of MSNBC's presidential campaign coverage), THEN Kurtz claims to have addressed the issue 'way back when', when HE is questioned about not having investigated the mounting charges.

It looks like the Fox Haters are slobbering in their dog food again.

Here's their latest useless diatribe.

FOX News Buries Obama Role In Pirate Rescue.

If you read the article posted under this headline you will notice that the "writer" seems somewhat disturbed by the fact that FoxNews.com didn't place Obama's role in the pirate rescue in a more prominent location in their story.

Well, isn't that just too freaking bad.

BIg Momma notes that the mission had been personally approved by President Obama. DUHHHH!!!! Ya think??!?

This is all they have. The placement of part of a story. My guess uis they wanted top headlines to read something like this......

"Obama Saves the Day. Rescues Ship's Captain Singled Handedly"

They have become desperate now.

Yeah, there are several problems with that article, a typical Brodsky special. But I'm not going to show my cards just yet.

I will shortly be off line for a few hours. Don't know right now exactly when I will be back. So be patient with comment moderation. I will attend to it as soon as I can.

Good twist on having it be the guest...

SHAKIR: Directed by corporate lobbyists and corporate money.

HOENIG: That’s not true! Why do you keep saying that? Am I directed by lobbyists, Faiz? Am I paid by lobbyists? You don’t know what the hell you’re talking about!

Faiz, you really should stay out of the kitchen. How's that egg?
