Bravo, Andrea Tantaros, today on "Fox News Watch," for agreeing that conservatives and Republicans should not go after Judge Sotomayor. It's like what Dick Morris said Wednesday night on "The O'Reilly Factor": "She's gonna get confirmed; get out of the way of the truck [Democratic majority in the Senate]." But boo to Andrew Breitbart and Greg Gutfeld on "Red Eye" last night for taking the bait. Oh, it's "political correctness run amok," people that rightly (in their view) go after this woman have "b***s." I had to delete "Red Eye" from my DVR after that; one topic in to the first block of the show. It's too bad. Juliet Huddy was on and so was Ron Geraci. And I love Pinch (not in that way).
I know this was partially off-topic, but I had to get it off my mind.

Let me elaborate: Andrea said not to go after the Judge except on "the real credentials of being a judge." Exactly; on policy, not otherwise. Enough focusing on that one line at Berkeley eight years ago. I'm not defending the Judge; I just don't want the Republican Party to marginalize itself forever.

fair & balanced Sen. Leahy is going to head up the hearings in the Senate. I am sure he agrees with yoiu that we don't want the Republican Party to marginalize itself forever in these hearings. We should just agree to take a pass on this nomination even though BHO was a leader in the judge Alito filibuster movement in the Senate. Sorry Mike, don't buy your take one bit.

It's times like this that I hate being a moderate. We get demonized more than the left. We're wimps, we're puny. And no, don't lump me in with the moderates that get their word out everywhere but FNC. You know which ones I'm talking about.

It wasn't enough that I deleted "Red Eye." I ended up deleting "Huckabee," too. So much debate and things I disagree with and jumping in when the host isn't finished asking the question and saying the host "dish[es] it out" and "political correctness run amok." I'm through watching that stuff until Monday at 8PM. For now, it's sports and Food Network.

While MSNBC spends most of its airtime talking about Fox, BOR, and now Rush, it's Fox that spends its time talking about the news.

Just heard that Dr. Tiller (the Killer) was shot earlier today. Tiller is a well-known provider of late term abortions, who has been a subject of numerous stories on The Factor.

Chickaboomer is on to something here.

I would move Larry to 8pm.

I would try to get Brian Lamb, Drew Carey, Clive Anderson, Andy Levy. Somebody in the John Charles Daily mode. to host

A panel of three or four. (some regulars, some rotate)

Audience, plus the internet vote. Also! Maybe lock 5 libs and 5 conservatives in a room and do a Frank Luntz type deal with those twisty boxes.

"National fun on live TV . . . that's the key!

Pres. Reagan could sell his points and make you laugh, so if Ron could do it.

And you just know CNN will pull a stunt, so you would have scandal.

This could work.

What I want to see on the cable news networks an examination of the judge's rulings, connections with LaRaza & whether or not she thinks legislating from the bench is a proper role for a supreme court justice. She is going to be confirmed, they have the votes, but we on the other side at least want the questions put forward and answered.

I agree, guys. Keith will definitely blame BOR for this tomorrow night. At the very least, he'll be Worst with "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor" faded out and theatrical indignation, faux outrage, and faux sadness used. And yes, it'll end with "for the good of humanity...quit!, Bill O'Reilly, today's Worst Person in the World."

BECK: I don't like the charges of, "Oh, you're a racist. They're a racist." Very few people are racist.

There are racists and they're bad people. And -- but it's -- most Americans are good, just decent people, and I hate the charges and cries of racism. But when I hear this -- I mean, gee. She sure sounds like a racist here.

But now, "The Factor" has evidence that indicates Tiller killed late-term fetuses by citing "temporary depression" on the part of the mother. That was the reason Tiller performed scores, perhaps thousands of late-term abortions.

In the state of Kansas, there is a doctor, George Tiller, who will execute babies for $5,000 if the mother is depressed.

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,227658,00.html

Come on then. Kick your apology machine into high gear. Explain to the world how, first, this is true in spite of the fact that Dr Tiller was not convicted by a jury. And then explain how talking about a doctor who "executes babies" does not goad people to take violent action.

Well, I'm not sure what that's supposed to prove but if that "goaded" someone into action, they had to be moving in slow motion, since that's from over two years ago! That's quite a logical leap: a commentary aired in 2006 caused a shooting in 2009. But you are free to believe it if it satisfies your need.

Would you like some more recent material? I'm assuming that you, and your people watch O'Reilly and are already aware, so I just cited just one example. So, do you want more?

So it's over 2 years old. Was it an inflammatory statement 2 years ago? Or do you think it was just fine to say that Dr Tiller "executes babies", and you support the speaker?

"That's quite a logical leap: a commentary aired in 2006 caused a shooting in 2009."

Ah, yes. There is impossible to prove an rhetoric "caused" a murder. It is also impossible to prove that rhetoric contributed to a murder. Though it would be interesting to see what a civil jury would think?

It was be astounding if a civil jury ever heard the case. Even the most rudimentary understanding of the law makes that notion preposterous on its face.

Yes, you are probably right, but it would still be interesting what a jury would conclude.

So interesting that the same people who wished for BOR to be raped and murdered, are angry for BOR to call for anyone to be prosecuted.

Of course not all of them wished for that. It was the work of one person, (one very stupid person), but the post resided there for quite some time. NO ONE THERE spoke up about it. To them, it seemed like a reasonable thought.

notveryhow, it's not "rhetoric" to say that Tiller "executed babies", it's a fact, in my book.

It may be legal execution, in the way that capital punishment is legal, but it's state sanction execution, nontheless.

What sort of pretty term would you like supplied for the process of terminating the life of the same sort of infants who populate neonatal units?

Is that justification for murdering a doctor who unfortunately was acting legally. Hell no. But it's reasonable to assume that if this man's business could dismay and horrify decent people (I'm sure you'll admit there are good people who are pro-life), it could also dismay and enrage warped people too.

That risk is NOT reason enough for squelching the speech of people who are describing this practice exactly as they see it-- execution. And describing it in such terms because they wish people to take a good hard look at procedure that might not be legal if it were up to legislatures instead of courts.

Dr Tiller chose to perform a controversial medical prodecure fully aware of the horror it instills in a large number of the population, legal procedure or not. He was more than aware of the risk.

It's a bit much to ask those people his practices horrifed to pull their "rhetorical" punches or else be blamed and accused when a bloody man falls into the hands of another bloody man.

With that logic any inflammatory political rhetoric or strong denounciations of perceived wrongs would be tantamount to abetting violence.

Rap music contributes to violence because in many cases, it directly champions and glories violence.
