Hasn't Keith Olbermann been advertising himself as a well informed and connected journalist these last several years?
Either he is telling the truth that he does not know who Rothenberg is (pathetic) or he is responding in his usual feculent way, as in the past, to someone's criticism.

BOR has almost as many viewers as Katie Couric. Forever it seemed the ratings for the traditional network news broadcasts were far far ahead of cable.
Bill O is changing that.
Congrats to him and all of the hosts at FNC for their fantastic ratings.

Three weeks ago, I said left a comment in Johnny's weekend thread in response to one of the posted links ("Is Bill O'Reilly a paper tiger?"). It was a column by Mike Shields at MediaWeek. Shields disagreed with the reason some newspapers are ending publication. Assuming Shields was most likely to appear on "Countdown" for his view, I wrote: "Mike Shields, senior editor at Mediaweek, pleasure having you on, sir."
Three weeks later, tonight, Shields showed up on..."The O'Reilly Factor" to debate Bill. So, I apologize for my pessimistic assumption.
