I say he'll work on a political campaign. I don't think he'll be running himself... but somewhere in a movement, or on a team of some sort.

Re: "Video: Weird Prejean moment": Just when I thought Carrie Prejean had redeemed herself, this happened. The person that threatens to walk off or does walk off is always perceived to be the loser because it indicates that they have something to hide. And since it's Carrie Prejean, everyone that hates her now (Keith Olbermann) has more fodder to attack her. Way to go. I mean, why didn't she just say "I'm not talking to you because you don't have an appointment" (Rep. Alan Grayson; paraphrase) or "I'm not gonna talk to you until you act like a professional" (Judge John Torrence; paraphrase) or deliver a Rep. Barney Frank-style arrogant retort while she was at it?

FBN's "Happy Hour" show is just dreadful.
Someone needs to tell the hosts that only geeks must work so laboriously at conveying the message that they're young and hip.

I thought the Mediaite piece on Prejean summed things up precisely.
It was a good point to say that rather than being silenced for her views, she's been highlighted. And since she is obviously a young unsophisticated girl, she's being what she is -- a young and unsophisticated girl, who seems to also be the "beneficiary" of bad advice and guidance.
Anyone who saw her on Fox and Friends where she seemed rather churlish to hosts who were bending over backwards to give her a good time and to make her look good, knows too that she's also a brat.
Olbermann and company have highlighted her in order to knock her down and she's blithely following along with that plan. She's written a book and is doing talk shows, so she's fair game for criticism now.
Let Olbermann at her. Sooner or later even his crowd is going to start wondering why, with all the things in world that there are to be concerned about, snarking on pariahs for the lefty crowd is truly all he's about.
All that political stuff? Just window dressing to the only thing that REALLY matters to him. THAT "thing" is a sense of his own elitism.
It's all Olbermann really cares about.

It's more than dumb to suggest that Dobbs replace Geraldo. It's intentionally incendiary.
I do hope that Dobbs does go to FBN and helps the channel kick CNBC butt.
Now that would be sweet.

Rachel was wrong when she claimed that she also hosted a radio talk show. Not mentioned in R EQ article is that Rachel was also wrong with the "no democrat for a century" nonsense.
Two falsehoods in under a minute. No surprise its MSNBC.

Let's count the lies from Prissy's raging, angry screed today.
Bill OReilly Provides Platform For Planned Parenthood Slander
Reported by Priscilla - Thu 1:11 PM
Bill OReilly is a man of means (and a mean man) who has never and will never know the anguish of an unplanned pregnancy. Yet, he is part of the crusade (or is it jihad) to take away a womans right to a safe, legal abortion. He even received a reward, in the form of an award, from a family values group for his televised attacks on Planned Parenthood and Dr. Tiller who was killed by a man inspired by the kind of vitriolic rhetoric which OReilly engaged in. Whether its Lila Rose and her sting operation against Planned Parenthood or some woman who claimed that she was treated badly by Dr. Tiller, Bill is willing to provide a supportive response. His confrontational response to voices for choice is far less warm. (here and here ) Last night, he interviewed a woman whose road to Damascus conversion from a local Planned Parenthood director to an anti-choice zealot is the cause for hosannas from the anti choice movement. While Bill did seem slightly more phlegmatic and more fair and balanced than usual, he managed to work into the basic anti-choice theme of the interview some words and phrases that, while spoken in a modulated voice, were a loud and clear shout out to the anti-choice lobby.
#1 Let's look at "unplanned" pregnancy idea her. Of course it's unplanned because 2 morons decided to have sex without worrying about the consequences. ANd don't give me this bit about a "mistake". One cannot get pregnant by mistake. There is an act involved in getting pregnant.
#2. No one, I'll say it again, NO ONE is responsible for the murder of Doctor Tiller except the person who did the shooting. This little tact is merely am excuse by Miss Priss to attack Bill O'Reilly.
#3 Bill O'Reilly has NEVER said that he wants to take away a woman's choice to have an abortion.
That is just 3 of the lies. There are probably more but I won't bore you.
The rest of Priscilla's screed was meely an attack on 2 people who happen to disagree with her side of the issue.
The left always uses that same tactic to attack and smear peopel with whom they disagree. They are not a very logical bunch.

You disagree with Geraldo? Don't watch.
Yes he is full of himself but he has been damn good at what he does for many years.

Just heard from Bret Baier that the NY 23 vote has not yet been certified and the result is still open.
It seems that there were some errors in the earlier counting that prompted Hoffmann to concede. The spread with the correction is only 3,000 votes and there are over 10,000 uncounted absentee ballots.
Can you imagine what a come from behind last minute win by Hoffmann will generate?

Come on, Black, that was kind of a harsh way to phrase your reply.
Lynn simply expressed her dislike of him, a sentiment that I sometimes share myself, and a hope that he would be replaced by Dobbs, about whom I couldn't care less.

That would be great Grammie, but I can only imagine that many of those absentee ballots were sent in before scozo whatzername quit the race. Its an uphill battle for Hoffman to win the same number of absentee ballots as Owens plus 3001. A real long shot, but it sure would be sweet!

Great comment B -
If Ellen and the Hounds now have a standard that the only people who can comment on abortion are not like BOR who "never and will never know the anguish of an unplanned pregnancy". Unless Ellen has known or will know the anguish of an unplanned pregnancy, then her own standard means she should delete her own post. Any male poster must not be allowed to comment on abortion at NH.
I saw the segment last night. Ellen can call it slander but we know her analysis is usually from the deranged point of view. Did the former PP director say anything that was a lie? I haven't heard that claim yet.

Worst Geraldo moment on tv:
On Geraldo's MSNBC show's coverage of the Lewinsky scandal on the eve of Monica testifying to a grand jury.
"Renaldo" (as Al Haig once referred to him) went into a spiel about how Lewinsky told Tripp that she gave Pres. Clinton neckties and that Clinton would wear them at times as a message to her.
On the show, Geraldo appeared in what he said was a duplicate of one of the ties that Monica had given the prez, and he preceded to wave the tie at the camera.
Renaldo explained that this was a sign to Lewinsky to "hang tough"...and to... (he intimated in so many words)... keep her mouth shut.
During the show, Geraldo waved his tie at the end of EVERY segment before the commercial break, and at the end of the show.
What a stupid putz.

Well, well. It looks like the Hounds have been called out and they don't like it very much.
Someone named Echo has posted the following on their Forum and as usual the mutts come out swinging(not all of them) to attack the guy.
Par for the course over their. But it sure is sweet to watch.

I think you're right though, Blackflon, in that Geraldo can be an excellent reporter. At least when he doesn't showboat.
He has the awards to prove it.
