Yeah, I am sorry that FNC is doing this. I enjoyed Glenn Beck on THE RIGHT SCOOP. I think that FNC should find a way to embrace the enternet (like put it's shows on Hulu with paid advertising) and not fight it.

Robinson said that maybe Olbermann will grasp the concept of shame.
Since he's using his ill father to push a political agenda, I doubt he even knows what shame is all about.

Is KO really MSNBC PR department? Anytime someone says something about MSNBC, KO flies off the handle and starts leaving goofy KOS posts about it! Is this how he uses his time "with" his father?

FYI, the 'recent comments' widget in the sidebar is not working. It appears to be a system-wide outage courtesy of haloscan's successors, Echo. Several people have reported it so I hope that it will be back in operation in the not too distant future. Maybe next Sunday A.D.

In other words, yes, and I should take my videos of FNC promos from two years ago, an intern doing the weather on "Fox & Friends" on her last day, the authors of "Sarah From Alaska" on "The O'Reilly Factor," Bill talking about the Westbury Bold & Fresh show, and highlights from the theater simulcast all down now?

I wouldn't do that unilaterally. I thought about downloading all the J$P youtube videos to save them on my hard drive should the account get closed. But when I went to look and see how that would be done, I realized I had over 500 of them! Just don't have the time to do that.
If you have just a handful, I'd download them and save them on your own drive, but leave them on youtube.

Too late. I removed the promos and the intern doing the weather. All that remains on my account from FNC is the authors. The other videos are O'Reilly on "The Late Show" in October '08. The Bold & Fresh Tour videos were uploaded through WordPress.

Lets hope all bloggers group together and fight FNC over blocking sites embedding their clips.
Thankfully MSNBC are an enlightened company...Unfortunately it appears FNC are still in the stone age.

if MSNBC do the same...I doubt it....but if they do....then simply go to their site and watch whole shows there. Much easier than skipping around youtube looking for FNC shows.

Gosh, Haggis! They've made it hard for you to skip around blueblogs in search of FNC clips so you can pretend to have skipped around Youtube and watched an FNC show...

I found this little tidbit from our poorly educated friend.(You know who you are)
For anyone that doesn't know who Johnny Dollar (I don't know why any grown man would want to be called Johnny) is. He used to be a well known troll at the NewsHounds.
I wonder if the big dope has ever heard of Johnny Carson?
It's true, you really can't fix stupid.

I.M. Right
Well he can't talk to Carson about it, but he could ask Johnny Bench why a grown man would want to be called Johnny. There was also the great (and I do mean GREAT) Johnny Cash, Johnny Unitas, Haggis' favorite Johnny Mathis, and someone who makes a hundred movies a year - Johnny Depp.
Doesn't matter to me, but there may be some out there who would ask, why would any grown man want to be known as "John"? Afterall, there are two things associated with "John", hookers and toilets.
Whoever the poorly educated friend is, he should be told that the owner of this site didn't adopt the name "Johnny", he adopted the name "Johnny Dollar". Maybe the PEF will someday figure out why.

There should be no confusion C as there may be plenty of John T's out there, there are no grown men named John T.

It is really hilarious to see little Johnny Troll call someone else a troll. There may be no bigger troll on the internet than him. He speaks of others doing nothing but call names, and he is too dimwitted to realize that the person he is describing is himself.
Littlejohnny troll has never had a thought in his head. All he can do is sit around and slobber all over himself and make faces (like a moneky). Forget fixing stupid. littlejohnny troll would need to improve immensely before he would even reach the level of stupid.

I'm sure he and his little band of boys are yucking it up as we speak.

Oellenbermann v Jesse "The Loon" Ventura. HMMM, now why does Keithy always hide behind a screen to talk tough? Why is it NO one EVER see's him on the street since Mister Cowhide isn't bright enough to drive or get on a subway train because he's just so tall? I have a feeling Coward Cowhide may never show his 9 chin face again on MSWHO. When you go to ticking someone CRAZIER and MORE EVIL then YOU, a sane person would conclude that Oellenbermann is OOOUUUTTT OF HEEERRREEEEE. Sorry have to speak BaseBall Boy's language once in-a-while.

Okay, I'm infiltrating your site again . . . hope to be made as welcome as last time I was here (and I'm not being snide). But I can't help but notice tonight -- many of you criticized News Hounds for allowing name-calling and what-not, but in this comment block alone I've seen quite a bit of what you criticize, and in another comment thread I saw the same thing. I'm not trying to start a war, but rather want to point out that EVERYBODY on EVERY SITE should try to be civilized and at least marginally grown-up. Debating issues -- or, in this case, media bias -- is great, I'm all in, but come on . . . I'd like to see those of you who post comments that name-call at least accept responsibility there, and recognize that you're not exactly taking the high road. Julie/News Hounds

The point you make is a fair one as far as it goes. But considering what some people have written, and continue to write, about the commenters here, what they get in return is pretty tame. For the record, we do not permit name calling between commenters here. Messages will be edited or deleted if I catch it, and if you are a serial offender you will spend some time on Exile Island. I know from personal experience, as do many others here, that at NH such invective is tossed at fellow commenters like confetti in a parade. Even if it wasn't unspeakably vile, I wouldn't reprint here some of the things said to me before Ellen decided that I shouldn't be allowed to comment at NH because I have my own blog. (Yes, I realize that reason makes no sense, but there it is.)
However, snarky name-calling at people who don't comment here, while maybe not polite or even intelligent, is not a violation of the rules. I'm pretty sure there aren't many sites that forbid commenters from attacking or even name-calling on people who aren't even part of the conversation. I guess you could call immunity from such barbs an extra bonus of being a responsible, rule-observing commenter here.

I have no idea what "avatar" is, but I have no problem with my picture being attached to my post. After all, unless you swap out pictures on your site someday (Ellen for me, for example), that's probably the only way I'll get mine up. So about this avatar . . . I assume you can tell me how.

I'm the wrong guy to ask. I had a hard time doing it myself and just sort of stumbled onto the right combination of things to make it work. About all I remember is that you click on the silhouette that appears next to your name when you are making a comment. Then a list of things comes down. Somewhere in there is a way to attach your picture as an avatar. I don't remember how I did it but maybe one of our more expert users can talk you thru it. The #@!%&@ 'recent comments' widget is broken so comment visibility is lessened until Echo gets it back and running. But I hope someone in the know spots your request and can make it happen.

Well, Johnny, I appreciate your response, but let me clarify: I wasn't talking about the "rules," I was talking about civility, and maturity. In case I wasn't clear, I was talking about disagreeing with the message without defiling the messenger. Let me be straight here -- I agree that the comments here are relatively tame (except for Blackflon's in a different thread -- thought the "bimbo" and "bitch" was unnecessary), but it wasn't the severity of the name-calling I was noting, but the fact of it. My point is that whether in greater or lesser degrees, the pot seems to be meeting the kettle.

To a greater or lesser degree the pot will ALWAYS meet the kettle. It's the degrees that make the difference, and they make all the difference in the world.
I don't think my pointing out a Rostenkowsky to your having evoked Nixon would go uncommented upon by you. Any subsequent point I made that essentially waved the fact that they were not equally bad, but instead were both bad men, would be found specious.
That our appellations and repartee is tame in comparison is not -- beside the point-- it is THE point. And that is that we are NOT talking about the normal flame or sarcasm in the case of JOhn T and company. We're talking about cesspool so extraordinarily putrid that it makes one wonder how it was tolerated for so long and by so many News Hounders.
