Evening all.

Bill O'reilly 2007:
"But do you understand what the New York Times wants, and the far-left want? They want to break down the white, Christian, male power structure....they want to bring in millions of foreign nationals to basically break down the structure that we have."

I can only come up with one conclusion as to what Bill was meaning/wanted when he made the statement above.
But I'm sure the fine folk here will be able to tell me what Bill actually meant by this statement.

FBN now broadcasting on Dish Network channel 206. Pretty soon, CNBC will be broadcasting reruns of those Lockup reruns.

I'll have to get the optimal coordinates to pick up FBN with my electric dish...At the moment I'm only picking up CNBC World and Court TV...But I'll get it....Nothing I like better than a bit of one sided business news. CNBC Europe is top notch and their info has made me a few quid over the years.

Olbermann's first run yesterday lost to BORs rerun in both the demo and the overall. Well, I guess most people are getting sick of patronizing that left wing loon whose popularity seems to be dropping faster than Obama cabinet nominations.

CNBC. Real business giants there. I think about everyone who followed Jim Cramer's advice that Bear Stearns was "just fine" so they should go and invest in it, about two days before Bear Stearns collapsed.

With all due respect Ashley, as a person like you who pushes ratings at us, compare CNBC numbers to Fox Business. It's not even close.

Well, consider that FNC is still relatively new and not on nearly as many of the cable/satelllite networks as is CNBC, FNC is doing just fine!! CNBC? Not for much longer. But regardless Baba, exactly what are those numbers you cite?

Why would you say CNBC ratings will not be good much longer, will Fox Business do what Fox News does stroll out lots of blondes in mini skirts to get ratings.

The most consistently high-rated shows on FNC are The Fox Report (Shep), O'Reilly, Hannity, and Special Report (Baier). If Fox needs blondes in miniskirts to get ratings, why are these programs on top?

Baba - thanks for the link, though dated. When you wrote "It's not even close" I didn't realize that you didn't have any current info.

But I'm sure that even today the ratings are lopsided, as is the coverage available to both. As FBN continues to grow and is made available to more viewers, I'm positive the ratings will soon exceed that of its competitor, just as FNC did with CNN and MSNBC.

Fox Business Network has been added to the DISH network. The deal ups FBN’s total distribution to nearly 50 million homes.

Where's those numbers, baba?

CNBC is available to 90 million homes and only average 284,000 viewers during the day and 191,000 primetime. FBN is available in only a little better than half of CNBC and most added recently.

Apparently you haven't watched FBN. It's brunettes.

I'm surprised that no one has responded to Haggis's 3:14. I watched that show when Bill mentioned the white Christian male power structure, and I watched last night when Bill played everything BUT that video when talking about the NYT demonizing him as a racist.

I would have been much more impressed if O'Reilly addressed that quote rather than skirted it like he did. Then again, I kind of like the white Christian male power structure since I am a white Christian male, just like a Tibetan Buddhist female would like to see a Tibetan Buddhist female power structure upheld.

Oh crap. I'm watching The Factor on DVR an hour behind, and lo and behold he explained his white Christian male power structure statement. I spoke a few minutes too soon.

He probably read your comment, Haggis!

Well OS once again you are wrong I like some of Fox News Programming, starting with Americas Newsroom, The Live Desk, and I think Shep and Brett Baier are two of Fox News best. I do have a total dislike for Hannity and sometime I find the Friends a little to much to take, but all it would take for me is it put Alysyn Camerota there, And I would watch Fox News most of the time I tune Into cable news.
I watch Maddow and sometimes Olbermann on MSNBC, but their weekend crap kind of turns me off, we are in economic trouble and they are showing either prison block or internet predators, kind of sad really.

Ashley I love blondes that is why I made the comment, I used to watch Courtney Friel when she did the World Poker Tour and I even met her in Vegas in 2006, she was the reason I started watching Fox News as much as I do now. Then I started watching the other programming.

Also I was not aware the FBN was put on Dish Network, so that is a mistake on my part, I think their ratings will go up, I am not sure if they can catch CNBC, but the more CNBC show Cramer the less I do watch, Erin Burnett all the way.
