New FNC Promo: An Answer to White House Attacks?

J$P Video! The White House says FNC is "not news", but Fox begs to differ:

Exactly how did you arrive at the conclusion that Johnny presented the new FNC promo as proof of anything, much less as proof that the White House is wrong.

He labeled it "J$P Video! The White House says FNC is "not news", but Fox begs to differ:", which is completely accurate, Fox does disagree with the White House. It is there for any who are interested to watch it and draw their own conclusion.

The only "concrete" proof offered by Dunn, that the John Ensign story was not covered at all on FNC, was completely wrong so where is your proof to refute FNC?

Yes, bostonbabe, it does make a good argument showing snipets of Fox News Channel JOURNALISTS covering NEWS to refute the Obama administation's argument that FNC is not a news organization.....Actually, this little clip clearly shows FNC covers stories of natural disasters, wars, etc. just like the rest of the media and deserves protection under our nation's constitution as well as respect....not cynical, whiny, barbs from the powerful elite ruling class.

No wonder FNC is the #1 rated cabler....sometimes getting numbers of viewers in excess of the rest, combined.

Three guesses on the identity of bostonbabe. (Kind of unfair because I saw the two posts that didn't make it--personal attacks on posters here--so I have more evidence!)

BTW...there was one picture of President Obama in the montage.....

Now I know it is less than some are used to but it still does not mean FNC is, "not a new organization".....

Oh, and of course, unlike NBC (an administration fav), FNC does not sell Obama bobbleheads or t-shirts....

Cee, that's all the proof that Babe needs.

How could anyone take FNC seriously when their competitors such as NBC light the way with their hard news impartial merchandising.

The ad obviously showcases FNC's hard news coverage. Not a snippet from the 'Factor' or 'Beck' or 'Hannity', no F&F.
The ad says " We are a news channel!"
The Fox haters and the current Administration, presumably, would have you believe Fox News is wall to wall ideology and opinion.
Is this ad a shot directed at the White House? I say no. I believe the Administration knows perfectly well that FNC offers a good deal of square news coverage.
It's my opinion that because Glenn Beck has become so popular at FNC, dismissing the channel as a non-news organization is more an option than ever before.
FNC = Glenn Beck, Glen Beck = FNC.

Fox is a news channel, yes, when they're running what was shown on the video. However, they're not a 24/7 news channel, and that needs to be emphasized.

FacePalm, maybe YOU need to be reminded of how EVERY cable news network operates, but the vast majority of J$P readers do not. Just like EVERY newspaper in this country, every local newscast & every cable news network there is the "News" section and then there is the editorial/opinion sections. Are you saying that FoxNews is unique to cable news by having News programming during the day and them opinion/commentary programming during prime time? Then what do you call MSNBC's prime time lineup? I argue that MSNBC starts its commentary/opinion a little early, David Shuster can only be described as an extreme partisian.

My favorite part of that video was where Megyn said "The best resources from top to bottom". She's right about that!

Re: my identity: Wrong, Chimera. Ha. And Dollar, you have NOOOOOO idea either. The posts that didn't make it provided no "evidence" whatsoever. Same IP. Same sig. You bluff, boy. All you know is the same thing my sig tells you.

Re: the ad, FacePalm has it right.

Fox News markets itself as a 24/7 NEWS channel, not a "news and opinion" channel. And in case you hadn't noticed, the opinion programs almost always include falsehoods presented as facts, yet these falsehoods are seldom, if ever, prefaced with "in my opinion".

"The best resources from top top bottom" is right. Especially the bottom part, which they scrape every time Beck or Hannity are aired.

I love the commenters on this site who defend Fox by going, "Oh, but look what MSNBC does". Who said anything about MSNBC? Isn't the topic Fox? The scents of red herring and bovine scat hang heavy in the air around this site. Phooooo-eeeee!

The only real journalist on that station is Shep Smith, who even calls BS on Fox bias when he sees it. He's the only one with any integrity. The rest of them are GOP shills and media ho's.

bostonbabe, you do yourself a disservice. You forget to mention the "porch negroes" at FNC. There'll be no pat on the head for you!

Observer Dan, whatever you mean about "porch negroes", it has nothing to do with my opinion about Fox. More red herrings.
