If you don't trust me on that, just nonchalantly ask your wife if she prefers handwritten notes, roses, or expensive jewelry.

You don't have to get back with me on that...  I'm absolutely sure I know her answer.

I hope this means that you visit here more often, but are you sure you want to let those idiots drive you off a board where you are the most intelligent and analytical poster (which is why they want you gone)?

Mediaite is leftwardly tilted via the people who write the blogs for Dan Abrams and YOU are the person who rips to shreds their memes, false information, and unverified "facts".

Do know, Sara, that driving you off via insults and couched threats or implied "inside" information about you, is what The Real Royal King specializes in.  He's is at THAT site in order to run off opposition.

This sort of internet commando is a coterie of imbeciles who couldn't get girl friends in high school or college.  They're acting out their "super hero" fantasies via these tactics.

That's not to say that they aren't dedicated ideologues excusing their hatred and lying by telling themselves how marvelous they are for wanting taxpayer funded health care. The irony that the insults they use toward others encompass the very sort of socioeconomic group that would benefit from nationalized health care, assuages them.

They are control-freak misanthropes at heart.

will Fox News use their (not scientific) online poll about "what is the tea party movement about" on any of their shows? If it had come out in favor of "small Govt...." instead of "fruitless mix of...." I'd say it would have appeared on every show, But as it came out by a large margin (77%) for the latter it'll be quickly consigned to the  recycle bin.

Mungo, we don't require commenters here to pre-register as we want to encourage participation. However we do have rules, and do try to enforce them as required. To do so we have to keep track of who is who.

Now out of four posts you made today, they have emanated from three different ISPs, in three different parts of the globe. Unless you are a master of time and space, you are apparently using subterfuge (internet proxies) to hide your identity and true location.

Please be advised that we frown on that sort of thing here, and if you wish to continue to contribute then I ask that you do what everybody else does:stop using proxies. You have your own IP address; you don't need to hijack someone else's. And unlike other sites, we never reveal an IP address without the owner's express permission.

Five minutes after O'Reilly commended Biden for answering a Palin question with class and not taking the low road, Hannity comes on and attacks Biden for the very same answer!!

Just wondering!
Is the small J$P avatar person the same as the large J$P avatar person?

If so I'd ask if you really saw the entire video of what Biden said! If you did, why the slam against Hannity?

O'Reilly and Hannity did not show the exact same segement of Biden's comments! If you had watched it, you would have known that! Or did you watch it, thus know it, and simply omit that fact? A longer segment is available on Breitbart Tv.

I watched the O'Reilly segment, and at the time, wondered why he showed such a short version that put Biden comments in such a good light, he omitted the part where Biden stated that [I'll paraphrase] "some of her comments are really out there" this coming from Biden!!!! Also stating that she does not represent a large segment of the people!!!!! It is this kind of dodging reality that is going to cost the dems at the polling booth.

I didn't slam Hannity. I merely pointed out the irony that his criticism of Biden came five minutes after O'Reilly's praise. You're right that the clips were edited differently, but I wasn't writing a thesis with my comment. I was just giving an off-the-cuff reaction to something that just aired.

Just wondering!
Ahhh, yea you did slam Hannity, "Hannity comes on and attacks Biden for the very same answer!!"

But you just admitted "You're right that the clips were edited differently, but I wasn't writing a thesis with my comment. I was just giving an off-the-cuff reaction to something that just aired."

So are you saying that when you're "just giving an off-the-cuff reaction to something that just aired." none of the following apply; accuracy, honesty, integrity, truth????

Perhaps you could use some sort of discalimer before those "off the cuff remarks" otherwise you come off the same as some of the posters that you take to task!

Something about rocks and glass houses comes to mind! Had I not seen all three clips I might have taken your comments differently!

I'll not be your fact checker, but when you commented on someting that I had just watched, and your comments didnt square with reality, I had to respond and hold your feet to the fire, just to keep your website to a higher standard than kos & huff!

Well that's what comments are for. To encourage discussion. Mission accomplished. I hope you continue to hold feet to the fire, including mine.

Sara, I'm sorry to hear that those contemptible wussy creeps have brought you to this point.

Just remember that their prime objective is to shut down any and all who don't march to their drummer.  They have no interest in presenting an opposition point for others to consider.  They are there solely to insult and sidetrack any conservations by constant blanket cries of racism, homophobia etc.

At any rate, good to see you here.

They're trying to turn mediaite into their own little Reddit island.

I think the problem with Mediaite isn't the commenters, but rather the predictable way they cover stuff.

If Olbermann has said something idiotic, then Glenn Beck's crying bout has to be invoked.

If it's a story about some irrationality at Kos, then we must mention Birthers, or Sara Palin, etc.

This sort of "balance" isn't offered in stories about conservative usual suspects...

Any story taking someone on the left to task is turned into mere window dressing for either baiting conservatives (as Tommy Christopher does) with the most illogical, below the belt rhetoric.

Here's an example of what I mean and it's my example ONLY rather than an actual comment---  'You'd be hard pressed to find a more juvenile comment than Olbermann's, but since anti-gay rhetoric from conservatives led to death of Matthew Shepard, it's not difficult to understand the passion" (again my example ONLY of the sort of mitigating "facts" that you see at Mediaite).

It's just too predictable.  They need to mix it up a bit with their writers.

I agree with you totally about that.

I must be getting old b/c even though it is so blatant that it irritates me I just don't seem to have the energy to document and comment about it.

So, you think that even if they have noticed it they don't find it as offensive as it would be if we KKKers descended on them en masse?

I'm taking a break and resting in the good guy goodness that is our Johnny Dollar and his place.

Too much time spent around Clucker and his aliases, causes you to lose faith in your fellow man.

and their primary accomplishment is to look like 5 year old boys throwing temper tantrums.

Check this!  I've gotten emails from a few of their haters.  One from a poster... the other from Colby himself!  Both of a, let's say... "threatening nature."  HA!

You gotta just have fun over there.  For a while there were folks who wanted to really talk.  But, either they've given up... or have been supplanted by the liberal-bots... who just post the same things over and over again.  It's a shame, but we saw this coming months ago.

My prediction... give it a year, and we'll see some big changes over there.  Hopefully... for the better, but I'm not holding my breath.

what did Colby say?

cecelia - yea... i agree, the content is too one sided too. i had high hopes for the site, but between the huge liberal bias, and the vile bots, it became a waste of my time. IM right - you are right! complete five year old type stuff. blech. Thanks Grammie. It's all good. I just took a shower, and deleted my link. hahah

i like it over here!

He sent me an email saying that I better “Check myself, before I wreck myself.”

I assume it was a thinly veiled threat, with an emphasis on me not having given him my email address in the first place (more or less a, “see I can find you” type of threat).  I responded to his email... and sent it to every other Mediaite writer’s email address too... you know, since I thought they might be interested.

He responded incoherently saying, “I guess you did” whatever that means.

Seems they don’t like to be called out on their flagrant bias, and lack of objectivity.  I say, tough.

It does seem at times to be a concerted effort.

The Ersatz Royal King seems to statr the comments on about half the threads.  Lately, he and Same2u have almost choreographed round robins with nothing to contribute except how vile some of the other commenters are.

I've wondered at Mediaite's seeming oblivion to the tactic.

Glynnnnis has come around though over at mediate with her glenn beck moments; she isn't as snarky as she used to be.  I can't read Tommy anymore at all.  I'm still posting over there (TfT) and at tvnewser (TinafromTampa) because I so enjoy watching them crack-up over the conservative posts.  Mediaite does need to mix it up though,  but I will give mediaite kudos because they are pretty good about cleaning up the dung left by some posters.

Sara:  She is a sick stalker, she constantly attacks me at TVNewser and will probably show up here if she figures out that Tina is TinafromTampa.  I would bet the same2u will jump over on TVNewser and tell NotsoAnonymous (the stalker) that I'm posting here now too.  She is one sick person.  That she posts at mediaite under my TVnewser identify demonstrates just how sick she is.  She needs help and yes, she is insane.imho.  BTW same has already posted at mediaite a big YIPPEE that you have exited mediaite.  That is what they try to do, chase of conservatives by constantly attacking and posting foul commentary.

I don't know for certain, because Johnny is an enigma surrounded by spicy proscuitto and wrapped in a marinated grape leaf, but I suspect that he would boot this crazy person off his site here.

well, if mediaite lets them drive people away, they deserve the psychos. when they become known for nothing but an echo chamber hate site, they will wish they would have booted hate mongers like same2u. the internet is full of sites to visit, i have no desire to wallow with those dregs of society! hahah I loved some of those posters though, but I think most of you are here. :O)
