I thought the interview with Bristol was simply awful. The girl was extremely inarticulate and kept saying the same thing over and over again. She talks about how ''blessed' she is, but she would have been even more so if she had kept her knees together instead of getting pregnant. And before you start bashing me for expressing my opinion, please note that for the record I voted for McCain, but I'm in the Coulter camp in regard to young single moms.

Just a heads up for Carlson...This morning she was talking about the Phelps apology to China...in an effort to help him keep his Mazda sponsorship deal....She informed the American public that Mazda had their HQ in China....It's actually in Hiroshima, Japan. Sad I've got to do FNC research for them.

Time for sleep...I maybe back latter.

OS...You have to be logged into the site(not comments) for your location to show up....I wasn't...hence you saw no one from UK.

The Mazda Motor (Shanghai) Business Management and Consulting Company--known as Mazda China Operations (MCO MCO Managed care organization,) was established on June 1, 2005 as Mazda's headquarters in China.

You're not at "news"hounds, haggy. Also, thanks for watching the #1 morning cable news show. If only you held msnbc/olbermahn to the same standards you hold Fox News to you might not be taken a tad bit more serious.

Just curious. Who were talking to? Why do you think you would be bashed for expressing your opinion? What difference does it make who you voted for or support?

Kurtz on Scott:

Kurtz ends the Reliable Sources clip with Olbermann giving Murdoch "one of his worst persons award" for the , "...we have never been a company that tolerates facts" misquote. Kurtz laid the blame on a transcription error and concluded, "Ouch. Olbermann QUICKLY corrected the mistake."

Could someone please give me a reality check. Either I was hallucinating for over a week or Kurtz is living his life on fast forward.

Well he made the phony quote on Friday and hours later Olbermann Watch exposed it as incorrect. Then on Monday he repeated the false quote. Then on Tuesday he was set to use it again (according to a script leaked to a HuffPo blogger) but before air time someone apparently told him he had to apologize. Which he did, saying the website he took the quote from made an error and he would apologize for them!. I too wonder how Kurtz finds that to be "quickly".

Contrast the way Kurtz runs interference for Olbermann in mischaracterizing Keith's apology as being swift, with the way Kurtz directly contradicts (and implicates) Jon Scott in reporting that Scott personally lifted the Repub memo quotes and packaging the graphics!

KO's idea of a correction is blaming someone else for his repeated error. His idea of an apology is apologizing "for" someone else's error refusing to admit any wrongdoing on his part.

Sorta like the Haggy method for saying I said he was banned for lying.

Am I right in thinking the reason for all the pens(10) during the signing of the stimulus bill by President Obama are so they can give them away as souvenirs....Or is there some other reason.

Haggis: No, Obama uses 10 pens instead of one to help stimulate the economy. This way the whitehouse has to buy more pens. Just think how many pen-makers he is helping to keep their jobs. The man is a genius. Why didnt Bush think of that? Obama is GOD!!!!

The serious answer is that they use all those pens because each one used becomes a souvenir of the event and they can give one to each of the people who worked to make it possible. A long tradition.

OS and Haggis, you are both right. There is a Mazda headquarters in China, but Mazda is a Japanese company.

Phelps probably apologized to China moreso because he won all his medals there and the Chinese government is very touchy about their image.

Mazda may very well be headquartered in Japan, but what Gretchen actually said is really at question, as we only have one persons word about that, and that person tends to have some difficulties providing accurate transcripts from Fox shows. Perhaps "Stan" has video from the program that he can share!

I think the point is that time is being spent on Haggis and his assertions.

If you handed Haggis proof of anything, on a silver platter, would it effect his thinking an iota? Would it make him more cautious? Would it make him more fair?

I'm sorry that there's not a more sincere and worthy adversary here to take on (notveryhow for instance). However, Haggis is no substitute for that. He's just the boy, two rolls behind you, who's throwing Milk Duds and making you miss the feature.

CC, what you (and probably johnny) want is for Haggis to just go away if everyone ignores him. You can't throw a firecracker in a room and tell everyone to ignore it.

I don't want haggy to go away. I want him to stop lying and being disingenuous, but, it's in his blood and his mo is based on just that.

I've thrown flames and veered way off topic myself so I'm not one of Johnny's favorites posters, either (contrary to popular opinion) and I know don't have a lot of room to talk, but, haggy's blatant lies can't be just left unchallenged which some have for whatever reason.

I, for the most part, let Johnny have the first stab at knocking haggy down. I've noticed he's let some go, unchallenged, so I did what needed to be done. End.

No, FF, firecracker-types are passionate. There's not an insincere bone in their body.

What you like is the "insider". The elbow nudger. The operator who winks and shrugs to the cool kids in the know. The elfin lad, skilled in the game, who seeks to have "them" on.

I start work 4am and get home just after F&F starts(UK time)....so I see some of it most days before getting some shut eye.
