I wonder if we will get a post from the Hideous Hateful Hens about the O'reilly segment with two, yes two, democrats.

Probably not but if there is one it will most likely inlcude the words "hate" and "smear".

So the problem with CNN is their anchors can't master the buzzer on Jeopardy?

Brings that "round hole, square peg" thought into play.

Puck30, they usually dumb down those questions when they have celebrities on the program.

I saw the Valerie Jarret segment on CNN last night.

When she was asked about Fox being biased she said "of course they are biased".

When Brown ask her the same question about MSNBC she clammed up and changed the subject.

She looked bad on that one.

why does the article say 63%? I don't see 68% anywhere

Countdown down for the count, if this keeps up Olbermann Watch will have to be renamed Where Is KO, complete with red & white knit cap!

ok, I think the article also did a typo, I read 53% but don't see 63%. The fact is that countdown is still down. Poor Olby, he might need to do another "special comment" to boost ratings

Maybe MSNBC will wait out the bad news until the election cycle really begins in hopes of increasing his ratings.

If I was Olberman I would be embarrased talking into a camera no one is watching.

Re: "Jarrett's losing argument": When I first saw that title, I thought it was about Gregg. But it was Valerie. John Gibson focused on that "losing argument" on his radio show today. MSNBC clips were played, and some were from Keith Olbermann.

So let's see if I got this right.

Ellen approves of a US Congressman using their powers as a congressman to publically refer to a woman as a "whore".

Why am I not surprised?

We should be happy for them, both worldly losers, each finding a friend in the other. Sort of like the two charactors from "Dumb and Dumber".

I just read something that makes me outraged.

Gore Vidal, the great liberal thinker who is the darling of some on the left in cable news, just recently on Joy Behar, Larry King, has been on Bill Maher.

Today it was reported that in an interview, when asked about the Polanski case, (from Newsbusters) "Vidal claimed he didn't "give a f---" about the Polanski case. "Look, am I going to sit and weep every time a young hooker feels as though she's been taken advantage of?"

So the great lib believes a 13 year old rape victim is nothing more than a young hooker.

I would expect him to be held accountable for his statement the next time he's on one of the shows, but unless he appears on The Factor (which is unlikely), I doubt that it would happen, the Behars, Mahers, and Kings will not say word one about it.

Grammie I didn't cover it directly, but I supplied the video that everybody is using. I didn't think it especially noteworthy. People get impromptu interviews all the time, and they aren't expected to chase around looking for the guy's opponent. They put on the opponent when he agrees to come on, which Corzine hasn't. In fact just today, Shep reiterated that the offer to interview Corzine still stands. It's Corzine who hasn't accepted the offer. In other words, a non-story.

Shep Smith Socks It To 'Em Again - You Go, Guy!
Reported by Julie - Wed 2:51 PM

Smith has always been fair and balanced. No one is dipping any toes.

Smith didn't slap down Bream. He asked her politely if there was going to be an interview with the democratic candidate. She said they had several requests in which means the guy probably refused to be interviewed by Fox.

By the way, Julie seemed to imply that Huffington Post used the slap down comment. They didn't. Julie made that up out of whole cloth.

Julie is an out and out liar. She fits the mold of the bigots at News Hounds.

I didn't think there was anything odd that Corzine was not questioned but it did strike me as odd that SS would react the way he did especially since the reporter made it clear that Corzine had been asked and declined many times. I think SS turned a non-story into a cudgel for those who hate FOX.

It was a bit of overreaction. I'm betting it wouldn't be difficult to find instances of Shep himself interviewing one side when the other declined. A news organization cannot let one side program their network: if candidate A refuses to appear, the network shouldn't let A in effect ban candidate B from the air. If A doesn't appear, then B goes it alone. A can't use his refusal to keep B off the air.

It was to my dismay that a comment posted at NewsBusters fueled a real denunciation of Shep Smith, by the ideologues. You want to see some hate? Post any comment with SS's name included. Sad, but not surprising in this polarized atmosphere.

Deleting the Fetid Patrick's personal attacks, foul language, and copyright infringements, leaves Patrick with not a word left.
