I found this quote to be very interesting:

If that really was one of the Bassets, so much for the "We watch FNC so you don't have to". Har! What's interesting is that this Fox Hater doesn't even consider watching CNN.
In another matter, the gorgeous Julie B is hosting on FNC right now. She looks beautiful and her pregnancy is now obvious. Did I mention she's gorgeous?

CNN & MSNBC brass just shuffling deck chairs as their liners are sinking. No fundamental changes in the works from what I am seeing so FoxNews will continue to dominate in 2010 & beyond. Thats what happens when liberal managers/officers spend all their time talking to each other. They can't imagine how out of touch they are with the majority of cable news viewers so they keep making the sames mistakes over & over again. I find it amusing, but then, I am easily amused.

The decade of primetime is interesing.
For now, MSNBC can be boasting all it wants about being in 2nd place (though a very close second place with CNN), but if the current trend continues, it appears that HLN will be #2 by Spring and Cankles and company will be boasting about being in 3rd. CNN is plummeting, 2010 must be the year that CNN makes some major changes if they want to turn it around. The gap between FNC/CNN is so tight for 2008, 12 months later....what a difference.
I can't help but wonder if Roger Ailes is being courted by the other cable news nets. If I was head of CNN or MSNBC, I would.

I think you should give up on getting your gravatar to appear (I have) and try using the option (by clicking on the gray profile when composing your comment) of an avatar from your computer. Echo will upload it and in theory it should work just fine that way.

My photo of Blackadder is pulling from my Gravatar Account. When logged in:
Click on the avatar box, top left of the complete dialog box
On the choice for gravatar, select bottom item (click on radio button), then enter to the right of that your email addressed used for gravatar.
It worked OK for me, I hope this helps you two.
This new ECHO system is great, I love being able to add photos and to reply to specific posts.

That's the step I wasn't getting. I didn't realize I had to type in that email address to the right. It isn't exactly intuitive but thanks for pointing it out. I think it will work now.

This is funny. From the newsliars: Fox & Friends Disprespect Old Glory?
Prissy whines about a upside down flag that a guy is doing. But I remember MSNBC flying the flag upside down. This site brought it up earlier this year. Also Johnny you were wrong about Kimberly hosting the factor last night. I tuned in and saw Eric Bolling hosting. Plus the fact if you went to oreilly website, it had his name on hosting. Tonight on The factor-is the entire Palin interview. i won't be watching-College Football Bowl games on ESPN tonight. Those are always good

So what the newshounds are saying is that F&F were disrepectful to the flag because THEY DID NOT CHALLENGE the guy (who the hounds correctly report was using his first amendment rights) who flying them that way. The hounds are idiots.

Flying a flag upside down does not showing disrespect towards a flag, anymore than flying it at half-mast does.
It's a naval symbol of distress.
This is a political statement on the part this organization. Some protest groups have burned or stomped on the flag and this is a political statement too, but not the same act or the same statement.
One statement is conveyed via descreating the flag, the other does not.
One statement denotes contempt, the other distress.

So Kathy Griffin will be back on CNN for New Years Eve. I remember earlier in the year it was reported that she would not be back. Right after her last new years appearance which was disgraceful, our good friend Haggy commented that CNN would have her back next year. Looks like he'll be proved right. How unusual!
Seriously, CNN's ratings have plummeted since last year, and their method to improve ratings is to do the same old crap.

The entire Blackadder series is great, the Christmas special is classic. I recently read somewhere that there was a possibility that an upcoming episode of Doctor Who would bring the Doctor and Blackadder together. I'm not sure if I like that, but it could be good.
