On Monday, for example, Hannity doubled her 25-54 figures and fared even better overall, while Tuesday's ratings brought similar results. Maddow's only consolation: she's beating mentor Keith Olbermann, whose program airs just before hers.

Huckabee was on F&F today....Everything Obama does is bad....The usual script. But the entertainment started when the Friends brought on Charles G. Hogg....The Groundhog that bit Mayor Bloomberg....Doocy was there egging Huckabee on to pat it....Huckabee appeared reticent....Strange for some one who claimed to grill squirrels in a pop-corn maker...But non the less he wasn't for it...Then Doocy appeared to grab Huckabee's hand to place I on the Groundhog....Huckabee recoiled....fist clenched....ready to through a punch...I was astonished by this aggressive outburst....Lucky for Doocy...Huckabee remembered where he was...He then burst into the most unconvincing laugh I've heard for a long time.

In my opinion ED Hill was thrown under the bus for the "terrorist fist jab", it was probably a producers idea to say that. ED was always "fair and balanced" by far the best host of Fox and Friends. They should have moved Carlson out and put ED back on the curvy couch. To me Carlson should be gone and ED should still be at Fox.

From the Zucker article:

Q: The animosity—name-calling and insults—between Olbermann and rival Bill O'Reilly of Fox News sometimes borders on the buffoonish. Are you inclined to halt it on your side?

Zucker: [Long pause.] It's become part of the fabric of both of those shows, and it probably would be better if it weren't personal. And I wish it weren't so personal.

Obama is giving a policy speech. FNC interrupted O'Reilly to carry it live. CNN carried it too. MSNBC sticks with Keith doing his 'worst person' shtick.

Keith's bellowing takes precedence over the President, even when the President is Obama. MSNBC is pitiful, and Olbermann is worse for permitting (or more likely demanding) it.

But Haggis, how can it be "Spot on" when you could not prove that she said what you claim??? You had to lie and invent Stan to rush to your defense. Actually, he rushed to Chippys response and you were lying about being Chippy at the time. The only evidence you can produce is your word, and everyone here knows that, based on your history of lie upon lie upon lie (I could keep going for several hundred more lines of type on this), based on your history, your word is worthless. You are a liar so no one can trust a word you say. Your analysis...spot on? Not at all.

This 7:41 post is a great example of blithering rubbish. Hag feebly attempts to pin this loss on BOR, but people of intelligence recognize the aspect of asset shrink caused from the stock market, but Haggis doesn't let facts get in the way. He doesn't mention that this loss applies to all of News Corp which FNC is merely a small piece of that pie. FNC was actually a good performer. Haggis, of the hundreds of your posts on this site which I've read, I've never seen one you've written that is anything close to being "straight talk". Your stuff is typically lies, smears, phoney , made up stuff, or blather. If you actually have written anything that truly is straight talk, then I must have missed it. But your accusation "You simply can't answer my straight talk" is a classic example of a "pot calling the kettle" scenario. If BOR still had the segment, it would be "The Most Ridiculous Item of the Day".

Call your post sarcasm or whatever you want. You clearly try to blame the losses on BORs ratings and try to imply that he has been wrong over the years saying that only "left wing" media is losing money. You clearly haven't through all the facts of the News Corp loss and the lack of impact from FNC on that. You try to prove BOR wrong by pointing out that News Corp is losing money in DVD sales and other non-FNC business segments.

Essentially, your posts on this subject are just more haggyblather.

Sorry Haggy - once again, your analysis is spot off! In Haggyworld, my saying that Torchwood was a great show proves that I believe that the BBC is a magnificent news provider.
Allow me to edjukate ya!

1. Torchwood was a great show, but the idiots at BBC cancelled it after only 2 13-ep seasons.

2. I think the BBC is extremely anti-american in their news reporting.

3. I think that a substantial portion of the BBC news segment is far more gracious to Al Qaeda than to Americans.

4. I hope to learn more about BBC fakery scandals that OS mentions. Based on the poor reporting history of the BBC, the prospect of fakery scandals do not surprise me.

Hutton said the 12 BBC governors failed to carry out proper checks on Gilligan's story, which was based on an interview with Kelly, then failed in its duty to inform the public that the information it broadcast might have been wrong.

The verdict was a huge blow for BBC, which governs itself, even though it is funded by mandatory annual license fees on TV sets.

Curious why you ended that quote where you did..."Blue ..."
It wouldn't be because the rest read....Peter cat  A kids show....It was still wrong...but hot the great scandal OS is making out.

"misrepresenting the Queen"

The BBC didn't actual misrepresent the Queen...But the production company that made the Docu. did this....The BBC only aired the trailer....Admittedly without checking it was correct.

You can't rebut my arguments... So you resort to gimmickry....But what your really saying is....Your wrong....HaggisFarmer | 02.06.09 - 12:59 pm | #

Haggis, I have rebutted gazillions of your arguments. I did rebut your argument that you are whining about here, but you just don't like what you see. That's your perogitive. But let's get something straight here.

You are the one who has consistently made false accusations, invented false issues, made up phony "facts", twisted and manipulated others words, frequently duck and dodge direct questions posed to you, offered baseless smears, and most of all, have routinely lied your way throughout your stay at J$P.

For you to write to anyone "You can't rebut my arguments... " is completely absurd, so get off your high horse. You have absolutely no moral or factual standing to say that to anyone.

I did rebut your News Corp loss argument and I will no longer participate in your thread hoggery on that topic.

London - The BBC, Britain's venerable broadcaster, has become the latest media institution to come under the spotlight for its reporting practices, joining other respected organisations such as the New York Times or the German magazine Stern who have come under heavy criticism in recent times.

Lesson learned - the BBC news does not fact check.

Let's not dwell on the BBC all that much. They are not really a player in the US cable news game.

I love it when you far left loons can't refute a point you refer to it as a "talking point." I think you should call it an "irrefutable talking point."
