Regarding Cankles declining ratings. He's lost over 1/5th of his demo, and 12% of his overall. There was a great comment I found over at Chickaboomer from Anonymous.

"Hey Marty,
Maybe that's why he calls it "Countdown" instead of "Countup".

Sometimes irony is ironic."

olbermann circling the drain? That's funny cause about a week ago some progressive of many names (hint, hint) at tp tried claiming "keith was on the rise." Of course, said poster had nothing to support his claim.......

OS - would that someone happen to be from Scotland who does not get MSNBC on his electric satellite dish?

Do you all remember all the gleeful-but-disguised-as-portentous posts that we used to read here, about how after the election, FNC would be able fit their audience into a broom closet...

Even though Mika has grown on me, I hope Imus kicks MORNING JOE's fanny....

Even though Mr. Scarborough wants to be the GOP's Obama (all hail the savior), I don't think anyone employed by MSNBC has any conservative's best interest at heart.

Secondly, MSNBC cannot be third again on a consistant basis soon enough for my taste.

I remember Cecelia, but now many of those same people are now saying that ratings are meaningless.

Well, ratings are not meaningless. What they do mean is that FNC is earning more revenue for its shows, and Beck-Baier-Smith-BOR-Hannity-Van Susteren do not have to worry about having their shows cancelled.

Cankles-Coop-Sgt. Shultz....a much different story.

BTW - I haven't watched Larry King in a while, but today I heard a clip from his show. He sounded very frail.

I believe the person who made that claim likes to use the word "projection" on a regular basis in response to what would usually be factual. In this case I guess "failed projection" would be more fitting.

Larry looks terrible too, Ashley, but then he has for years. He'll outlive us all.

Well said, Anon, but there wasn't just one person saying that. We had a regular chorus singing it during the election.

Cee, I enjoy Morning Joe because it's a good show and I like both Joe and Mika individually.

I also like to play "are they...or...aren't they" too, when I'm watching.

However, the thought of Joe Scarborough as the great Republican hope is laughable.

FoxNews domination not the news, Countdown With KO ratings collapse is the new news. His show dropping like the Titanic, Pity!

Looks like little buster-t still has a problem with comprehension.

Would this qualify as a "fox hater?" Is it coincidental that most of the tp posters are newshounds posters, too? Olby Sucks | Homepage | 09.30.09 - 5:39 pm

Is this idiot really that friggin stupid and paranoid that he thinks everyone that comments on another blog also is a NewsHounder? He needs to be put in the asylum right along with the other Dollarites.

I have to say it but buster brown may have stumbled into a valid point. After all, once you discount the sock puppets, multiple identities, and fictitious postings, there aren't enough actual posters at NH to populate a cyber phone booth, let alone an entire blog like TP.

I think I was misunderstood. Most of the newshounds posters also post at tp. The king of the sock puppest (patsy) also uses many names at tp. "Johnny Dol1ar" being one of many.

Hahaha! Just minutes after I posted at 6:44 pm above, it appeared at the "We read J$ so you do have to" (love that name!) spot. I wondered just how compulsively john t and his two pals obsess over this site, so I posted the above, making it just the sort of bait they couldn't resist. Sure enough, they went for it hook, line, and sinker. Hey jt, thanks for reading J$P, and thanks for confirming just how closely you read it. You can go report to Brodsky now. LOL!

Johnny, I read in one of the posts there where they blamed the "Do" on the website. Just like the li'l feller could not spell the word "too" on his Al f blog, he can't spell the word "don't" on this new blog.

As John T might say, Patrick is stupis.

You mean it's a website that bans the word "Don't"?!? That's a new one! But hey, you really don't expect liars to tell the truth, do you?

You know how there are always at least a few people on this site in whosamongus? You should subtract one from the number because john t is always here. He doesn't count.

As I recall, one of the Dunce Triplets said that it was "a Reddit thing". I'd like to check the exact quote, but my BB can no longer load the page properly. That site is not exactly Blackberry friendly.

That site isn't anything friendly. How are you supposed to wade through all the random comments and posts? Are they in any order whatsoever? Is it so hard to have the latest entries at the bottom, or at the top, or at least all in one place?

I really like Reddit. I've been reading it for years. Note to Patrick, no, I still have never had an account there.

There's a lot of liberalism and atheism there, but there is also a lot of intelligent banter and interesting topics there.

The comments are moderated by the users by upvoting and downvoting to determine their position. So are the articles. You can choose to view newest on top at the top of the page if that's what you want, J$.

Thanks for the tip. But I think that since my experiment was a success, I've had my fill of that particular cesspool.

If Comcast buys NBC-Uni, will they take MSNBC, CNBC, SyFy, Bravo, etc off DirecTV like they have Versus?
