Analysis shows that Obama gets much more favorable coverage than any previous President and yet there are complaints. Amazing.

The ratings trends shows Obama is on weak ground here. People know who have the power and when there is critical, objective and pressing checking of that power they like it...See CNN's and MSNBC's falling ratings for evidence that lack of checking of government power is not appreciated.

This is a little old, but I just watched the Hannity/Michael Moore piece.

Hannity had a good opportunity to correct Moore on something. When Moore was trying to profess his patriotism, he falsely claimed that the statement "a government for the people, by the people" was in the U.S. Constitution. Hannity didn't challenge him on that. Too bad.

Harris Faulkner doing an excellent job subbing for Jane Skinner today. She's good enough to be a regular anchor.

Wow! Is Keith Olbermann going to name Morning Joe Worst Person in the World for going against Obama and defending Fox?

Rachel Maddow is the voice of America? Not many Americans are hearing that voice.

Amanda Marcotte, writer of this article, is the former Blogger for the Edwards campaign. She was fired for her hate filled rants against religion, specifically the Catholic Church.

Johnny - you were mentioned in TVNewser for refuting Dunn's false claim about FNC and Sen. Ensign.

For that matter, why is it that they call it a 'smear', without any evidence that it's factually inaccurate or incorrect? Do the news liars now define a 'smear' as 'something that is true but we would rather you not mention'?

Great link, Chris.

Let me be the first to compliment you on that beautiful big type, Johnny. Me and my eyes love ya!

Ashley, that was also a great link you shared.

OK, I realize that I just made another incredibly stupid comment again.

You haven't switched to a new layout with big type. Nope. My monitor, or whatever is causing it, is screwed up.

The type is so big b/c the center frame and background is expanded and there is nothing in the right hand rail.

Not to worry, though, I still love ya!

Thank you Grammie.

J$ - let me be the second to compliment you on that beautiful big type. With the new format, on my browser, it pushes Ellen's photo down below where I can't see it, so my eyes love ya too!

I don't know what this big new format is myself. I suspect somebody just clicked on the 'bigger text' button on their browser, but I'll take the compliments anyhow!

Thanks, Ashley, I just found the info from the right hand rail at the bottom.

Now, Johnny, who linked on what browser? Whoever it was can I get the old screen back.

I love the big type but I don't have access to the comments on "The War on Fox Thread" nor the scrolling news headlines from FNC.

I don't know what you did. Does your browser have a text size setting, to make text larger or smaller? The only thing I can figure is that somehow it got set to a larger size. What browser are you using? Anyone who has any ideas, please chime in!

If you hold down control and scroll your mouse wheel up and down, the text zooms accordingly.

I was gone for a long weekend to TN to a place with no cell coverage much less internet, but I didn't miss the digital world while I was filleting and frying the fish we caught! It's good to be back in civilization though.

Johnny - there is a big difference in the web site now. Everything is in one column. The top of the column normally found at the right side of the screen (About J$P, Ellen's photo), is now at the bottom of the only remaining column which ends at the 9/1/09 blog page. Also, all of the text on the page is centered, not left justified.

Anyone viewing on Windows with Firefox or Internet Exploder should be OK now. I checked with my brother who sez everything looks OK. I think I had a formatting error in my top post that was screwing everything up that came after it, only I didn't see it because it didn't affect the Mac browsers I use.

Re Terry Keenan: I have some news on that front, but at the risk of being scooped by somebody else, I'm saving it for my Tuesday post, which will go up in a couple of hours.
