Re: "Huck response to Malkin": I believe his side of the story. I'm still on your side, Mike. I watched "Huckabee" last night because Chuck Woolery was on. It was good to see him. (My attempts to change the subject are futile, aren't they, Huck haters?)

Don't quite know if you are a Huckabee supporter or not Mike C. You might to read up on the clemencies that Huckabee granted and those overturned because he failed to state a reason which is required under state law. Also you might want to look up another rapist that he turned loose with his signature who went on to rape and murder. Huckabee is finished for any office. He has now the blood of 5 innocent people people on his hand's because of his signing on the dotted line as governor of Arkansas. And FOX had better get their head's out of their backside and mention the Huckabee factor or the FOX hater's will be able to finally justify their hatered for FOX.

I heard Fox report the Huckabee angle yesterday, so I think their heads are properly situated.

It was one of the first things they mentioned today at 11am... "Clemency by former governor Mike Huckabee."

Expect, however, for the Hounds to find clips where the reporter says something like, "Was granted clemency in Arkansas..." and not mention Huckabee. I'm sure they'll take those quotes as "evidence" of everything else, no matter how many times Huckabee's name gets mentioned.

J$ you should preemptively strike, showing all the times they mention Huck's name!

Thank you for the correction J$. I heard nothing yesterday during the time's I watched and nothing this morning so far since 6am. A side note that live scanner link on MM's site is interesting listening as they hunt for this scumbag.

Dan Springer just mentioned that Huckabee released him from a 95 year sentence, but he failed to mention that Huckabee is a FOX employee. So I go back to my earlier statement that FOX needs to remove their head's from their backside and disclose on every report the FOX, Huckabee and gunman's connection. So I must beg to differ with you J$ about FOX having their head situiated properly unless you have the time and link that FOX has mentioned the above stated connection's being aired on FOX. Faster FOX get's him on a show to answer the less fuel the FOX hater's will have. I'm sure the keithy will have a field day tonight. Get Huckabee on LIVE and fast.

and Imnotblue I have been watching FOX since 6am CST and the first mention I heard was just moment's ago. If I'm wrong than so be it, which I hope I am, since I'm listening to SPD scanner traffic, FOX and flipping back and forth between the two non cable news channel's.

Sorry scott but I dont buy what you say about the haters....no matter what fox does the hater will just make it up to fit what they want. Id like to hear more about why this guy was out on bail then why Huck let him go years ago.

As with ALL cases the haters will lie about what Fox says and only the already haters will care......it should be a boom for J$ FHIR this weekend.

Why on earth should FOX need to say every report about Huck being a FOX employee? Talk about a way to drive people away when they get sick of hearing it hour after hour. People who care already know it.

That said I watched Fox for about 5min today so far and they said it twice durring those 5 min.

The hounds and KO will just act like Fox NEVER said it...even thought they will know they did.

Well, you are wrong. I heard it at 11, the first time I turned on the tube... it was the first thing they said at the start of the show.

Simple as that.

Huck better hope his FoxNews weekend show ratings remain robust, because his political career is OVER! One to many bad guys (over 1,000 as Ark Governor let loose by him).

Well the IL gov just let 1000 guys go.....so now that we know that the Gov is to blame for all crimes they commit for atleast the next 10 years.....it should be fun here in IL......of course its not like Quinn could win anyway.

If Huck was a Democrat and wasnt on Fox News this whole story would be differnt on all sides. Just a guess but I wonder if the Judge who let this guy out on bail is Oh I dont know a DEMOCRAT maybe?

Didnt I read Sunday that Huck said on Fox news that he wasnt even thinking about running?

If Huckabee plans to have a political future, it's going to be fellow Republican primary candidates that he will have to contend with and hard-nosed law-and-order Republican voters who he'll have to win.

There's no use acting as though Huckabee is somehow being singled out in a way that wouldn't happen if he were a Democrat/liberal. This sort of scenario is EXACTLY the sort of political talking points that are the stuff of conservative politics.

Well, Mike, if it makes you feel any better, know that I'm not the sole member of O'Reilly's audience.

If Huck's interview on O'Reilly can cause Gringrich, Cheney, Jindal, Palin, or whoever... the Republican prez candidate will be... to shy away from pounding on Huck's judgment like it was a crooked nail, then I'd say you're in clover.

I called it perfectly. FOX got Huckabee on to answer (a rather pathetic O'Reilly interview Mike C) for his commutation of this cop killer. And Keithy named Huckabee "worse" person. And to answer your question Mike C, my perception has went down the toilet concerning Huckabee because he spun the interview and O'Reilly would have never let happen as is proven beyond any doubt with his stating the two judge's would answer one way or another. Did you miss that part? Huckabee is being proven to be the Republican version of Obama in the sense that there is no evil people in the world and they just need a little love. Huckabee's decision's have left 5 possibly 6 innocent people dead and countless other's raped and victimized by his decision's. Those are the fact's easily found in searches. And I doubt Huckabee went on O'Reilly without an order from the top.

I watched the Huckabee interview in 45 min time lapse. Huck gets the gravity of this, and while all of the others who paved the way to the commutation will go free, I'm not sure if he will get the same release.

I feel bad for him. I feel worse for the families of the raped and murdered.

It seems to me, that the majority of the anti-Huckabee comments come from people who disliked Huckabee to begin with. That's fine and all (personally, I have no feelings one way or another), but wrapping the situation to fit your dislike is misguided at best. Referencing all the "other" clemency requests suggests you have a pre-existing beef with him... and this is just another element of that beef... not necessarily a result of the current situation.

Huckabee did a nice job talking about his responsibility in granting clemency, but also talking about all the other instances when law officials should have managed to keep this guy under wraps. The guy was released on bail how many weeks ago... but somehow it's Huckabee's fault for a decision he made over 10 years ago?! I don't think so...

I guess if you disliked Huckabee going into this, you were going to dislike him coming out. I'd like to see some more specifics about what you disliked in the O'Reilly interview... what did Huckabee say that you disagreed with, or feel was misleading? Let's go from there...

Mike C, INB and FF next time take off the blinder's and see the full vision of an interview. When one of the top conservative blogger's agree's with my judgement (among many other blogger's all having posted after I posted my post) I would say your post's are something that would be more fitting for a Olbermann loving site. You know a site where Reality is blurred by FACT'S.

I don't need reassurance that Huckabee is a good man and was a good governor.

He is and was both. That I know.

However, I would need more reassurance than I believe anyone could possibly give, that he is politically viable after this.

As I have said, if he runs, his own Republican primary competition will pound him mercilessly with this. It is an issue that hits home with a large segment of the public.

It is the sort of issue that has made O'Reilly the #1 cable host.

I don't know if you win any points because Michelle Malkin agreed with you. I'm not really interested in who else "agrees," only the points they make.

But if you really want to play that game... Michelle Malkin vs. Bill O'Reilly... who wins that one? By that standard, Malkin remains small potatoes... sexy as they may be.

Don't be Blue Blue. You lost and last time I checked Malkin didn't have a tv show. Maybe you consider some guy that hides behind a camera versus a woman that has had to move her family for her reporting a toughy. Thanks for proving me correct that you lost the game since you didn't counter any of my post's and stooped to the RADICAL LEFT-WING world of defaing a woman and trying to change the subject.

Scott, since you hold such an apparent disdain for Huckabee, who's your preference for republican nominee 2012?

I'll wager you had a moment of clarity and finally realized that Ron Paul is the only logical choice.
