For the SOTU, Cankles, Chrissie, and Maddow are "Anchors"?  That just must be driving Chuck Todd crazy.

The evidence just keeps piling up showing why MSNBC may soon be fighting to stay out of 4th place.

Nice balance in the FNC SOTU coverage.....Palin/Rove and Beckel/Trippi.  Now that is Fair and Balanced!

The Stossel town hall on FBN might be interesting.

CNN - Blitzer/Brown
FNC/FBN - Baier/Cavuto
MSNBC - Olbermann/Matthews/Maddow

Fox Nation currently has this in one of their lede items:

ACORN Filmmaker Busted By FBI

Looks like a straight up headline-will the newsliars notice?

Hot Air has a link yo the Nola site with a Pyayune atricle:

NOLA James O’Keefe arrested for trying to tap Mary Landrieu’s office phones

I must say this sounds flat out wierd.  It seems Giles used his cell phone to tape the others, who were dressed as telephone repair men and did something, or attempted to do something  to the phones.

Can't wait for the details!

I'm sure-or they will cherry pick what is said about it-While all this is going MM has a article up asking How Fox will cover it: http://mediamatters.org/blog/201001260042

No where in it is the Fox Nation headline or how Fox News is covering it. But they did have time to update the story 3 times with no mention.

I just noticed that the story is part of the scrawl on Fox also.  They are definitely giving it a lot more coverage than say MSM coverage of the IPCC Himalayan Glaciers PHONY will be gone in 2035.

Great article by Rita Cosby.

"The men and boys were furthered heartened when the pilot upon spotting them dropped a chocolate bar (surely a Hershey’s in 1945) with a note wrapped around it. The note was simple – and I paraphrase – “Go 15 miles west to American lines and freedom.”

That sent chills up my spine.

Here's the latest tidbit of ignorance from the resident moron at News Hounds.

They can sell an ad time to anybody they want to. I just think it's time for the RWers to shut the hell up about "liberal media".
Posted by: john t on Tue 1.26 3:56am

He was referring to an add that is scheduled to appear on CBS during the Super Bowl from an anti abortion group.

I could explain to littlejohnt that he doesn't know anything about ad time on TV but I am afraid it would make him cry.

Little John is telling the RW'ers to shut up about the ad, but he's not telling the left wingers to shut up about ad.  What are the RW'er saying?  The left is demanding the ad be kept off, but the ad has been purchased.  Little John is confused.

FBI arrests PIMP O'keefe....Malkin has disowned him already....How quick will FNC disown their super hero.
How will Beck/Hannity/O'reilly/The Friends/Wallace (who gave this alleged criminal the award of power player of the week on FNS)....etc spin this huge mess. The Friends will be must see TV tomorrow....but I suspect they'll give very light coverage.

Johnny, perhaps you should consider a protocol to aid Haggis in not making a bigger fool of himself.

Haggis, for all the time you've spent here you sure seem to be clueless in reading regulars.  As if Right has ever done anything that would justify your assuming that that Right would deny something that he had himself just admitted.  After all, you are not one of his role models.

Right was replying to a since deleted vicious smear against Blackfon by a NHer.

When people come in here from the newshounds and commit actionable libel and/or slander against someone, I have no choice legally but to delete the post. Not to mention that it violates our rules against attacking our commenters. I didn't know what point exactly Haggis was making but it seemed to be an off-shoot from that deleted libel so it went.

I'd love to have heard what the FBI said to O'keefe while arresting him...maybe it went something like this...."We're the FBI son, and we haven't had our dinner yet"....."So get your trousers on, you're nicked" LOL

Brownie point for the 1st person to name the UK series these quotes came from.

- The Don't Tase Me Bro Guy
- Balloon Boy's Dad
- Haggis' imaginary friend Stan
- Tareq Salahi

It's interesting.  You can suspend your judgment of people talking on camera about how to con the govt out of money for a sex slavery business, but you've got O'Keef tried and convicted.

A couple of low level employees saying some stupid things on camera....Doesn't make the whole organisation corrupt. You wouldn't say the US army was all corrupt after a couple of Privates said something stupid on camera....Now would you?

" but you've got O'Keef tried and convicted."

Just like FNC did with ACORN.

It was more than a couple of employees, Haggis, O'Keefe got the same result from 4 offices.  And yes, ANY organization (let alone one receiving federal money) is answerable for the people it hires.
Saying THAT is not "trying and convicting" them.

Your  assumptions about O'Keefe with the little information that you have, IS jumping the gun.

Remember anchorman Charles Gibson admitting that he knew nothing of the ACORN story.

The irony here is that some of the media is now going to have to give their readers the background they never bothered informing them about when the piece was a story!

The O'Keefe story was the lead on both Olbermann and Maddow last night. Shows you where their priorities are.

O'Keefe was an idiot for his actions but it doesn't rise to a Watergate type crime. Not even close.

I'll wait for ALL of the facts come out before throwing the key away.

The Hounds had to search high and low on Fox to find that Hannity and Beck did not mention the O'Keefe story last night.

Of course they never mentioned all of the other places on Fox where it was mentioned.

Once again, an example of their cherry picking.

No real prostitute was used-damn can he ever get something right?
