So, according to the always reliable Daily Kos numbers, if you add them all up; 120 plus percent of "Repubicans" think Obama is something bad. Hack journalism, thy name is Olbermann.

Well consider the facts. The term 'repubican' is a common one at DailyKos; you can find hundreds of examples. By coincidence Olbermann's blog of choice is Daily Kos. And this is a daily Kos poll--another coincidence. And who was Olby 'interviewing' in this segment? Why Daily Kos himself. It could have been a simple typo despite this string of coincidences. Or it could have been deliberate.

BOR did a magnificent job. Haggis, isn't it terrific that the hosts of prime time fox news programming bring on guests with opposing views or who have been critical of the network? You never see this on MSNBC and rarely on CNN. FNC = fair and balanced. by the way, I think it's great that even YOU watch Fox News.

Yes Haggis, we know. Mr. O'Reilly said. "There's was too much and we had to edit for tv time". So he posted the whole interview uncut at the website. So there was nothing left on the floor was there?
The folks that would have watched the interview from last night and Wednesday would have known that. So many of us went to the website. And watched it.
And in my humble opinion both did well, and both got in their shots.
Now about that Olbermann/Steven Crowder interview? Does anybody know when that will happen?
Oh my! I must be living in a dream world!

Let's examine the facts:
1) Shuster tweets numerous times each day, every day, every week, since he started his account.
2) Shuster makes an unbelievably stupid series of tweets accusing James O'Keefe of things the government didtn't even charge him with, and even found him guilty and expressed a future of jail for O'Keefe.
3) Someone at MSNBC had a talk with him.
4) Shuster silent for more than a week.
A "nonsense" story? Just like when you made a stupid allegation that BOR "called Obama a pinhead"?

Since you say he called Obama a pinhead, please quote his words. Those segments are all available on line so that should be no trouble for you. Also you supplied another alternative explanation that you ridiculed as "calling an inanimate object a pinhead". That is also false. But being the benevolent administrator that I am, I won't pass judgment until you respond with your quotes. The usual ground rules apply.

I don't even ban people for lying, I just give them a brief respite at Exile Island, where there is no outlet to plug in an electric satellite dish. I don't know if this is still the case, but after the "Karma Bites" and the incident of Olbermann telling an email critic to "kill yourself" imbroligos, Keith said that that MSNBC had taken away his email account.

I'm not sure how accurate this prognostication will be, but I've been enjoying the circling vultures when it comes to Countdown's demise.
Honestly, it has never been my hope that the show would go under. The show is such a window into the thinking of the left, so closed, contrived, and ill-willed, that it stands as Exhibit A to almost all of the strident cries of horror from the left that FNC has treated a conservative or a conservative idea with respect. Perish the thought... all conservatives and conservative ideology must come with a warning label as they do on CNN, MSNBC, and the big three news broadcasts.
I digress... my point is that it is interesting to see the sudden predictions that Countdown is over, because it shows that there are people in the industry who think that Keith has jumped the shark. That his show has become a parody of itself, and there's really no place left for it to go, other than down.
THAT is coming from some media insiders. Olbermann may be disdainful of anything he doesn't wish to hear, but my guess is that MSNBC isn't and that change is in the air with the show.

Cecelia, Olbermann has a little more then a year to go on his contract. NBCU will not fire him at this point because they are just about to sell off MSNBC.
And I suspect Comcast will just let his contract run out unless he does something where they can fire him and not have to pay him. I don't see him going anywhere, because he has been fired from just about everywhere.
You don't see him booked on talk shows. You don't see him written about in the tv sections of Newspapers anymore.

VA and NJ governors, both states that Obama won big, but a year later, the dems lost big. Obama endorsed and campaigned for all three dem candidates for those governor races plus the MA Senate Race. All three dems lost.

NOTICE THE LATEST cable news links-no watching. He does what his tagline claims.
Now on a different subject: I left my TV on MSNBC lastnight and for the heck of it, when I came home from work and decided to rewind my TV (I have a DVR) and caught some of D-rat show, he was interviewing some Tea party people and on the bottom it basically said that Ed Schultz will have LIVE coverage tomorrow night at 9pm for the tea party convention. Second, from the article
The MSNBC commentator went off on a rant Thursday over a story that asked whether he is losing his appeal. It cited significant declines in his ratings from a year ago.
Olbermann didn’t have the facts on his side. His ratings are down substantially from a year ago. Moreover, he is beaten fairly regularly by Nancy Grace on Headline News. So he pounded the table and attacked the messenger.

I get the feeling that the media would much rather have Rachel Maddow speaking for the Left, than Keith Olbermann.
I think they're over the giddy high of a tv pesonality going left and actually improving the ratings, and are heading back into the familiar of territory of feeling smug when the "dum..dum..dummies" (to quote Glenn Beck) that are the general public don't watch things with a leftist tilt.

When Imus asked jokingly "will she be sitting on your lap", if Wallace would have done the opposite of what he did do, gotten serious, and said/acted the way the fox haters are saying he should have, Wallace would have come off as a real stiff. It was a lose lose for him.
But thank you for pointing this out Haggis, you've given us evidence that people on Fox do talk negatively about others on Fox, and don't get reprimanded by the powers that be, just as Scarborough had happen to him. Haggis - when I said silence from Shuster is a good thing, you interpreted that as my being "outraged".
Yet one more example of your extremely poor analysis skills.

Yes, Haggis, it is still funny. Too many people are becoming waaaaaay to sensitive over every little perceived slight. Most of what News Hounds writes is perception. They show a video and then give their views which almost always reflect a bunch of 7th graders havinga circle jerk.
Political correctness run amuck. Pathetic.

I'm looking for video of Chris Wallace's comments about Palin on F&F (I don't think I've missed it here.)
Without hearing, on it's face, Wallace does need to apologize.
Wallace's remarks rate a smile privately (50 lashes with a wet noodle!...) but they weren't professional and shouldn't have been stated publicly.
However, I do reject the notion that finding a member of the opposite sex attractive is demeaning to them in some nonspecfic, nonharrassing way.
I thought that just came naturally.

There's nothing wrong with finding a women attractive....but saying you hope she sits on your lap during an interview is a completely different kettle of fish.

That "quote" calls for a citation.
As best as I can tell Wallace didn't come close to saying that.

I did to go find out what Wallace actually did say.

Haggis is stretching things quite a bit. The reason he does not provide an exact quote, as usual for Haggis, is that Wallace did not say that he hopes she would sit on his lap.
Wallace was asked by Imus is Palin was going to sit on his lap. Wallace's response was "one could hope". Haggis is absolutely full of $#*& when he writes " ....but saying you hope she sits on your lap during an interview is a completely different kettle of fish". Wallace did not say that.
One could hope. Could is not 'definite'. One does not specifically mean Wallace.
He not only did not say he wanted her to sit on his lap, he simply said that "one could hope", and if I am that one, I hope she sits on my lap one day (with the expressed permission from Mr. Palin and Mrs. IM Right of course).
This is about the 40th example of how Haggis has weak analysis skills.

Oh, hell! All Wallace did was to say "One could only hope" after DON IMUS made the comment about her sitting on Wallace's lap during the interview!
My God! You'd think I'd take some sort of clue from sarainitaly!
You need to fact check these anti-FNC idiots if they tell you the sun comes out in the day!

I always have difficulty figuring out why the very people who throw around these small percentage number of FNC viewers per overall population, in such a non-intellectual and unanalytical way, are the very ones who beef about FNC and O'Reilly all day long.
If FNC and its hosts are that incidental to vox populi, then why the hell do they bother with bashing FNC all day long on the internet and playing "Social Justice Internet Troll-Commandos"?

Re: Claman on GMA
I had always had my doubts about Liz Claman chiefly because of Johnny's oft used picture of her in a very tight ugly metallic sweater, looking as though she had her knees stuck up the front of it.
However, I've seen her on Imus and she is delightful! Very funny!

The term should be "undocumented persons"....The reason FNC use the term "illegals" is because it helps to strike fear into their viewers....they'll also play scary music (sometimes) to help emphasize the fear factor.

Yes, Keith did graduate from Cornell in 1979 with a B.S. in communications arts.[

Ya think, FF?
Now I've got it. They're called "illegal aliens" b/c they are citizens of another country and broke our laws coming here!
Those Foxes sure are foxy. I think we should start a petition that from here on out Fox calls them uninvited guests.
Oh dear, do you all think "uninvited" might be too strong even without horror movie music?
I got it now. We'll call them "our most welcome guests".
How dare Fox even think illegal in their sensitive presence, the brutes!

"All I wanted to do was make a meal that everyone would enjoy -- and that I eat myself," NBC cook Leslie Calhoun told The Post last night.
and:
Asked if she understood why some people might find her menu concept offensive, Calhoun said, "I don't understand it at all. It's what I eat."
I agree with Bernie Goldberg who discuessed this with Oreilly tonight
