Glenn Beck’s Guest “Hannah” - “ . . . One Day I Was Jogging After Work And I Saw An Acorn, Um, I Was Like, Hmm, You Know, I’ve Never Seen Them Before, I Don’t Like Them . . . And, Um, I Came Up With The Idea.”
Reported by Julie - September 12, 2009 - 14 comments

WOW!! The bigots, misogynists and race pimps all come out in one post.

I wonder what it is that makes these clown support corrupt organizations?

Little by little, one corrupt action at a time, Acorn is being caught in it's own web of deceit.

A few reflections on the state of American cable news since last year's time in the States: 1. Without the election-driven news, cable news in America has become even less news-oriented and more personality-oriented. 2. Dobbs is an insufferable boor. 3. Olbermann is an insufferable boor. 4. Maddow's show is flat, but her MTP appearance was sensational. She is prepared and tough, in a congenial way. 5.Cooper is developing a real news nose. 6. Smith is FOX's best resource and a solid anchor. 7. Matthews is increasingly erratic. 8. O'Reilly seems to have become more nuanced and balanced. 9. Van Susteren is like a lost puppy dog craving someone to pet her as she replays the same side of the same LP over and over on her tedious show. 10. Beck is becoming highly unstable, a danger to himself and FOX. 11. Hannity is still a Class "A" jerk. 12. Over-all scoring: CNN: B-, MSNBC: C-, FOX: D.

Pat....the grades you assigned to each cable outlet aside (I'm not into the game-playing competition of "I am better than you are" egos of the outlets...bores me to tears) ....I agree with your assessment of the various personalities....

Looks like a fair and balanced view of them IMO....

The good news for us & bad news for Pat is that the cable news ratings reflect the exact opposite of his letter grades. So it goes with self proclaimed cable news experts. Why would we care what Pat Pomeroy thinks about anything regarding Cable news. He earns a well deserved F.

"News" is an operative word in that post, David. FOX has very little news during its day. Smith is about it. Even the updates are as much comment as news. If you like FOX commentary, either because it is well-done or it reflects your own opinions, then that is another matter. As for the news portion of the day, FOX and MSNBC both fail. Miserably.

Absolutely. These clowns go about calling anyone one on Fox racists and other such things simply because they can. They never provide provable or veriviable evidence to back up their assertions.

We are to believe them based totally on their opinion.

It's unfortunate that the tea partiers are making this look partisan by shouting "Glenn Beck"....If they want most of 360 million Americans to tkae them seriously they need to distance themselves from anyone on the extreme right or left.

This just makes them look like hacks. And that is very very unfortunate IMO.

Love that CNN video. It must be killing the suits at CNN that they let Beck go.

How can a person claim that Barack Obama is a "racist" with a "deep-seeded hatred for white people" and not be considered an extremist hatemonger?

This I got to hear.

Ok, so does this now mean that any reference by the News Poodles to Hannity, O'Reilly, Coulter and any number of other Fox people would make the Poodle an extremist hatemonger?

Hey wenchie, are you insinuating that Beck is an extremist?

Would you care to share with us the basis for such an allegation?

I've read the descriptive terms of "thousands" and "huge", has anyone heard anything more definitive on the size of the crowd?

News may be the operative word, but, in my opinion Fox provides plenty of news thoughout the day from Fox & Friends up to the commentary shows that start with Beck at 5pm EST. They always have breaking news cut in's and certainly do a better job than MSNBC regarding special reporting. I just don't agree with the grades you applied to cable news networks & you have not convinced me that they are not a biased promotion of CNN. Seems to me that Headline News is more up your alley, but not the viewing public's choice by a long shot.

Blackflon....It's less of an allegation and more of an observation on my part....You are more than free to differ in your observations....

No sweat off my nose and certainly not worth getting into some back and forth debate that will go no where ...that is happening enough in Washington these days IMO...LOL .... :D

I am surprised at what Mediaite did not mention about CNN's coverage.

I watched a full segment on CNN that covered three related events back to back.

First, there was a long segment covering BHO's stump speech. Standard fare, no surprises there.

That was followed by coverage, in Florida, of the contra grass roots group, organized by the DNC. There were about 50 people under a tent, the vast majority all sporting commercially made identical signs There was a short setup giving the particulars followed by a fairly short interview with an attendee. That was followed by coverage of a segment of the speaker and part of his speech.

At the end the speaker made a remark, and I paraphrase, about BHO's plan is designed to save people and their lives and that the Repubs seem more interested in letting people die. The coverage abruptly ended so I couldn't tell if the reaction that was beginning from the crowd was boos and hisses or approving cheers.

His comment was along the lines that Clinton's Press Secretary, McClarty (?), made at a Press Conference re Hillarycare or Social Security about Repubs just wanted to solve the problem by hoping/helping all the old people died.

Last, and definitely least, they turned to the Tea Party. They switched from a full screen with the anchor doing a voice over to about a 1/3 of the screen frame on the side with a medium range shot and commented meanwhile thousands of people/conservatives (I'm not certain they used this word) protested in Washington...Say goodnight Gracie!

If I didn't know before I sure know now why CNN does not use the motto "Fair and Balanced".

I didn't see anyone discussing a thought that kept recurring for me today. Why did BHO spend all that money (secure travel for POTUS doesn't come cheap) to fly to another state when he could have stayed home, listened to a large group of concerned citizens, maybe even spoken to them via telephone?

I saw one long shot today and it seemed as if the crowd was all around the reflecting pool.

I didn't get a sense of that many people, though, in other views.

Did anyone catch GB talking with Fox anchors in other cities at corresponding 912 events? I was in the kitchen but I thought I heard an estimate in the thousands, maybe ten thousand, at an event in a bedroom community of Chicago.

From Drudge links:

NY Times:
The demonstrators numbered well into the tens of thousands, though the police declined to estimate the size of the crowd.

WaPo:
Tens of thousands of conservative protesters, many complaining that the nation is racing toward socialism, massed outside the U.S. Capitol on Saturday...

Rachel Sklar might not understand Glenn Beck, but it seems that he and Joe Wilson have gotten the WH to make an important concession.

The WH is backing a provision that would require proof that immigrants are here legal before they could access the Democrat's health care plan.

The Dems had already struck down that provision TWICE, as Joe Wilson knew...

According to MSNBC, "Here, the administration also concedes that hospitals would be compensated with public funds for the care of undocumented immigrants."

Thank you Joe Wilson, Glenn Beck, Fox News Channel!

They tried to drown out the MSNBC news person who, interestingly, was black. He nailed it when he said that they didn't seem to have any leadership or unified structure. In other words, a mindless mob!!!! and very, very white.

There was a woman, whose name I do not recall, who was caught on camera saying that "yes, they do show pictures to the Gitmo detainees".

So many lies. So little time.

I think MikeC and Rachel will be getting married soon. The perfect love/hate relationship.

Sweet girl, but she doesn't get out of the city much, and that's her issue. Forget any conservative friends, how many so-called moderate friends does she have?

Yes MikeC, she went into a rant, became unhinged, and went off the rails. But the bottom line is this.

She was watching Beck, not Barry. She doesn't know it, but we got her. LOL!

While I'm talking about all things Manhattan, let me throw this out.

NYC has around 9 million people living in the 5 boroughs. The Manhattan breakdown? I don't know what that is but here's my point.

Time Warner cable line-up for Manhattan:

CNN: Channel 78

FNC: Channel 44

MSNBC: Channel 14

Is anybody catching my drift?
