1) You know that O'Reilly and Stewart have talked before, right?
2) Didn't Stewart's "blazing guns" simply consist of calling Carlson a "d!ck" (or something like that) as the interview was wrapping up? I really hope there was more to it than that, or Stewart's "guns" were more like pea shooters.

No I'm not saying that at all....I can get FNC over here through SKYTV....but it's a paid for service and under no circumstances will I pay for a biased news channel...after all I get it free online. I can't get MSNBC/CNN America over here...I can get these channels online but get a better picture with the dish....I mostly use the dish for European football.

Sadly I'm not a great fan...but many Brits are. I think the BBC will show the super Bowl the following week and one thing has to be said....you Yanks always put on a great show...I'll probably give it a look...but a game that lasts for 1 hour but takes over 3 hours to play...is a bit slow going in my eyes.

I was just over there and Steve K. said he was going to start banning people again. We will see. I like the majority of the writers even if I disagree with them at times.

Hi Puck! Agreed! And see! I think those of us who challenge Glynnis have made her an even better contributer at mediaite. It was almost like she was afraid to say anything positive about Beck...she was surrounded by people who bash him, but I think she found her groove, and has been very fair lately.
And I like when people hold Tommy's feet to the fire when he deserves it.
I like them too, and the site is cool, it was just running the risk of losing a lot of normal people, with that handful of nasties. I shouldn't let them get to me, but I do. grrrr
I have popped into their office hours a couple of times, entertaining.

I had some problems over there, but Steve K stepped in and threatened to ban some of the wackos if they didn't stop. we'll see!! I love sites where I agree with the peeps, but I also like to visit sites like mediaite, and correct their wrongs. Lots of people spreading the misinfo/lies about Beck, etc. and I like to prove them wrong. I also think that correcting the writers and debating them forces them to not just copy/paste typical liberal lies, but also makes them better writers, in the long run. they made some sloppy mistakes just from regurgitating huffpo or media matters, etc. That's what can happen when you are used to people just absoring and agreeing with everything you write, with no challenge. (ok, off my soap box) haha
but man, there were some nasty commenters over there (you know who i'm talking about, i'm sure) They just can't accept the truth when it smacks them in the face.
