The Friends gave me a huuuuge laugh this morning...Last week Gretchen was just outraged at folk not saying Christmas. Then this morning they showed a bit of film from their Christmas party (last Friday). But wait...What did Gretchen call it....Their HOLIDAY party...Oooooooooooops

The fact that someone would get a "huuuuge laugh" over something like that reminds me of a four year old getting a huge laugh when spongebob drops a crabby patty on the ground.
The above post is an example of the haters lack of critical thinking skills. Whatever she did or did not say, they would find something to whine about. They would spew their hate if Gretchen said "Holiday Party" because she did not "toe the line", and they would spew their hate if Gretchen said "Christmas Party" because she did "toe the line".
Either way, a childish observation from the haters.

That's why it really doesn't matter what she said. But around here it matters, because one thing I don't like is people deliberately lying or repeatedly not telling the truth.
So what do you think? Did Gretchen say "Christmas Party" or "Holiday Party"? I know the answer because 1. I saw it, and B. I have the video. The question: is somebody not telling the truth again?!?

BTW baghdAD bob, there is a big difference between someone choosing to refer to something as a "holiday x" rather than a "Christmas x", than it is to be ORDERED to refrain from calling anything a "Christmas x".

Johnny, I'm grateful to you for not tolerating it "when people try to pull this stuff around here".
Otherwise we'd have a blog full of people like this character who would lie at the drop of a hat merely in order to gig people who don't harbor their feelings towards FNC.
AND they'd do it all the while justifying the lie by telling themselves that it isn't REALLLLY a lie, because it's something FNC or FNC staffers are capable of doing, if even they haven't yet...
Goodness knows we are familiar with that mindset from the trolls formerly at OW and the ones who have squatted for awhile here.

I never used the "L" word as I haven't seen the video, however after reading this blog for 4 years now and never having seen J$ post anything that ever even had a hint of something untruthful, then comparing that to baghdAD bob who I've read multiple truth-challenged posts over the past week...yes, you are correct.

I watch Larry every morning 10am UK time (when here) while doing the accounts for my 15 pubs...I can't say I see Nancy on a daily basis...But I do watch clips on her website when they interest me.
MSNBC have come up trumps again...I can now watch Rachel on her newly designed website...as I watch Keith on his website. Why can't you watch FNC shows on their respective websites? FNC appear to be in the dark ages compared to (MS)NBC when it comes to online offerings.

Because you'll never buy a cow if you have a supply of free milk. FNC doesn't want to cannibalize it's #1 viewership by giving away entire shows on the internet. That just lowers viewership on cable. But I suppose if you're a perennial #2 or #3 you want that extra publicity of internet availability to try to scare up some interest. If you're already a loser, there's not much more to lose by trying anything, no matter how desperate.

Let me pipe in with a here here for that Chippy. FNC's site is, IMO, pretty trashed. This site has better design! I'm also disappointed in their not offering full programs for online viewers, even Comedy Central does that.
However, FNC still consistently retains the highest ratings so it's apparently not the most important feature for the general public to have online episodes.

Point understood J$, but I still think that in this day and age FNC as #1 would not lose any viewers if they provided online video of their channel. I know people at work would enjoy having it play in the background while they do their jobs during a time when they can't watch TV.
Full online shows would provide a means for haters to Chipp away at the videos to twist the meanings, but the full context would still be available for seekers of the big picture and honest folks.

Several messages from CM have been denied via moderation. After his smearing of Gretchen Carlson earlier I'm keeping a close eye on him. Tonight he is trying to be a thread hog and is attempting to turn this discussion into his own personal chat room with a string of posts attacking whatever happens to be on Fox at the moment. We are looking for something on a more intellectual level here, and intellect of course begins with telling the truth.

I sadly have to agree with ChippyMinton, about FOX News Channel, not posting full episodes, for free, or even free podcasts of their shows, unlike MSNBC.
However, thanks to Comcrap, and their 250GB cap a month, I think viewing shows online, might be too much for me.
I don't subscribe to Comcrap to see Olbermann, and O'Reilly, however I will not classify how I see both of those shows, all I will tell I view it on satellite, not Directv, but the other satellite provider has a secret that I can't classify.

Well, Chippy doesn't want to admit it, but he is the same guy who came here as HSUK, Haggis Farmer, and maybe several other names. If his style and peculiar obsessions weren't enough to give him away, or his references to his 'pubs', then his habit of flat-out lying about Fox News would also be a good clue.
Example: above he cackles about Gretchen Carlson referring to the F&F "Holiday party". I challenged him on that, because he flat-out made that up. She clearly said "Christmas party", but Haggie insisted he was telling the truth. Of course, I had the proof all along, and am happy to share it now:

So why did Chippy lie about that? Why did he lie about a half-dozen other things when he was here as Haggis? And why did he lie repeatedly about not being Haggis reincarnated? Is it because Fox haters reflexively lie? That's a question for the ages.

I'm sorry that you don't have a clue as to how to open an MP3 file. Link works is correct, it is an audio file, mp3 just as it says in the link. Open it with quicktime, it will sound great!
But you should really listen to it, it proves you were, as usual, wrong about something, in this case, the Gretchen comment.
