I went with the top 3-rated shows on each cable channel. You can always vote Ed as an 'other'.

That was a fairly easy choice for me, Johnny, because just today I had to watch a clip of my must-miss choice's show (in order to verify a comment he made) and I thought I'd have to pull out all my toenails in order to stand it.

I can't put MSNBC in at this point because they seem to be getting close to full meltdown mode, some of the stuff is pretty funny to watch now. Keith is getting real close to the edge folks! You can't walk out on the movie now!
For me Hannity wins because the last time I watched, Colmes was still co-hosting.

Puck, Colmes hasn't been on since January. I appreciated the alternate opinions but Colmes wasn't the right fit. Hannity needed some eye candy with brains to debate him, not someone who looks like they stepped out of the painting The Scream.
Since I'd rather be intrigued than bored, I had to choose Larry King. That guy is an insomniac's godsend.

I agree with Fox Fan... even though I find most f the MSNBC guys insufferable... at least that in and of itself is worth something. I can watch it, to see what kind of misinformation they're passing off today.
But King... no thanks. If I'm going to spend that much time with an octogenarian... I'd rather be (a) related to them, or (b) volunteering to keep them company in "the home." I don't watch train wrecks, and I don't watch King.

Let me just say CNN wins over Hannity by default, It just seems if I'm in an Airport or a Dunkin' Doughnuts. The TV is on CNN.
I've been a Colmes fan since the old WEVD days. He's not like the other radio libs that repeat the same old line and are just nasty. And for that, his own side tries to eviscerate him for it.
Hannity? I guess this is spill over from the radio show. I prefer to listen to Jerry Doyle at that time, I'm much more into that Conservative mind set.
Eye Candy? What I miss in the nine o'clock hour can be pretty much made up in the other 23 hours on FNC. But that's a great point when compaired to MSNBC.
Hannity & Kirstin Powers? or Olby and Maxinne Waters? LOL!!!!!

I always thought Kirsten would be a good eye candy cohost for Hannity, but I'm not sure she has the in-your-face mentality that Hannity needs to really keep him in check.
Eye candy aside (and yes, you're right that it's more than made up for in the other shows), I think Marc Lamont Hill would be a great Colmes replacement. I'm afraid Hannity would be too much for even that fast talker... Hannity and Olby. Now that would be a treat.

The just had a ad for Fox Nation.....I think it was great...they had allot of on-air people....I think its the best ad Ive seen all year.
I may have to check Fox Nation out.
Oh and thanks to the longest line ever at Walmart.....and I once worked there....I missed Fox News Watch AGAIN!
I voted for Hardball.....I tried to watch his show just last week and I couldnt take it for more than 10min......to far to the left for me......and since Im a Democrat who voted for Obama....you know it had to be bad since I used to love Hardball. I now understand why Beck crushes it everyday.

Notwithstanding Puck's rationale I simply CAN NOT even make myselk watch KO.
I used too check out selected clips and now I can't even stomach that for a few minutes. I would try Mike's method, watching the clip with the sound muted, but why would I only want to sufer some when I can avoid it completely.
My Mama loved BOR so we never missed him. Colmes was another story.
If I was in the kitchen when BOR ended and she saw the beginning of H & C she was all over me like white on rice to "Turn the channel. I can't stand that guy with the eyebrow. He reminds me of Mephisto!"
You know, she never would tell me how she knew what Mephisto looked like.

Johnny, I think this meets your criteria but I'm not completely sure..
From News Busters
"Your Taxes at Work: Max Blumenthal Promotes New Book Saying GOP Based on Sadomasochism, Child Abuse"
Max Blumenthall, Sid Blumenthall's son I think, has written a book based on the thesis that conservatives and Repulicans have been sadistically abused as children which has caused them personally and their political philosophy to be based on sadomasochism and that is why we all abuse the weak of society. WQe have been trained and honed into an army of vicious thugs.
I have no doubt that the comment below will be proven to be spot on, if KO manages to stave off his break down long enough.

So even Fox News fans think Glenn Beck is bad? He's second worst only behind Olbermann?
Can you wonder why normal people don't like him?

Sounds like the haters joined the poll to me.
I have to wonder how 1ftr can speak for "normal" people?

2, no, 3 things:
1. How did you come to the conclusion that only "Fox News fans" took part in the poll?
2. How does "must-MISS" translate to "bad" or "second worse?"
3. Can you wonder why anyone who proclaims to be interested in honest discourse would ask the loaded, false premise, crap sandwich question, "Can you wonder why normal people don't like him?"

+1 for Richard's question. +3 for ramjet. That makes it -34tr.

You are right.
1. I'm sorry to jump to the conclusion that it was a Fox Fan survey.
2. So I have to assume that Olbermann's CountDown is a show that everyone wants to see.
3. I again want to appologise for the loaded, false premise (yes crap sandwich) question about Glenn Beck. I really am interested in honest discourse but some of the things Glenn Beck has come up with lately would make me seem like a complete idiot if I asked for an honest debate.
(The art work at Rockefeller Center? Do you really want to debate that? It's like debating Lou Costello about who's on first.)
I am willing to humble myself but I am not willing to whore myself. And I doubt that you are either.

Sorry, I had to leave for a bit to feed the kids and make sure their homework was done and get them into bed.
You know, all those things us Elitists with a high school education have to do. But at least my wife doesn't have to worry about that.
