Re: "Crawford explains": So, in professional wrestling terms, he was a heel, then I briefly thought he made a face turn, but it's really a feel turn. Maybe he'd prefer NPR?

Hey, Ellen good to see you again too.
You have so many admirers that perhaps this will remind you who I am.
I am the lady that you referred to as "IT" as opposed to she. At first I felt somewhat insulted, even hurt.
Not to worry, though, as I am not only completely over it but have since learned that you were actually being complimentary and including me in your very own family.
When you and Johnny had that little contretemps about the copy righted picture of you that he had used in the right hand rail he very quickly acceded to your demand and removed it to be replaced with the current picture.
It is that current picture that opened my eyes to the great honor you bestowed upon me by referring to me as "IT". That picture clearly demonstrates that you are part of a long line of "ITS" and only meant to demonstrate love and affection for me.
That is what you meant, right Ellen?

Hmmmmmm the last time I stopped by your place (and I was behaving myself on topic and all the rest) out of the blue, you told me to go away. I haven't been back since. And no, I don't use sockpuppets.
But then maybe that was another Ellen B.

To the real Ellen Brodsky:
I notice that you now have a thread in your public forum that contains some of your rebuttals to Johnny. Why not post them here, and let Johnny respond? You have always been allowed to post here, but Johnny, other dollar regulars, including myself, have not been able to post at your site. To me, that suggests significant cowardice on your part and that you are frightened of a free and open debate.
Why the fear? What do you have to hide?

Craig Crawford strafes MSNBC; Chris Matthews expressly, Olbermann olibiquely, and THEN says he's "just tired" of cable?
That poor chortling chump must have seen his entire career flash before his eyes.

I guess Crawford was thinking that FNC would be waiting for him at the front door with open arms and a blank check.
Oh well

To me the interesting point about Crawford's little post was his mention that he's going to stay off the airwaves until his contract runs out in three months. That suggests to me that he did arrange to be on F&F Monday, but MSNBC got wind of it and refused to let him appear (they still own his tv appearances until the contract runs out). So rather than breach the contract and make all sorts of trouble for himself, Crawford just bowed out of the F&F slot. At least until he is out of MSNBC jail.

Well Johnny if we went with your train of thought on this one Crawford gets: 3 months paid vacation. Can start at FNC or CNN after June 1st (just when the mid terms will start crankin').
Wouldn't exactly call that jail, I would call that Bahamas here I come!

I couldn't think of that perfect phrase that would be made for Crawford.

I'd rather have him chortling on FNC than anywhere else, but he doesn't want that. I still suggest NPR.

Dittos, Danny.
We have to wait until June to find out what room where Michael found himself at the end of Thursday's episode.
I don't think I can stand much more anticipation between that and Johnny"s FHWIR.

Since I watch Burn Notice on Hulu, you may be further along than me. The last show that I watched the psycho got killed and now Michael has an even worse enemy. I am anticipating the season finale, which you have probably already seen.
Since my favorite show, THE LEGEND OF THE SEEKER, will probably cease production (darn I really hate that), Burn Notice may be my favorite show Well along with DANCING WITH THE STARS.
You're right we have a lot to anticipate, don't we? I can hardly wait for the next FHWR.
Do you suppose that Johnny will have anything to say about Newhounds? I wonder.

I'm just one episode in front of you. I'm glad I didn't say more that might spoil the very final scence for you. The whole episode was great. It went by so fast I felt like it only lasted 5 minutes.

Hey, Johnny, I just saw this comment by Ellen Brodsky in your very own homage thread dedicated to you:
"And speaking of cowardice, Julie invited Mark Koldys/Johnny Dollar to debate her this week on the radio. I don't believe she has received a response yet. Who's really the big chicken?
Posted by: Ellen on Sat 3.6 11:43pm"

What's up? I haven't seen you mention it here and there is nothing more than that one sentence from "it" (H/T Ellen).
Thanks.

Yes I did hear from the other JD about a possible phone-in on a radio show she will be co-hosting. It was a pleasant, civilized exchange. I didn't call her a plagiarist, and she didn't call me a coward or a chicken for declining this particular offer. Leave it to Brodsky to toss the first stinkbomb about it.

I'm surprised then that the kennel hasn't given Julie's actually co-hosting a radio program at least one big shoutout. I'm sure a lot of her readers would be interested in all the details so they could tune in if possibe.
I know I would if you were doing so. Maybe we will get some particulars from them later on b/c I would like to listen if I can.
Thanks.

Dear Danny,
Actually, the last time I tried to post at J$, I could not. It seemed I had been banned. Several of our readers have found that they have been banned, too.
But the fact of the matter is that J$ is not interested in dialogue but in smearing us. Period. As are you.
So you can make all the accusations in the world against us - and I have no doubt that you will continue to do so under one name or another. But the reason you were banned from here is your obnoxious, trollish behavior. And I see you haven't changed.
And speaking of cowardice, Julie invited Mark Koldys/Johnny Dollar to debate her this week on the radio. I don't believe she has received a response yet. Who's really the big chicken?

Dear Ellen,
I have seen you post several times at Dollars; the last time being quite recently. I have never seen Dollar ask you to leave. I have seen Dollar patiently bear with people who repeatedly broke the rules and yet he refused to ban them. Sometmes he has been more patient than I would like. So who am I supposed to believe? you or my lying eyes?
I mispoke when I indicated that I was not able to access you site. I have never tried to get on you site and was not able to get in. The last time, however, that I accessed you site I was having a nice intellectual conversation and you butted in and, because you were mad that I wrote to Google saying that you are not a news site, you asked me to leave.
I deny that I have been trollish on your site. In fact many times I have turned the other cheek, knowing that my comments would be deleted if I responded in kind to the trolls on your site. I have said that nobody on your site knows how to carry on an intellectual debate. I admit that I overstated, but not by much. Bemused knows how to carry on a debate without resorting to personal attacks. I totally disagree with bemused on just about everything, but I have respect for him, and I have enjoyed debating him. Although it was frustrating when you mods would delete my posts and not delete his when we were talking civilly about the same subject. Yaki and notveryhow are also capable sometimes of an honest intellectual debate.
However, 99% of the people on your site are trolls, by most common definition of trolls. John T heads the list. They think that the way to rebut someone is to attack them personally. Though notveryhow thinks that your site is truthful (and I don't) he does concede that the mains are pretty rough. If you banned all the trolls from your site you would not have very many people left.
Now you tell me that you have banned me. Then, what was the purpose of inviting me back to your site. Are you trying to turn over a new leaf? Or are you just being deceitful one more time and saying stuff that you know to be untrue and that you don't really mean?

Hello, all -- Julie from News Hounds here. Dollar and I did have a civilized email exchange, and though he declined my offer this time, I hope in the future there will be a mutually agreeable forum for us to debate. One of the commenters here expressed an interest in the radio show, so . . . anyone who is interested in hearing the radio show can live stream it here http://www.whpk.org/, tomorrow, Monday, 3-5. As I pointed out to Mr. Dollar, I have no interest in either commenting anonymously or backing and ducking -- anything I say out there, I'll say here, as well, and throw myself in the marketplace of debate. Civility is not a bad concept.

Hi...it's my show - The Stonecipher Report - that Julie has appeared on before and will be co-hosting this afternoon (Mon., 3-08). We're on the air in Chicago, so it will be 3 - 5 PM Central time today, available streaming live online at whpk.org. Hope any curious listeners can tune in...although - gentle (with a knowing smile) warning - we, like Julie, are unapologetically Liberal and will be only "Fair and Balanced" in that direction! But...hey, we always try to be entertaining, as well as informative...

Hello, Michael, thanks for the message.
I am going to do my best to tune in. However, I do have one question for you:Exactly what do you mean by this.
"we, like Julie, are unapologetically Liberal and will be only "Fair and Balanced" in that direction! "
Gentle warning that your Liberalism will result in specifically what? I've never heard you on air so have no basis upon which to judge you and your show.
I have, however, read a great deal at NH and even sometimes commented and I can testify that some commenters and some principals at the site don't just debate an opposing conservative view but attack the messenger like crazed ninjas on a religious mission.
Thanks.

Thanks - hope you can listen. No, we're issue oriented...well-tuned wonks, not attack-oriented (although, we would like to see OUR major party grow a pair and "fight" back - rhetorically as well as with action - more often, rather than wring hands and mumble "Well, we tried..."). So, you may disagree with the content and philosophy of my writing and broadcasts, but...we'd like to think that anyone could at least (even grudgingly) respect the thought, effort, and career-long professionalism that goes into it all.
This afternoon, 3 - 5PM Central, The Stonecipher Report, whpk.org (or 88.5 FM in Chicago), with Michael Sweeney and special co-host, Julie Driscoll - be there, Aloha!
