Nice. I caught the tail end of that last night and was afraid I had missed a good one. I suppose at least for a moment Mr. Cooper got what he really wanted for Christmas: to be on a real news network :p

Cooper is a talented guy who's getting no viewers. Under My Government, FNC would hire Cooper and put him on midnight to 2:00 am to do a more informal news-and-talk show. Fresh, live programming into the AM hours!

Yeah, I could see him doing that. He has an easy-going personality that would be well-suited for late-night news wind-downs. Also has covered the tsunami pretty well. But I agree, his career is stuck while he's at CNN, that's just reality.

To the person who mentioned that no one watches 360. - I think you really need to do some research before embarrasing yourself next time. Many, and i mean many people watches the show. That was one of the reasons why CNN made Anderson in charge of the New Years eve show and why his show was extended because of the Tsunami. Many people trust Anderson in many kinds of news.

Yes, many people do trust Anderson C. Just not that many watch him. His hour is the only hour where CNN actually falls to third place behind MSNBC. He deserves better.

I don't know about you but that's like nearly half a year ago. Things can change in a matter of weeks, or rather days you know.

And the article didn't say anything about Anderson having bad ratings. It only claimed that 'Hardball" beats him by some factors. I just want to prove your statement about no one watching the show.

You can see the ratings for 2004 here. You'll find that Hardball edges out Cooper in last year's total ratings.

I'm not saying he's literally not getting a single viewer. I mean, just the people in the control room constitute viewers. But when you're the only show on CNN that gets beat by A-Mess-NBC, for crying out loud, you are not exactly thriving.

At least AC actually has some wit and is funny, unlike these "Fox & Friends" losers.

Fox & Friends has more than twice as many viewers at 7:00 in the morning than Anderson gets in primetime. I guess that tells us who's the loser.

So? Cooper is a talented journalist and a smart guy. I was just pointing out that guffawing and patting themselves on the back for what is a really lame prank (I mean, it's no stuffed raccoon, but this was the best they could come up with?) is dumb. If "Fox and Friends" is so great, then I guess this was beneath them.

Hey, I never said he wasn't talented. Did you read the comments before yours? I'm saying he deserves better. I mean, when more people see you because of Fox's prank than see you on your own broadcast, then you are not being utilized very effectively.

Sorry Bill, I have never removed a post just because it offers a correction to my blog. Now THAT is an outright lie.

Also, according to the pdf none of the CNN shows you list were beat by MSNBC. In each case the CNN show had more viewers than the MSNBC show opposite it. So you're simply wrong, seven times.

All that said, I AM going to remove your comment, not because it makes a correction (it doesn't--your facts are wrong) but because you violated one of our rules for posting. Either you read the rules and deliberately violated them just to get your message deleted, or you didn't bother to read them in the first place. In either case, your post is history. You're free to re-post without the offending language.
