'It Will Be a Thing of History'

J$P Instant Transcript! The Amazing Kreskin peers into 2006.

From Heartland, December 31 2005:

JOHN KASICH [FOX NEWS]: The New Year is just a few hours away, and now we arrive at the moment that we've all been waiting for. The future revealed, right here on Heartland. The Amazing Kreskin joins me now to talk us--talk us to, talk to us about things to come in '06. I'm so excited I can't even introduce you right, Kreskin.

THE AMAZING KRESKIN: You know John, in an hour from now I'm going be out watching that ball, which I'll think of as the crystal ball, come down with Fox, and do a dramatic demonstration influencing people.

KASICH: Well we're going to watch that; we're going to watch that.

KRESKIN: But you are special; you're a special guy. I like you.

KASICH: All right, I got a bunch of things to run through. Let's start with Bin Laden. We going to get him in '06?

KRESKIN: You know why I can explain this? People should realize they've known me as a thought reader, if they saw me on tv shows picking people's thoughts up. But I spent five years in the Middle East. Put yourself in a rowboat in the middle of the ocean where you can't see any land. Then you'll understand being in the desert in the Middle East, how vast and lonely this area is. No, we're not going to find him. I said it for three years, John. I don't think we stand a chance for finding him for the next year and a half, really.

KASICH: Very interesting. All right, how about this war. Everybody's talking about what's going to happen in '06. Mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, husbands and wives, wanting their loved ones to come home. What are we going to see?

KRESKIN: The only thing we ever learn, of course, we've said it before, from history, John, is we never learn from history. This is a war that should be no surprise. The longest wars in history have been religious wars, and this war, in my opinion, has been coming for 30 years. Easily 30 years. I think our men will be coming home, a lot of them, and hopefully sooner, in the next four, six years. But as far as the length of the war, John, I mean, you've got to think in terms of possibly decades. But this should be no surprise. We have to look at things realistically.

KASICH: Kreskin, there's a very interesting one you here you have, it's linked to terrorism. You said we're going to have more UFO sightings, and somehow it's linked to terrorism. What's that all about?

KRESKIN: The enemy understands how to manipulate human behavior. They've taken headlines that we created, or politicians have created, and sent them around the world. You start a buzz by word of mouth, and you can create a rumor that can go on for decades. There's a new vehicle for UFO sighting. Not somebody seeing a UFO in the sky at night. Too many people have cameras, and the press and the investigators are going to say, well if you saw UFOs, why didn't your friend take a picture? People are going to start getting "messages" from aliens on their cellphones, and the manipulation of cellphones I think is going to be a very unique terrorist device. That's all I can say.

KASICH: That's very interesting. What about the future of this guy down south, not too far from where I am in Davie, Florida? His name is Castro, Fidel Castro. What kind of '06 is he going to have?

KRESKIN: Well, historically--and again I'm a thought reader, I'm not a political authority--historically, the most powerful governments have always been dictatorships because they've been so controlled. But they've also fallen apart rapidly. When Castro falls, either because of death or what have you, I'm completely convinced his son will not take over. It will be in shambles, but the military, because of a vacuum, will fill in. Not the Castro dynasty. That will be a thing of history.

KASICH: All right Kreskin, one last thing and quickly. Big music scandal coming, you say. What's it going to be?

KRESKIN: Long overdue. And we're the suckers. Illusionists, we're illusionists, because if you expose a magic illusion, well that hurts the magic. But the sadness is going to be, God forbid the day, maybe it's overdue, that the American public suddenly realizes that we're watching a very famous singer, a very famous performer, that half the orchestra, or three-fourths of the orchestra, is not even playing. That they're actually faking, and there is no music coming out, because the singer could never sing that way without electronic help. So they have to use the original recording. That to me is the dumbing of entertainment.

KASICH: That's very interesting. Well we saw it with Milli Vanilli, I think that was their names, and of course old Ashlee Simpson doing that, not actually doing the singing. Kreskin, it's always a pleasure to see you; it's always a pleasure to hear from you. Wishing you the best, healthy '06. Thanks for being with us.

KRESKIN: And I foresee that for you also.
