The problem is that *some people* have already surrendered. It IS possible to have a free and democratic Iraq, but with *some people* tossing wrenches in the gears at every opportunity (recently exemplified with the "non-binding resolution") the chances are greatly reduced. Our efforts there are noble, a positive trait that is obviously lost on *some people*.

The elections, contrary to what Geraldo said, were not a referendum on the war. Voters cited corruption, not the war, as their biggest annoyance.

Your ignorance isn't my problem.

Good thing for you that you don't have to hear what they have to say that often, since Estrich only writes a column for the website and practically never appears on television anymore, and H&C only have Republicans as regulars for solo interviews, i.e. Dick Morris, Ann Coulter and Newt Gingrich (just tonight for Morris, in fact, two separate segments).

Fox News liberals? LoL. I bet you can count them on one hand. You need a phonebook for Fox News conservatives.

Your poll has an error margin of +/- total irrelevance.

Nice try skirting Ira's point. It was the fact that all leftist politicians and the leftist media took the November elections as a referendum on the war. Your 3:54 post is null and void.

Polls all showed the same results. Go look them up yourself. If you don't know that already you're fairly ignorant and shouldn't be commenting on politics. The war in Iraq was the second biggest issue.

But what's the point is arguing with someone who is so breathtakingly stupid that he believes Bill O'Reilly is an "independent" and anything other than a partisan right-wing Republican.

The polls are useless compared to much larger statistics. What is the #1 topic on ANY politically oriented site? Not just in the articles, but in the comments made by millions of real people. Almost all debates end up at the same place. The war.

You could partisanly spin that the war is the result of "corruption" to add to your numbers, but the war is still the central issue.

Compared to you Tom, O'Reilly is a far-left SP.

As for Cadell, he supported Dean for President. If you say he didn't, you're a liar. The comments you quote from him are from Dean's post-election run as DNC Chairman. Cadell did NOT support him for DNC Chairman, for strategic reasons.

So you tell me how someone who backs Dean for President is not a liberal. And try to do it wthout lying or citing proven liars as your "proof".

No, Caddell quit being a liberal in 2004 about halfway through the election, after Dean lost. He spent all of his time attacking Democrats and kissing up to Republicans. He's not a liberal. And no, endorsing a candidate DOES NOT Make you either a liberal or a conservative. That's like saying that because Rudy Guiliani endorsed Bush in 2004, that's he a conservative, and something makes me doubt you will buy that. No, what makes someone liberal or conservative on the issues.

Caddell is conservative on the issues of homosexual marriage/rights, Schiavo, the war in Iraq, etc...

Likewise, Powers is pro-life, anti-stem cell research, opposed the Schiavo decision (which puts her to the right of 80% of the American people)

She's a conservative weasel and Malkin's little pet Democrat. She even does videos with Malkin on Hot Air.com If a so-called Republican on MSNBC did videos with Daily Kos, you'd claim he was a fake.

And you'd be right.

Oh, by the way, Johnny, you can now take down your site. Rupert Murdoch has ADMITTED that Fox News ran propaganda for Bush's leadup to the Iraq invasion.

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/content_display/business/news/e3i96671211ab370128cc4b4c4eb880c08c

Asked if his News Corp. managed to shape the agenda on the war in Iraq, Murdoch said: "No, I don't think so. We tried." Asked by Rose for further comment, he said: "We basically supported the Bush policy in the Middle East..

Gotta love it. Transparently admitting that he's a whore for the Bush administration, and then trying to weasel out of it by saying, "We're criticized the execution..." which is like saying, "We're Republican, we support Republican initiatives, we're just mad because they're not putting enough effort into it".

Pathetic.

I wonder where these quotes come from?

"No goal, no objective, not until we have those things and a compelling case is made, then I say, back out of it, because innocent people are going to die for nothing. That's why I'm against it."

During the lead-up to the War

"Why should one U.S. airman give up his life when our national security is not in imminent danger?"

On Hitler analogies...
"My question to you is from all reports that I have been able to dig up, 2,000 killed in Kosovo in the last year. We keep hearing the president refer genocide, ethnic cleansing, comparisons to Adolf Hitler. Is the president purposefully using propaganda and hyperbole to garner the American public for support?"

There's no exit strategy...
"But if you know - every mistake we've made up to this point, there's no stated goal. There's no definition of success. All these important things. There's no exit strategy. One mistake after another. Why would you go in deeper when we have not been successful up to this point? That seems to me to be folly."

Sure he's a bad guy...but that doesn't mean we should go to war...

"he's a bad guy. He's an evil man. Horrible things are happening. I agree with that. Is Bill O'Reilly then saying we go to Rwanda, Burundi, Somalia, Sudan? Where does this stop? And when you look at sheer numbers, 2,000 -- and I'm not minimizing death. It's horrible. What this man is doing with ethnic cleansing is abhorrent, but sheer numbers -- 2,000 killed in the last year versus hundreds of thousands, millions in some cases in other parts of the world. Are you saying the United States should go to all those places?"

EVERYONE of those quotes was made by a certain SEAN HANNITY. Why, pray tell, is he saying the exact opposite things now? Simple, then there was a democrat in the white house, and now there's a republican. You are all idiots, and soooooo hypocritical. Everything that you convservatives are griping and calling democrats " traitors" about, you said and did the same exact thing all the way back in 1999...

By the way, Fox Fan, you're essentially admitting your previous position was assinine, and your argument is irrelevant in light of the fact that Hannity has never apologized nor denounced his previous positions. If he did, then you could make the argument. Since he hasn't, he's contradicting himself, not simply changing his position on the issue, he's trying to have it both ways. Hence, he's a liar, and you're his little mouthpiece who can't even get the facts right.

1.) You're supporting Bruce's claim that she's a liberal
2.) You lied, claiming that Bill O'Reilly never said she was a liberal. He did: http://hotair.com/archives/2007/02/21/video-tammy-bruce-responds-to-bill-mahers-hateful-rhetoric/

So you lied, O'Reilly lied and Bruce pathetically lied while contradicting herself. O'Reilly is a right-wing partisan hack, Bruce is a right-wing hack and Fox News is pure propaganda, lying through its teeth and substiting ex-Democrats-turned-Republicans for "Democrats" and then claiming that it is somehow balanced. Notice how that works?

"Alright folks, because we're fair and balanced, we'll bring on both sides. First, our Republican, Dennis Miller"
"I hate Democrats"

"Next, our liberal-Democratic friend, Tammy Bruce"
"I hate Democrats"

Christ you people are pathetic. A person would have to honestly be breathtakingly stupid at this point to believe Fox News presents both sides.

Another lie. He can't quote me back on this either. Why don't you, Tom? Point out to everyone where I wrote this "lie" about what O'Reilly said. Oh, what's that? You can't? Of course not, because, just like your first effort, you just made it up.

Tom has a problem telling the truth--he's made up two quotes from me that I never said just over the last 24 hours. So I hereby give our clear-headed readers permission to ignore and refrain from responding to any more of the misquotes, falsehoods, and lies from Truthless Tom.

I will entertain one response from Tom. It's the question I've asked him repeatedly and has has ignored every time. Hey Tom, what did I win in that bet you made me? Biography:
"Tammy Bruce is an openly gay, pro-choice, gun owning, pro-death penalty, voted-for-President Bush authentic feminist. A lifelong Democrat, in the 1990s she worked to help elect Senators Feinstein and Boxer, and aided the Clinton for President campaign. Before we knew he was a sexual compulsive and "did not have sexual relations with that woman."

She was drawn into feminist activism in the late 1980's to contribute to the ongoing effort to ensure safe and legal abortion for all women, and with a special interest in ending international subjugation of women. Just two years after joining the National Organization for Women, with a brand of feminism that places her somewhere between Donna Reed and Thelma and Louise, Ms. Bruce was elected president of the Los Angeles chapter of NOW at the age of 27.

The youngest ever to achieve that position, she doubled the chapter's membership from 2,000 to 4,000 within a year with issue campaigns that introduced a fresh view of feminist activism. In her seven years as president (1990-1996, the longest continuous tenure in the chapter's 30 year history) she mobilized activists locally and nationally on a whole range of issues, including women's image in media, child care, health care, violence against women, economics, and domestic violence. Ms. Bruce also served two years as a member of the National NOW Board of Directors."

I though this lady was a conservative from the way you've protrayed her. With two clicks I find that she's a moderate democrat. Of course to a far out socialist democrat such as yourself, moderate democrats are as bad as Bush. The one point you've been trying to make this entire time is bogus, Tom. Keep the jokes coming, the crowd here loves you!
