The Dems have decided to end this ridiculous arrangement with Fox, so it looks like you've lost. March 9, 2007, 6:23:28 PM EST – Like – Reply Puck Oh Tom! Is this what the mutts sent you "The bucket carrier" over here with today? I love this! You come over here with some tripe from your girls and then you come back with. "You don't have a defense!" Maybe John is out on the golf course, it was a nice day. I didn't know the mutts were so easy to impress, let me brush up on my P.T. Barnum. Tom the topic of the day was John Edwards pandering to the fringe kook left, what your list has to do with that is beyond me but, I realize your just a 'bucket carrier'. FNC driving fringe kooks wild for over ten years! But Tom and the Mutts have figured this all out. What took you guys so long? A little slow? Wait let me correct myself, the mutts. Your just the 'Bucket Carrier'. So look I want you to go back to the doghouse and give the mutts a little homework assignment, ready? Between CNN & MSNBC name me ten conservatives or republicans that host shows over there. Now I know this will take you all weekend. So you don't have to come up with the answer till Monday. Which should take you at least that long. Bark!!!!!! And you know what Tom just to show you I'm your friend I'll give you one so the mutts just have to come up with nine. Ready? Joe Scarborough Have a sniffin' good weekend I'm heading to the mountains. March 9, 2007, 7:28:40 PM EST – Like – Reply Tom Actually, I don't even read Newshounds, so you can stop with the pointlessly references. "So look I want you to go back to the doghouse and give the mutts a little homework assignment, ready? Between CNN & MSNBC name me ten conservatives or republicans that host shows over there." See here folks? This is a CLASSIC diversionary tactic. Essentially he's admitting that Fox News is pure Republican propaganda, but simply complaining, "YEAH WELL CNN IS BIASED TOO!!!!" I'm sorry, you lose the argument. You basically admitted you lost the argument. Like I've said before, CNN could be run by communists for all that I care. This ain't about CNN, you little weasel. This is about FOX NEWS. And Fox News is Republican PROPAGANDA, and the political leanings of OTHER organizations don't change that. March 9, 2007, 7:59:39 PM EST – Like – Reply Fox Fan This whole Edwards thing is going to backfire on him badly in the public eye. Not only are he and the other detractors scared of unscripted debate, they can't POSSIBLY cope with a single fair and balanced conversation. Hence his surrender to MoveOn, who was the instrumental entity in getting him to leave the debate with a petition from their far-left followers. His campaign manager immediately posted the announcement on the anti-American hate site DailyKos. Edwards is a loon who is simply postured make another democratic candidate look moderate. March 9, 2007, 11:51:00 PM EST – Like – Reply Bob Ross Fox I hardly call Fox "fair and balanced" tell me out of all the stations Ann Coulter had to run to after her faggot comment which one did she choose? Fox. She knows fox would pander to her just as they pander to other right wing fringe kooks. Add Tucker Carlson to Tom's list. Lets look at this from another angle. How many actual Liberal Hosts does fox have? Colmes doesn't count as he is co-hosting. How many actual Liberal hosts does fox allow to have their own show? How often did Fox mention the whole Walter Reid scandal? Its not even on the front page of their website. How about the US Attorney firings? Another silent story not mentioned on their front page. How about you point to occassions where the liberal/conservative guests were equal and you might have a chance there. I've seen the same problem on other stations where Conservatives greatly outnumbered actual liberal guests. March 11, 2007, 3:02:00 PM EDT – Like – Reply Puck Well Bob than you can't count Hannity can you? Or can you count Colmes when Hannity is off and a fill in is on? Why should I even bring up Conservatives on FNC when you people don't even give Alan Colmes any respect! Gee Tom Looks like I keep throwing out the dung and you keep steppin' right in it! I just asked a question, I guess since nobody can give me an answer, thats okay. Silence proves my point. Now Bob, I don't care what channel you want to watch CNN, MSNBC, FNC. It doesn't matter. The 'Bucket Carrier' for the mutts laid out ten names and I asked him to give me ten names between two channels. Okay, give me five names between two channels. Here I'll help you again. CNN: Tom whathis name from texas just signed on. MSNBC: Scarborough, Calson. There Tom,I don't care if they are hosts or reporters or their the janitors working there. You ask the mutts to give me two conservative names. I helped you out and gave you three. Oh and gee Tom since your buddy Kucinich came out against the Dems pulling out of The Nevada Debate, does that make him a Republican? Oh and this time think before you type, It's been twice in a row that Johnny has showed you just painted yourself in a corner. So Tom I'm going to keep calling you the "Bucket Carrier" for the mutts because you've been caught twice!!! Oh! and John Edwards? stick a fork in him because he's done!!! March 11, 2007, 8:48:21 PM EDT – Like – Reply Puck Oh Tom I just forgot this, you said you don't care if CNN is run by Commies. I guess your okay with Comies having free air time but any Conservatives, get them off the air. Okay Tom do you know once again how foolish you made yourself look again! So can we get this straight. The Mutts and you are not for free speech. Let's see Commies running CNN? no problem! Liberals running MSNBC? No Problem! Conservatives on FNC? New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Denver, Houston, Tom & The Mutts have a problem. Do you know how silly you sound? March 11, 2007, 8:57:50 PM EDT – Like – Reply Bob Ross Puck now you're running the train off the tracks. Do you honestly believe Colmes is the headliner there? Hannity runs the show and even if we didn't count hannity that wasn't the point. Where are all the liberals? You're making a claim about how biased other cable news shows are but when it comes to the inverse you get yourself in a tizzy. "You people?" It's awfully convenient of you to lump everyone into the same category there Puck and once again you obviously missed the point. I wasn't downplaying Colmes in any bit. I was just talking about the lack of Liberal hosts having their own show on Fox News. I don't see what point you're trying to make to Tom puck other than to point out that the other stations seem more balanced than say Fox News. At least conservative hosts with their own shows can be found on the other networks. Show me Liberal hosts with their own shows on the Fox News channel. Puck stop making red herrings. I did not see Tom's point being that he has a problem with conservatives being on the air. I think his problem was that Fox News claims fair and balanced and yet they have a tendency to give conservatives more of a voice than liberals or moderates. Also how many networks do you know of had one of its bureau chiefs state that their network is: "a network sympathetic to the Bush cause and popular with Republicans" March 11, 2007, 11:14:01 PM EDT – Like – Reply Ira Bob: OK, here is the real deal straight from the keyboard of yours truly. And my view does not necessarily reflect the opinions of the management of this website or its participants: When compared to other American networks (and since you and/or Tom may be foreigners, I'll kindly spell them out) CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, PBS, NPR, Pacifica, Bloomberg,Telemundo and maybe a few hundred more) Fox News Channel sometimes gives the appearance of being slightly to the right in the US political spectrum." Is everybody happy now? To quote KC and the Sunshine Band: "That's The Way I Like It" I'm now leaving to watch "Hannity's America!" Good night everybody. March 12, 2007, 12:12:43 AM EDT – Like – Reply Bob Ross Ira, Thanks for being honest. I think the problem most people have is that Fox News uses the slogan fair and balanced while at the same time skewing to the right their news. I've seen them totally skip big say for instance the lack of the dems taking back the senate on their website while all the other news organizations reported it. Even if the other news organizations were slanting to the left at least they're not pretending to be "fair and balanaced" March 12, 2007, 5:40:00 PM EDT – Like – Reply Fox Fan Hello Bob- I think you missed Ira's point. The key phrase was "When compared to other American networks...". When compared to the aforementioned networks, Fox IS moderate! The problem isn't Fox being hard core right wing, it's that the perception of the populace is skewed in itself as a result of constant exposure to bash-conservative networks. Just part of being a product of your environment. -FF March 12, 2007, 6:38:55 PM EDT – Like – Reply Bob Ross Actually Fox fan if you're going to imply something is slightly right of other networks that would mean the other networks were closer to the center. Chances are that's not what Ira meant to say but that's the way it came out. If the other networks were say as unabashed liberal as people have claimed then Ira would have made the comment that Fox News looks Far Right compared to the other networks. Being a "product of ones environment" is a tired wasteful excuse. I remember every network being biased against Clinton and during the run up to the war they sat on stories which were negative towards Bush Jr. But hey that's just me I watched many different stations during the Clinton administration March 14, 2007, 12:16:17 AM EDT – Like – Reply Fox Fan "if you're going to imply something is slightly right of other networks that would mean the other networks were closer to the center." -Bob No, it doesn't say anything about other networks. A moderate is right of liberal AND is closer to the center. "If the other networks were say as unabashed liberal as people have claimed then Ira would have made the comment that Fox News looks Far Right compared to the other networks." -Bob I'm not sure where you're coming from there, Ira said "When compared to other American networks...Fox News Channel sometimes gives the appearance of being slightly to the right in the US political spectrum." What you say Ira "would" have claimed is exactly what was said. And if being a product of your environment is a fallacy, behavioral sciences better start rewriting their textbooks. March 14, 2007, 7:10:24 AM EDT – Like – Reply Bob Ross Okay lets look at this conversely then according to your logic then compared to fox news the other networks must be slightly liberal. However this isn't the real case. Out of all the networks fox pretends to be the most balanced and yet is not. Look at the list of conservative hosts and how they far outweigh some of the balance the other networks have. Even so I've seen the list of conservatives still outweighing the liberals on all the networks. March 16, 2007, 5:17:02 PM EDT – Like – Reply Fox Fan Tom?
