March 18, 2007, 11:28:42 AM EDT – Like – Reply Fox Fan As always, the left would prefer to own the MSM without a single moderate outlet such as Fox News to spoil their fun by reporting both sides of the story. These democratic primary candidates couldn't stand up to tough questions. They can't stand up to the extremist elements of their own party. They can't stand up to Ahmadinejad, Kim Jung Il, or Chavez (often they empathise with these anti-Americans). And they certainly can't stand up to terrorism. March 18, 2007, 11:42:56 AM EDT – Like – Reply Bob Ross Wow such broadsweeping generalizations. So you're saying they can't stand up to tough questioning and yet where does this administration usually go when they want an interview? Often fox news. Why should people like Obama go on Fox News when they have twice tried smearing him with the false madrasa claim and the false black separatist movement claim? You can keep claiming they're moderate fox fan but I have yet to seen any news organization out there in a long time that's moderate. I have seen a shift toward conservativism up during the Clinton years until now. Often fox news." Key word: usually Republican politicians don't back out of a debate because it's hosted by CNN or MSNBC even if the far-right blogs openly disdain those networks. If they commit, they'll participate (even if it means getting pies thrown at them). If they back out, it's not because they are buckled by pressure from extremist online groups. This just goes to show how weak Edwards is. If he wanted to show strength he would have shown up and debated honestly and intellectually instead of surrendering to a sorry bunch of nutroots like MoveOn. Why shouldn't republicans OR democrats want to show up to debate on Fox News? They get the greatest exposure in cable news and they are asked tough questions from both sides. Edwards and crew could always debate on Olbermann, they could get their list of easy scripted questions read to all 50 adoring fans and MoveOn would be happy. I notice no stats are provided to support this claim. Of course it's pretty vague. "Often" Fox News. And "often" CNN. "Often" PBS. Etc etc. There is a page that lists all the Veep's speeches and media interviews. The number of times he has appeared on FNC is dwarfed by the others. I think you'd have a hard time in Cheney's case at least making the case that he favored FNC over CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, or ABC. You're not very good at this whole "debate" thing, are you? March 18, 2007, 7:16:55 PM EDT – Like – Reply average american patriot You BUSHWIPES are still focused on another non-story? You BUSHWIPES might as well be discussing the "Monica Crime" and its relevance to the current failure of Chimp's war in Iraq. See, it's the opposite reality of a place like AAR or KOS that doesn't allow opposition viewpoints. Places you frequent. Debate? I win. There, I win. Neal Gabler is the only liberal on the entirety of the Fox News channel who still has a job after criticizing Fox. He's the only one who has some balls. Colmes is a gutless weasel and Hannity's pathetic sidekick. Juan Williams is featured only once a week, JUST LIKE GABLER. Is that the best you've got. One liberal who is featured for a 30 minute show ONCE a week is somehow a counterbalance to conservative fanatics like Gibson, Cavuto, O'Reilly, Hume, etc... who are on Fox every day? Wow, you just lost the debate by a LANDSLIDE. Hence why even JONAH GOLDBERG admits that Fox News is biased. Nothing in the quote you were supposed to be refuting had anything to do with the freep. The rest of your message is just as meaningless. You must turn off the TV at very convenient times 50% of the day. "LOL. Grow up." Enough said. March 19, 2007, 7:31:58 PM EDT – Like – Reply |
