'This Is Pitiful'J$P Video! The Fox & Friends gang, plus Bill O'Reilly,
discuss the Imus flap.
From Fox & Friends, April 9
2007:
Steve, Brian, Gretchen, and Mr Bill on the outrageous comments of Don Imus [QuickTime video]: posted: Mon - April 9, 2007 at 10:29 AM j$p  send Tom Haha, let me get this straight, Fox is complaining about Imus being a racist, while John Gibson goes on air warning all of his white viewers "MAKE BABIES" because, oh, the SCARY HISPANICS might take over! LoL, grow up. Fox peddles hate, not MSNBC. MSNBC peddles factual stories pointing out the bias at the Fox News Channel, while Fox peddles laughable and easily debunked trash claiming Barack Obama was raised in a fundamentalist madrassa and puts out fabricated quotes by Democratic politicians. April 9, 2007, 2:25:54 PM EDT – Like – Reply Tom By the way, Johnny, you'll notice the difference between cool-aid drinking conservatives like yourself and liberals. Media Matters attacked MSNBC and Imus for his racist remarks. You and conservatives like Newsbusters only attacked them because you're partisans and see MSNBC as your enemy because Fox is your network. Do you see any liberals defending Imus? Nope. Yet Republicans will defend Fox to the end. Know why? Because MSNBC isn't liberal, and liberals don't therefore feel a need to defend it. It ain't running our propaganda. But Fox is running yours, which is why you swallow their cool-aid every day and every night and will fight to the end to defend their lies. Because you KNOW it's your propaganda outlet. April 9, 2007, 3:54:59 PM EDT – Like – Reply johnny dollar Tom, your statement about Gibson is a lie and I have quoted the exact transcript on this site that proves it had nothing to do with Hispanics taking over. In fact, his comments praised Hispanics for having more babies. Do you ever tell the truth about anything? http://johnnydollar.us/2004a/C1049953760/E20070320145114/index.html April 9, 2007, 4:18:44 PM EDT – Like – Reply OverHere I think Tom is allergic to the truth, if he didn't run away from it every time he's confronted then he would break out in hives. FNC's complaints have NOTHING to do with the network on which Imus's show is simulcast. His statements were WRONG, flat out. And who was it that I heard on Dan Patrick's Radio Show on ESPN Radio this afternoon saying, "If Imus were on FOX I'd be calling for his resignation but since he's on my network I have to take a hands off approach??" Oh, right, that would be Keith Olbermann. THERE'S someone really standing up for what's right, huh Tom? April 9, 2007, 6:54:29 PM EDT – Like – Reply Fox Fan Add one more item to Tom's list of lies he put forth and abandoned in hopes that everyone forgets his record of intentional misrepresentations. April 9, 2007, 7:45:24 PM EDT – Like – Reply Ira Because MSNBC isn't liberal, and liberals don't therefore feel a need to defend it. It ain't running our propaganda. Gee Tom, today I flipped over to Tucker for his regular panel segment and found Richard Cohen, far-left columnist of the Washington Post and Jonathan Alter, lefty columnist of Newsweek. No conservative in sight, including the phony Tucker, just two leftists employed by the same company! Good to know "they aint running your propaganda." April 9, 2007, 11:26:08 PM EDT – Like – Reply Tom "Gee Tom, today I flipped over to Tucker for his regular panel segment and found Richard Cohen, far-left columnist of the Washington Post and Jonathan Alter, lefty columnist of Newsweek." Tucker IS a conservative, ROFL. And by the way, I love how you ridicule this exact argument when I point out how Fox regularly hosts segments in which three or even four conservatives simply mouth off and there are no Dems/libs to counterbalance. Hypocrisy, anyone? April 10, 2007, 11:30:31 AM EDT – Like – Reply Tom Now, it's time for "My Word." Do your duty. Make more babies. That's a lesson drawn out of two interesting stories over the last couple of days. First, a story yesterday that half of the kids in this country under five years old are minorities. By far, the greatest number are Hispanic. You know what that means? Twenty-five years and the majority of the population is Hispanic. Why is that? Well, Hispanics are having more kids than others. Notably, the ones Hispanics call "gabachos" -- white people -- are having fewer. John Gibson, stating flatly that he wanted white people to "make more babies" because Hispanics were getting too large. You can pretend all you want that it has nothing to do with white people, no one believes you, and you don't believe it yourself. April 10, 2007, 11:32:00 AM EDT – Like – Reply johnny dollar > John Gibson, stating flatly that he wanted white people to "make more babies" Funny how you don't quote that. Quote where he wanted "white people to make more babies". You can't because it's not what he said. April 10, 2007, 11:45:09 AM EDT – Like – Reply Tom "Funny how you don't quote that. Quote where he wanted "white people to make more babies". You can't because it's not what he said." That is the most PATHETIC argument I have ever seen a conservative make. That because John Gibson did not say the exact words "White people, make more babies", therefore, he didn't mean it, despite the fact that "White people" are the subject at hand when he is discussing the falling birth rate, then he ends with "make more babies", clearly referring to white people. Johnny, it's seriously time to grow up. There is no one stupid enough to buy your pathetic argument that Gibson wasn't referring to white people when talking about "making more babies". Absolutely no one. Because most people have what we call COMMON SENSE. And when a show host brings up the subject of "white people", he's obviously discussing them in particular, for a reason. To argue otherwise is basically to say this: The following statement is not equating George W. Bush with Hitler. Adolf Hitler rose out of Germany because no one tried to stop him George W. Bush is rising unchallenged out of the Republican Primaries because no one is trying to stop him Therefore, we should think before it's too late and stop the rise of another Hitler! Oh, no, I'm not referring to Bush at all in that statement! I just happened to be talking about George W. Bush and Hitler in the same paragraph! It's all a coincidence. Christ, talk about a pathetic argument. April 10, 2007, 3:02:25 PM EDT – Like – Reply Ira Tucker IS a conservative, ROFL. Tom: You've got your strange litmus tests (Kirsten Powers, John Murtha, Jim Webb, Pat Caddell, Bob Beckel, etc. etc, are not liberals) and I've got mine: Tucker Carlson is against the war in Iraq, virtually supports the Bush Administration on nothing and strangely seems to agree with every liberal journalist on his show. By my litmus test Carlson is not a conservatve! April 10, 2007, 4:03:27 PM EDT – Like – Reply Tom By waging that argument all that you're proving is that you're another hypocritical Republican who refuses to believe that Tucker Carlson is a conservative because he opposed the Iraq War, while simultaneously claiming that anti-gun control, anti-welfare, anti-affirmative action, pro-tax cuts for the rich, pro-Iraq War Tammy Bruce is a "liberal" or a "Democrat" and anyone who disagrees is an ideological fanatic. Perhaps you're the fanatic? Or, more likely, you're simply full of it, and you have the most pathetically blatant double-standard of anyone on the internet. By the way, Ira, at least MSNBC gives Carlson his own show, and Scarborough. See any liberal commentators with their own shows on Fox? Even a fake Fox News Democrat like Powers or Caddell or Bruce? Nope. April 10, 2007, 4:30:10 PM EDT – Like – Reply Tom I don't seem to recall making any statements about Jim Webb or John Murtha, btw. Since when do either of these men appear on Fox News? April 10, 2007, 4:31:27 PM EDT – Like – Reply Tom And by the way, Ira, I can offer examples of institutional bias at Fox News, whereas you can only point out lopsided guest segments once in a while (whereas I can point them out every single day, on every single show). Here, for example, is the Beltway Boys, a blatantly biased program with a Democrat-basher, Mort Kondracke, and Fred Barnes, an icon of pure partisanship for the GOP. Kondracke claims "The Dems are invested in defeat", and not surprisingly, Barnes agrees! http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,264923,00.html Only in the world of Johnny Dollar does 1 Republican + 1 non-liberal, non-Democratic unaligned centrist with a habit of attacking every Democratic politician in Washington = Fair and Balanced Perfectly fair and balanced Republican propaganda! April 10, 2007, 6:05:30 PM EDT – Like – Reply Fox Fan Wow. Two people agree on something that's true and it's suddenly not fair and balanced. Would you rather one of them lie? Thanks for the transcript, I'd copy and paste the backup but you've obviously read it. April 10, 2007, 6:48:18 PM EDT – Like – Reply Ira Tom: I never said Tammy Bruce is a liberal. She may still be a registered democrat but she always appears on Fox as a conservative. Yesterday morning she was debating Bob Beckel. You may not have mentioned Senators Jim Webb or Bob Casey but I'll ask you to apply your litmus test. Both are pro-life, would they not count as liberals/democrats if they appear on Fox? (You already said that Harold Ford is not a Liberal/Democrat because he is pro-life). And why do you reference the Beltway Boys but not mention Mara Liasson, the usual third member of the panel? Kondracke is a pure moderate and swings both ways politically according to the issues. And one other question: In your never ending tirade against Johnny and this website, Have you ever bothered to read the description of this website on the upper right hand corner of the screen? Where does Johnny ever mention the words "Liberal," "Conservative," "Democrat" or "Republican?" In school didn't they ever tell you the pitfalls of using the word "assume?" April 10, 2007, 7:21:31 PM EDT – Like – Reply Tom I have no idea where to begin. I'm beginning to wonder if IRA even watches Fox News. 1.) "Tom: I never said Tammy Bruce is a liberal. She may still be a registered democrat but she always appears on Fox as a conservative." No, she doesn't: http://hotair.com/archives/2007/02/21/video-tammy-bruce-responds-to-bill-mahers-hateful-rhetoric/ O'Reilly and Bruce both refer to her as a liberal and a Democrat multiple times. Strike 1. 2.) "And why do you reference the Beltway Boys but not mention Mara Liasson, the usual third member of the panel? Kondracke is a pure moderate and swings both ways politically according to the issues." There IS NO THIRD MEMBER on the Beltway Boys. You're referring to Brit Hume's "All Star Panel", I'm referring to the Beltway Boys weekend program. There are only two members, one is a Republican, and you just admitted that the other is NOT a Democrat. Hence, it is a biased program, just like it would be biased if it was one liberal and one moderate. Additionally, your contention that the All Star Panel is fair (presumably this is what you were referring to) is also ludicrous, because Mara is ROUTINELY replaced with Charles Krauthammer, a conservative Republican. So, on days in which Mara is there, the ideological breakdown is this: Mara - Liberal Kondracke - Center Barnes - Conservative Hume - Conservative And on days which she is not, which is about every other day, the breakdown is thus: Krauthammer - Conservative Hume - Conservative Barnes - Conservative Kondracke - Moderate A full-fledged right-wing circle jerk. Strike 2. Are you suggesting that we can never be completely sure if a network is biased now, because ideology is hard to pin down? Johnny is an obvious partisan Republican. He can call his website "independent" all he wants. No one believes O'Reilly is an independent, and no one would beleive Johnny either. There's nothing worse than a weasel unable to admit his politics. April 10, 2007, 8:51:46 PM EDT – Like – Reply johnny dollar > Johnny is an obvious partisan Republican. Here we go again. Citation? April 10, 2007, 9:44:53 PM EDT – Like – Reply Tom By the way, would you like to actually refute any of the points I made above, Johnny, or are you once again at a loss for words because you simply can't defend the ridiculous idea that the Beltway Boys or the All-Star Panel is fair and balanced? April 10, 2007, 10:00:53 PM EDT – Like – Reply johnny dollar There are no points to refute. Just like all of Geraldo's conservative positions that you haven't to this day answered. Just like telling me what party I belong to and you can't supply ONE SINGLE QUOTE. I'm not going to waste my time "refuting" someone who repeatedly refuses to document claims when asked. No need for me to fire back when you're shooting without powder. April 10, 2007, 10:05:29 PM EDT – Like – Reply Ira Tom: For the record, I was thinking "Special Report With Brit Hume" not "Beltway Boys." I rarely watch the latter. Another correction: normally Charles Krauthammer only appears on Fridays when Jim Angle is the moderator. So I'm dying to know: Is Angle a liberal or a conservative? And how do you know if Johnny, me or anybody else here is a registered Republican? Have you ever looked into our wallets? April 10, 2007, 11:03:42 PM EDT – Like – Reply Tom Angle is a dishonest reporter and a partisan Republican, and NO, Krauthammer does not only appear on Fridays, he appears regularly during the week on off-days. So yes, you were wrong, you deliberately left Krauthammer out of the equation, and you know you can't win on the Beltway Boys blatant bias, so you run from it as well. By the way, Larry Elder and Laura Ingraham were guests last night on H&C at the same time. Fair and balanced? LoL, yeah right. April 11, 2007, 9:06:10 AM EDT – Like – Reply OverHere And you conveniently ignore Cece Connolly, who appears as often as Charles Krauthammer. April 11, 2007, 10:35:05 AM EDT – Like – Reply Tom LOL, looks like Johnny Dollar is further to the right than one could imagine. The sarcasm in your post doesn't refute anything. Here is a litany of examples of how Angle is a dishonest little Republican weasel: http://mediamatters.org/items/200605190008 http://mediamatters.org/items/200605160004 http://mediamatters.org/items/200512220014 http://mediamatters.org/items/200506170005 http://mediamatters.org/items/200504040005 http://mediamatters.org/items/200409270006 http://mediamatters.org/items/200408100006 LOL, in this last instance, the Fox News All-Star Panel consisted of Fred Barnes Bill Kristol Charles Krauthammer ROFL! Fair and balanced all the way! I don't expect you will respond to any of this, Johnny, because in your delusional world I'm sure Jim Angle is a "liberal" or a "Democrat", maybe even a communist. April 11, 2007, 11:34:08 AM EDT – Like – Reply Ira More half-truths from Tom: After the first segment on Hannity and Colmes, liberal attorney Leo Terrell joined the panel and after the second segment, Laura Ingraham exited. Leo has such a big mouth that it probably takes four conservatives to create some semblance of balance. And I said that Krauthammer "normally" only appears on Fridays. Sure he sometimes fills in for others. And of course another fact you ignore is that that Brit Hume serves as a facilitator on the daily panel, not a pudit. Finally Tom, a recommendation. I adhere to a basic rule: when I'm on websites such as Johnny's, I don't comment on shows or personalities that I don't watch. IOW, I don't run to Media matters, Hot Air, You Tube or other sites that contain biased and often edited data. You might also benefit from such a policy. April 11, 2007, 12:01:44 PM EDT – Like – Reply johnny dollar I've caught Media Matters in too many distortions and lies to even waste time on their links. Maybe I should institute a new rule here: no links permitted to disinformation sites. I'll propose that to our board of directors. April 11, 2007, 12:02:02 PM EDT – Like – Reply Tom "I've caught Media Matters in too many distortions and lies to even waste time on their links." Translation: Media Matters provides audio and video evidence of everything they claim, hence I will be made a fool of if I dispute them, so I won't and will pretend that I won the argument. "Leo has such a big mouth that it probably takes four conservatives to create some semblance of balance." Translation: Putting more conservatives on than liberals is fine by me! The logic you use, by claiming that liberals eventually came onto the program, would be no different than me pointing out that Carlson indeed had Republicans and conservatives on his program at sometime that day too. That is irrelevant. What is relevant is whether the number of Reps, cons outweighed the overall number of libs and Dems, and they ALWAYS do. "And I said that Krauthammer "normally" only appears on Fridays. Sure he sometimes fills in for others." ERRR, WRONG. Krauthammer ONLY fills in for Mara. Kondracke and Barnes are almost NEVER absent, and when they are, they are not replaced by a liberal or Democrat, the way Mara is replaced by a Republican. Bill Sammon and Michael Barone substitute for Barnes. I don't think I can recall not seeing Kondracke on the program, albeit obviously he's absent at some point. April 11, 2007, 12:29:30 PM EDT – Like – Reply Ira Tom: No, Mara is usually replaced by Nina Easton, also a liberal. And please don't list endless links from that website run by David Brock; I'm not impressed by "out of context" quotes. BTW, you should be lauding H&C for having Leo Terrell on last night. He was so loud and overbearing that mean, evil Laura Ingraham left the studio! Tom: Overall, you are pathetic! April 11, 2007, 1:10:32 PM EDT – Like – Reply johnny dollar Now, Ira, let's not be personal about this. Just because "Tom" makes claims about Geraldo Rivera that he never backs up, and just because he told me what party I belong to and cannot provide even ONE SINGLE QUOTE as evidence. We shouldn't hold that against him. After all, he doesn't read newshounds. We know that because he told us so, both before and after citing a link at newshounds! Still waiting for all those conservative Geraldo positions I asked about, "Tom". And some evidence for your claim about me. April 11, 2007, 1:42:11 PM EDT – Like – Reply Tom "Tom: No, Mara is usually replaced by Nina Easton, also a liberal." No, that's a flat-out lie. Mara is regularly replaced by Charles Krauthammer, Nina Easton appears only once in a while. For every appearance Easton makes, Krauthammer makes at least 2-3.
