Looks like one of Michelle Malkin's minions got back at Inside Cable News and did a hoax on them and Chris Matthews in a twofer. I know the Malkinites were pissed that ICN leaked her email where she quit the factor. But forging MSNBC press releases? Now that's a new low.

It'll be interesting to follow the plot line now that Michelle Malkin has thrown a hissy fit and apparently quit the The O'Reilly Factor. Like so many of the nasty, right-wing foamers (O'Reilly is the best example of this) she loves to bash liberals with a verbal baseball bat then gets indignant when they complain. Justified by their own sanctimony, real or feigned. But attack them and they become unglued.

She apparently wants another pound of flesh from Geraldo. Though that doesn't really explain her dumping The Factor. I mean, it's not to blame for what Geraldo says. Did she expect O'Reilly to rough up Geraldo more? Squeeze more of an apology from the man? Go for full humiliation - maybe force Geraldo to grovel on all fours?

Unless I'm mistaken the flap is over Geraldo mouthing off about spitting on Michelle, an incident that did not occur on The Factor So why dump it yet promise to show up on other Fox News shows?

Does her bloated ego tell her she's got the advantage in leverage here and Fox News will cave over this and pressure Geraldo for more? I dunno. Personally, I think she needs The Factor much more than the other way around. The right-wing bench is stuffed full of talented Rush Limbaugh wannabes chomping at one of the choicest right-wing gigs in media.

On The Mark
I was rushing through O'Hare over the weekend and someone screamed out, "Look there's Geraldo Rivera!" He was pointing at a piece of gum that's been on the floor since the last Democratic convention in Chicago, but it did look amazingly like Geraldo. It was disgusting.
