but they all agreed on who didn't.

Frank Luntz and his focus group with immediate reaction to tonight's debate: posted: Sun - October 21, 2007 at 09:51 PM j$p  send harrt smith the clinton presidency was hell? things were pretty good during those 8 years. at least he ran his own show and wasnt just a puppet. anyway, it's pretty clear the repubs are all divided on the main issues. that's kinda why the country is in the shape it's in today. and fnc is just eatin the hillary stuff up. they need to rebrand themselves to the anti-hillary channel. pretty clear they will pound this harder than the fact the repubs are divided and the only issue to them is beating hillary. the repubs just don't have a clue. October 21, 2007, 10:12:59 PM EDT – Like – Reply Susan Oh yeah, things were great during the Clinton presidency. If he had spent half as much time on his JOB as opposed to screwing girls younger than his daughter, and then trying to cover his butt. Who knows? October 22, 2007, 10:11:14 AM EDT – Like – Reply On The Mark Yes, the Katrina recovery debacle, the Iraq quagmire, crippling gas prices, a collapsing housing market all attest to the hell that was the Clinton Administration. Thank goodness, we are not suffering under peace and prosperity now! October 22, 2007, 10:53:36 AM EDT – Like – Reply Daytona I would rather have my president whoring around than sending kids to Iraq to get killed for nothing. October 22, 2007, 11:26:25 AM EDT – Like – Reply Professor Why That's funny -- the last time I looked, the US military was comprised of adults who volunteered to serve this country, not of kids... Gee, must've happened while I was sleeping or something... October 22, 2007, 11:57:03 AM EDT – Like – Reply On The Mark No problem, Herr Professor Why. Many Americans have been sleeping during the last 7 years. Indeed, I wish I had and were still sleeping until this nightmarish Administration ends. October 22, 2007, 12:54:12 PM EDT – Like – Reply Professor Why Hmm, addressing me in a German fashion, eh? Your intent is duly noted, so I'll go ahead and invoke Godwin's Law here before you go on to resort to more overt Nazi-esque characterizations... October 22, 2007, 1:40:34 PM EDT – Like – Reply On The Mark Of course, Herr Professor, that phrase is a term of great honor and respect, without an English equivalent. I used it satirically, but not with a Naziesque implication. That's your inference, and it is a shame you made it. Last I checked, there hasn't been a Nazi in Germany in 62 years. Perhaps, there is something Freudian or Jungian at work in your inference. Freud was Austrian and Jewish, Jung (German-speaking) Swiss and Protestant, at times thought to have pro-Nazi sympathies. So, the plot thickens. Both might agree that such paranoia warrants psychoanalysis, however. October 22, 2007, 7:18:04 PM EDT – Like – Reply On the Mark Perhaps you ought not assume the only anti-Semites are Nazis. There are plenty in country clubs, prep schools, etc. all over America. October 22, 2007, 8:39:49 PM EDT – Like – Reply Fox Fan "Last I checked, there hasn't been a Nazi in Germany in 62 years." Now you're diverting from your fallacious statement. Not quite on the mark. Speaking of Nazis, you probably would rather see Israel "wiped off the map" by your democrat-party loving friend. Osama loves you too. October 23, 2007, 6:58:10 AM EDT – Like – Reply On The Mark Sorry Fox Fan, but I am not going to take your bait. I realized long ago that the Far Right likes nothing more than to scream some form of "divert" whenever the discussion reaches a ripeness or a fullness and begins to make their talking points useless. As for your final sentence, it is a shame you were not around during the McCarthy/Cold War era. You would have been a proud and proficient red baiter. That was an easy time for you people, wasn't it? The fact that you knew absolutely nothing was not the hindrance it is today. October 23, 2007, 7:31:55 AM EDT – Like – Reply FoxNewsWhines The overwhelming majority of Americans approved of how Clinton did his job, every poll taken during the the last half of his presidency and every poll since has shown that. That fat Republican weasel mumbling about Hillary being a communist is one of the most hillarious things I've ever seen, he looks down at his desk doing it in the end. God', that's golden. "Speaking of Nazis, you probably would rather see Israel "wiped off the map" by your democrat-party loving friend. Osama loves you too." LoL, grow up. You lunatics in the GOP were kissing up to Hussein for an entire decade, you're the one who armed him and set him loose to kill better than a million Iraqi and Iranian civilians. Let me know when you find Osama Bin Laden with a receipt in his pocket from the DNC. October 23, 2007, 1:23:43 PM EDT – Like – Reply Fox Fan Regardless of what you say "On The Mark", the fact stands that Ahmadinejad and Bin Laden both expressed public satisfaction with the democrat wins. Why would sworn enemies of America embrace the democratic party? Chavez thanks you too. October 23, 2007, 10:20:53 PM EDT – Like – Reply On the Mark That would, indeed, be an odd thing for any of the gentlemen to believe, wouldn't it? After all, they have all lived free of fear and prospered during the Bush administration. Do you think this might have been a rhetorical device? A much more effective rhetorical device, I might add, than your amusing attempt to make a cogent, rational argument. Take pride Fox Fan. Few people can be said to be less reasonable than these three, but you clearly are. Are you, perhaps, Baghdad Bob? Or, maybe that guy (whose name escapes me) who wanted the Court trying him to address him with "Hi, Hitler?" Thanks for a wonderful belly laugh. October 23, 2007, 11:21:57 PM EDT – Like – Reply Fox Fan How many times do you have to be proven off the mark before you are forced to change your name out of shame? Why you'd think I was an Iraqi or a crackpot defendant I don't know, but you're really stretching to discredit now. That is the objective here, right? Some far-out hate-Fox group sent you here to try to shake up the comments? It is not I, but you who should take pride for being the silent bedfellow of international leaders who hate America. That takes a special kind of person and you are just the one. October 24, 2007, 7:10:40 AM EDT – Like – Reply On The Mark When you have a lucid moment, I should like you to rewrite the gibberish in your 7:15 a.m. post. I understand not a word, and I am an unusually bright person. As for some Far-Out Hate-FOX group, I am sure I don't know what you are talking about, but do you have a contact? I have been looking for such a group. October 24, 2007, 7:45:50 AM EDT – Like – Reply Susan Off The Mark, "An unusually bright person" You've got to be kidding. Only a moron couldn't find a Far-Out-Hate-FOX group. Try a little known seach engine named "Google," and put "Hate FOX News" in the search box. I'm sure you'll find almost all of your peers there. October 24, 2007, 4:30:45 PM EDT – Like – Reply Fox Fan No kidding Susan. For such an "unusually bright person" who kisses their own ass as much as they like to demean others, OTM is pretty far off on that point. If you need any help deciphering correct grammar and spelling, feel free to inquire. October 24, 2007, 6:34:33 PM EDT – Like – Reply On The Mark For someone so convinced that his or her grammar is correct, the construction, "an 'unusually bright person' who kisses THEIR own ass" is most odd. Surely, "person" is singular, "their" is plural and "ass" is singular. Rather an internal disagreement in number and accordingly confusing, it would seem .... Perhaps, that is why some of us cannot decipher the English as a Second Language gibberish you write. Of course it is amusing, in the "Pass over to me in the refrigerator the Gruyère." or "The dark is here now. Make me a light.," vein. Susan did clear up matters for me, however. I followed her advice, and I now understand from whence you come. If anyone has a specific criticism of FNC, say, "O'Reilly's anger is getting the best of him and rendering his show tedious and irritating.," or if he or she states a conclusion "At times, FNC seems to be the Propaganda Ministry of the Republican National Committee.," a point which, to me, may not be deemed established but seems clearly worthy of debate, then he or she is a member of a "Far Out Hate FOX Group". I simply did not realize you were speaking of such a very, very large group. Please excuse me. To make absolutely certain I understand, if I were to say, in response to an article in the Times or the Post about an horrific car bombing in Mosul, "The Drive-By Media never reports the good news coming from Iraq.," then that would be fair and balanced? October 25, 2007, 8:10:09 AM EDT – Like – Reply johnny dollar > Surely, "person" is singular, "their" is plural and "ass" is singular If we're going to play grammar police, the construction for decades was "who kisses HIS own ass", but feminists and PC cops objected and didn't accept the argument that in such a construction, "his" tacitly included women as well. So, lacking any genuine word to replace "his" with, and not wanting to use the clumsy, tiresome "his or her" every time the situation came up, common usage settled on a word whose gender is non-specific: "their". I don't like it either, but then I'm a holdout that prefers to use "his". October 25, 2007, 11:39:01 AM EDT – Like – Reply Fox Fan That's very un-PC of you johnny!
