I saw Asman give that spot - it was great. The newshounds, however, studied at the the Dan Rather School of Reasoning: even though their example of Fox lying is wrong, Fox still lies (or "re-arranges" words, since the conversation quickly turned to Brit Hume).
 
Melanie's reply to the situation today: "We'll stop posting about this as soon as Hume apologizes."
 
Earth to Melanie - (1) Hume is not going to apologize. (2) What does that have to do with the unfounded accusations against Asman?

Sure, go read the post. Read how they completely slide over the fact that Asman gave not only the date of the NY Times article, but also identified the author, right up on screen. And still the newswussies pretended as if Asman's completely accurate quote was made up.
 
As for their call for a Hume apology, we have about a dozen recent examples of the newspoodles shamelessly rearranging sentences, and when caught in the act they neither apologize nor correct. They just ban anyone who dares to expose them. So as I've said before, I'll join them in calling for Hume to apologize when the newspups apologize for their doctored quotes and fabricated lies.

Please. Prove me wrong. Prove me wrong that nancy has doctored quotes from FNC on a regular basis, often shamelessly stringing together disparate sentences to twist their meanings. Prove me wrong when I state that nancy lied about the contents of an Iraq raid video the other day, describing all sorts of things that appear NOWHERE in the video shown.
