Will Deborah's Lies Ever Cease?
How long? How much more? Even after we documented years of smears and fabrications from the newshounds' Deborah, still the lies keep coming. Yesterday she may have topped herself in doctoring quotes and falsifying facts to smear Fox News:
Obama Tells GOP " Lay Off My Wife" and FOX Says No Way"Fox", the entire news channel, perhaps even the articles of incorporation themselves, says "no way"? A typical HeadLie.
Kelly claimed that voters "want her to be a patriotic" [sic] and took issue with Obama calling the Republican tactic low class.Debbie's specialty is rewriting what people say to make it fit what she wanted them to say:
KELLY: Just judging from what I'm hearing from some of our viewers, they do think that the issue of Michelle Obama's patriotism is relevant, and they don't see that as a side issue. They want the first lady of the United States and a person who would hold enormous influence over the President to be a patriot and to love this country.... And they took issue with his statement that that was somehow low class or off-limits for the campaign.
So where did Megyn Kelly take issue with Obama's statement? She didn't. Deb made it up! And just to further misrepresent the proceedings, what does Deborah leave out? Kelly's words were actually questions; she was doing an interview, with Obama campaign co-chairman Eric Holder. But Debbie not only ignores everything he said, she doesn't even tell her gullible readers that he was on the program! (To smear Fox it is essential to make it look like they are biased, and so hiding the fact that Democrats appear is an important part of the propaganda.)Greg [sic] Jarrett asked John Lehman if McCain was planning to ask the Tennessee group to stop running the ad.What's this? After hiding Eric Holder's presence, all of a sudden Deb tells us an evil Republican was on the program. Here's some of that interview that Debbie carefully avoided:
JARRETT: Barack Obama says come on, this is low class, it's unfair. I mean I think his point is she's not running. She's not going to be in the White House sitting in on all the policy meetings. Come on, why attack her? It's not a coincidence that Deb didn't use that.
It was then time for the daily visit from the wise elder, Brit Hume...
Another lie from Deborah! It was then time not for Brit Hume but for Maria Cardona of the Hillary Clinton campaign. Just like Deb made Holder disappear, she skipped over Cardona as if she didn't exist. Another heavy-handed use of the "invisible man" trick. He advised Mrs Obama not to "engage in flights of rhetorical fancy"We only cite the above to demonstrate again how, when Deborah puts something inside quote marks, that's a pretty good clue that what she wrote is inaccurate.
Later in the hour, Tammy Bruce did a feminist schtick about how Obama is disrespecting his wife by trying to protect her.
Wasn't there someone else in that discussion? Oh yes, liberal talk-show host Ellen Ratner. She was on with Tammy Bruce. And yet Deb mentions only Bruce, and once again hides the fact that a liberal Democrat was on the program. So it looks like the folks on FOX Election HQ thought the video was just fine and Michelle Obama should keep quiet and take whatever they feel like dishing out. What folks were those? The ones whose quotes you doctored? Or the ones you deliberately left out of your post, to bamboozle the credulous?
Oh, and speaking of the credulous, the kennel-dwellers responded en masse to Deborah's deceit-filled post. Remember as you read these [vulgarities have been deleted] that the commenters were up in arms because spouses are supposed to be off limits. What you will see is not only irony to the ultimate power, but also a reminder that to be a Fox hater, first you have to be a hater:
- Nancy Reagan was a dominatrix Laura got drunk and ran over a guy Cindy wrote a fake prescription The Republican boys that married the women above peed their pants.
- Yep - let's go after McLame's pill-poppin' wife... didn't she swipe money from her own charity to buy drugs or some [deleted]???
- Yeah, former First Lady Barbara Bush ask them kids in the Astro Dome after Katrina if it wasn't a better there than what they had.
- Mc[deleted]stain tries to compare her useless self to an accomplished woman like Michelle Obama and also questions her patriotism
- Nancy Reagan was running the White House behind the scenes when Reagan became senile and that was kept secret until his term was up.
- Like the GOP backers did when the Shrub twins were aptly called drunken whores ?
- And that makes it acceptable for a pill-popping , empty-headed home-wrecking , well-to-do life-long plastic surgery patient to open her stupid mouth about her , too ?
- Isn't too difficult to come up with adjectives that describe walking fecal matter .......
- Wasn't Nancy doin' it with Ol' Blue Eyes in the White House?
- Cindy Mc[deleted]stain is not 1st lady ; nor will she be
- Noelle Bush was a known drug addict, who had been caught twice with drugs, did no time, and then the third time got caught peddling cocaine in a Rehabitation for addicts.
- Does anyone know, did tammy bruce [deleted] her panties about how mclame disrespected his wife when he called her a c**t and a trollop?
- cindy mccain can [deleted] it.
- What could Fox say about Cindy? That she pop pills like Rush Limbaugh? Is this nation ready to turn the White House into a crack house with Cindy and Rush shooting up and McBush wetting his diapers?
- Nancy Reagan deserves a slow painful death for the "just say no program" and for being married to the devil.

"Just judging from what I'm hearing from 'some of our viewers, they do think'...."
Using this kind of dodge,a newsreader could say anything and not be responsible for what she said.
For example, 'some people say' that Johnny Dollar is a "nattering nabob of negativism".

1. If that's true, then why be deceitful and claim SHE took issue with something when it was phrased as OTHERS did.
And B. Why hide from the readers that these were questions in an interview with the head of the Obama campaign? Perhaps to enhance the false representation that Kelly was just sitting there and spouting off? Ya think?
When people have to distort and lie to smear Fox, it's a pretty goo bet that they are shooting without powder.
> For example, 'some people say' that Johnny Dollar is a "nattering nabob of negativism".
As a flat-out statement it's one thing. But if you are interviewing J$ and ask him that in the form of a question, then he gets to answer it and has the last word on the subject. That's quite different, is it not? Is there something objectionable about that? of course not. But because that is not objectionable, Debbie had to present it in a false way, without mentioning it was a quote from viewers, without telling anyone it was a question not a statement, and most of all, without telling anyone that it was posed to the Obama campaign co-chairman, who got to answer it and had the last word on the subject.
That is what is called deception or, in a less elegant term, lying.

Lay off of my wife? During the Clinton years, their daughter was off limits to the press. That is one of the few things that I ever respected them for. However, while she was off limits she was not running her mouth stating what a mean Country we are, etc. You cant have it both ways Obamma, make up your mind and stop playing the "victim" card. Hillary is busy using it.

Your comment makes no sense at all. Why are you comparing the daughter of the Clintons to Michelle Obama?

notveryhow, why do you keep harping on the "some people say"? I watched Outfoxed. Their focus on "some people say" was (and is) overblown and *gasp* EVERY news organization could be compiled with hundreds of clips saying the same thing!
Either a) you are ignorant to the cherry-picked phrase that everyone is guilty of
or IV) you knowingly cherry pick the phrase and attribute it to just one of infinite offenders.

My point was that the Clinton's didnt put their daughter on center stage, therefore, they could justify the "hands off" demand. Obamma on the other hand has his wife in the spotlight. This is the first time that I have been proud of my country....We are a mean Country etc. So if you are going to put your wife (or ANY family member for that matter) in the spotlight you will have to deal with him/her being corrected.

In addition to your very correct answer Tony this year Chelsea(sp)Clinton's is campaigning both with her mother and more often separately yet they are still demanding and the press seems to be acquiessencing that she is not to be questioned or challenged.
I agree that was totally appropriate during Clinton's two terms b/c of her age and her being carefully sheltered from the campaigns and any politicing while he was in office.
This year I think she no longer merits being treated with royal princess solicitude b/c she is an adult and is taking an adult's roll in the campaign. Using the same criteria to the degree that wives, children, parents etc engage in political campaigning beyond the rapturous adoring stand by their side meme they are and should be subject to scrutiny.
For what this anecdotal evidence is worth I had two very close girlfriends that were leaning heavily toward Kerry in spite of my best efforts to sway them. As it turned out it was Teresa Heinz Kerry who pushed them to voting for Bush b/c of her crude language, behavior and a few glaring lies.
Michelle Obama is fair game as long as she campaigns and speaks of and for Barak independently and to argue otherwise is foolish.

Excerpt from above:
"Regardless of what you think of the question or the answer, the exchange raises another point: Why doesn't Chelsea allow reporters -- even nine-year-old ones from Scholastic News -- to ask her questions?
Yes, we're all about protecting children who happened to be born into very public families. But little Chelsea is now a 28-year-old, Stanford- and Oxford-educated hedge fund investment analyst. And she's on the campaign trail, touring colleges to answer questions about her mom's candidacy. That's called being a surrogate. And though she's likely a boring interview since she rarely strays from her talking points, as Comrade Marinucci told us, recalling Chelsea's visit to Oakland's Mills College, why should she still be shielded from reporters? Sally Quinn told CBS News Wednesday: "I don't understand why the press is being suckered like this."
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0408/9641.html
"When sharp-elbowed television reporters manage to slip through the crowd and face Clinton, he reaches out his arm to shield the 28-year-old surrogate, points to the side of the room like a stone-faced traffic cop and tells the reporters, Ill talk to you over there. Far from Chelsea.
Since Clinton doesnt speak to reporters, Reines is her voice. When inquiring minds approach Clinton to say hello, she has been known to say, Have you met Philippe?
http://tpmcafe.talkingpointsmemo.com/talk/2008/03/when-will-chelsea-face-reporte.php
"When will Chelsea Clinton, Hillarys daughter, face the heat of reporters asking her questions?
Chelsea has been traveling the country campaigning for her mom. She visits colleges and clubs around the nation, giving speeches of support for Hillary. As of yet, shes not to had to face national reporters questions. Why is this?
........ Have the Clintons warned the media that shes off base? Have they been threatened something like, if you go after Chelsea and I win the White House, you wont get access to me?
What other excuse could there be? Chelsea, like any other Clinton campaign worker/advisor is responsible for answering reporters questions,....
When will the media demand answers from this young lady? Shes 28 years old for gosh sakes she can handle it."
I gave you the citations you asked for so for once how about you put your money where your mouth is by citing just two interviews/question asked and answered from the press by Chelsea to prove the other side of the argument..
Don't waste your time looking for it in Scholastica Magazine. Chelsea declined to answer their nine year old reporter b/c she doesn't take questions from "reporter".
