It's Time for Deb's Donald Trump Moment

Credibility is never high on the agenda for Fox haters, but nowhere is it lower than at the newshounds (another fine product of the Outfoxed syndicate). Just yesterday we nailed Deborah for falsifying Megyn Kelly's words. Now Deb is back, and in a shocking surprise development, she does it again:

Megyn Kelly Claims Obama Didn't Congratulate Clinton For WV Win
Megyn Kelly complained today, 5/14, on FOX Election HQ, that Barack Obama didn't bother to congratulate Hillary Clinton for her win in West Virginia suggesting that he's inconsiderate or a sore loser. It seems Kelly was wrong. Barack Obama sent Clinton a congratulatory text message which is a perfectly acceptable form of communication especially among the younger voters supporting Obama. A simple retraction from Kelly would be appreciated
Deborah thinks Kelly should do a retraction? Hound chutzpah at its most brazen. But despite Deb's track record of doctored and phony quotes, just her word was enough for the credulous kennel-dwellers:
  • Megan [sic] told the sheep what to beleive [sic]. The reality does not matter.
  • That Mergyn [sic] is one fibbing cock-eyed hussy. I mean, next to O'Reilly and Hannity no one can compete with her in the fibbing department. Please tell me that voodoo dolls work, so I can buy one for Mergyn [sic] and pull all of its hair out. Pleassssssssse tell me they work.
  • the more I watch and read about fox the more I am convinced drug testing should be mandatory for the personalitues [sic] employed there.
  • She is one, mean Fascist Barbie.
  • Waiting for J$, Houndy or one of the other FOX sycophants to come in and explain this one.
Well, we did come in and explain it, but as with Debbie's previous prevarication, our comment was summarily deleted. Too bad, since the kennel could use a dose of the truth. Once again Deb mangled, twisted, and doctored what Megyn said:
KELLY: Barack Obama knew he was not going to win West Virginia, but should he have come out to congratulate Clinton and thank the voters who did vote for him?
Note that Megyn was talking about Obama making the traditional election night speech, the purpose of which is to thank his voters as well as publicly congratulate the winner. Kelly notes that some pundits have said it was a mistake for him to skip this ritual. Such critics include lifelong partisan Democrat Susan Estrich:
ESTRICH: Yeah I think he made a mistake... He should have been out there tonight. He should have been extremely gracious to Senator Clinton, congratulated her on her great victory.
So Kelly didn't "complain", she was talking about a public appearance (not a private message), she referenced Obama thanking his voters, and in fact was reporting analysis from one of Obama's fellow Democrats. But Debbie thinks she should make a retraction!

This kind of counterfeit quote is a staple of Debbie's "reportage". We would be hard pressed to name any other member of the biased bassets who has racked up so many falsehoods, doctored quotes, and downright lies as Deb. Here is just a small part of her curriculum vitae, each one easily documented with transcripts, audio, and video: Notice how many of the above involve quotes: doctoring them, rearranging them, and sometimes just making them up out of whole cloth. Deborah's credibility is so low she couldn't get a job making coffee at the Smallville Torch. It's time someone at the kennel call her into the boardroom and, in true Donald Trump style, tell her once and for all: Deborah, you're fired!

Concerning the reporter that reports are saying was called "sweety"by sen Obama.

Back in 2001,Pres Bush appeared locally, and one reporter for WGAL was all aflutter because,in her words, the president looked at her and said "Hey,lady".Did Fox news pick this up?

As for the main topic of this post,I think you're splitting hairs.IMO,this doesn't quite rise to the level of "falsifying Megyn Kelly's words".Megyn did not state that she was talking about the traditional concession speech, though she did imply it.However, she did not acknowledge that Obama had indeed contacted the Clinton camp.So I'll give you each 1 point.

> Did Fox news pick this up? As I age, my memory isn't what it used to be. So it would be very difficult for me to recall an incident that trivial seven years later. However, since Fox was the news channel that broke the story of Bush's drunk driving arrest, just days before an election, I suspect they would have had no trouble reporting on "Hey Lady

> think you're splitting hairs.

Megyn referred to criticism that Obama did not COME OUT and THANK HIS VOTERS as WELL as congratulate Clinton. Now if Obama sent a text message, just how does that require Megyn to issue a "retraction"? A retraction would only be appropriate if Megyn said what Deborah claimed, which she didn't.

Just as the previous example, where Deborah put the word "laudable" in Megyn's mouth to claim she defended Hagee, when she said no such thing.

Now don't you think before Deb goes demanding retractions from Megyn, she ought to retract and correct her own false reporting?

(You'll give me 1 point? I'll take it!)

When they dont have any facts to hang their tin hat on, they do the next best thing....just make it up and hope there are enough suckers who will believe them.

Good Job J$ in exposing these fools.

Not expecting you to recall such a trivial incident.Who would, except a local who was there(well, within 1/2 mile,in a "free speech zone").Just my way of pointing out the silliness of the 'sweety" question.

Oh it's much ado about little, but it was elevated somewhat since 1. it was caught on tape, and B. Obama apologized to the reporter and THAT was caught on tape too. If there were no tape, there would probably be no story.

The daily NH assault on FoxNews female On Air personalities continues, with no effect and I might add that I predict a backlash is in the offing. Very few take the left wing Newshound garbage seriously anyway, so it's just preaching to the their looney fringe audience. If you want to talk about audience, you want to talk about FoxNews.

Good Grief Dollar, most of that list you gave for the NewsHounds lies are from 2004 and 2005. I guess that's safe for you because you didn't have any videos to back up your claims.

All you backed it up with is what you claimed was said and how they lied.

That is very pathetic of you Dollar.

I thought you were more intelligent than that. But I guess whatever makes your flock happy.

Yeah. I got tired of cutting and pasting. I had to stop somewhere, or else the list would be too long and might intimidate readers from checking it. Thanks for noticing how much I had to leave out.

> you didn't have any videos to back up your claims.

False. Geez, do you really think people can't click on the links and watch the videos? That has to be the most easily-disproven, lame-o fabrication yet. Does you saying there are no videos somehow make the videos go away? Your devotion to the newspups is so great that you will embarrass yourself in this way to try to salvage what is left of their reputation? One can only wonder just which of them you really are.

> All you backed it up with is what you claimed was said

False. Audio. Video. And transcripts: if I can get them, anyone can, from any of several sources: Lexis/Nexis, Voxant, Federal News Service. Knock yourself out. Find one that contradicts any of those posts. And while you're at it, why don't you tell us what Deborah backed up her claims with? Might that be...um...nothing? Nothing except her...word? And we have proven what that's worth. Why would anyone believe Deborah, who has been shown to be a serial liar, unless they were part of the liars' club? Which again makes one wonder just which one of them you really are.

> That is very pathetic of you Dollar.

Great, substantive comeback to a documented list of lies. But hey, we know where you stand on the issue of lying.

Dollar,

I went through the first 6 of your supposed lies of the NewsHounds.

I didn't see one video or a link to a transcript to back up your claims.

All it was , was just what you wrote. You can't do any better than that?

You can't link to transcripts that cost money. Otherwise nobody would pay to get them. You're perfectly free, of course, to get them, but then that would be more evidence that Deborah was lying, and that's the last thing you want. So you won't do it.

> the first 6 of your supposed lies of the NewsHounds. I didn't see one video

Oh wow you looked at a whole six of them? Well, that's something of a backpedal from "you don't have ANY videos", isn't it? You still want to stand by that claim?

Oh and very neat: "I didn't see one video", but you didn't say anything about the audios did you? Nice. Get back to me when you decide if you stand by "you don't have ANY videos".

Therefore, 2 = 1.

Not mine, but it most definitely applies.

Cecelia, I always read several maniacal blue blogs a day also. I think I am going to follow your advice in the future b/c I notice that it is becoming more and more upsetting to me. If the internet existed in the run up to and during WWII I wonder what we would have seen then.

I hope that those people only represent a very tiny fraction of our society.

I'll give the blogs you mentioned a try.

Thanks,
