Howie's show needs to be renamed "Unreliable Sources". This is not the first time he has attacked FNC without the facts in front of him.

PS: This is a repost, since I forgot to put in my email on the last one.

If you want to see how nonexistent the excitement, the gravitas, and the glowing puff pieces would have been had Keith Olbermann been a conservative, you have only to look at the treatment of Glenn Beck.

Remember Keith Olbermann raised MSNBC's ratings and that WAS delightful, delicious, and de-lovely to the MSM.

That fact alone was used to justify their interest, their accolades, and their nonjudgmental "just giving the facts" reports that Olbermann was fiercely anti-Bush Administration.

In Beck you have basically the same scenario. He has caused a phenomenal growth in FNC ratings, at a time when other outlets have struggled to retain the numbers they acquired during the presidential campaign.

Beck is funny, over-the-top, anti-Obama Administration...in the same ways that Keith was.

Yet Glenn Beck is someone who at every opportunity, the MSM will attempt to marginalize, trivialize, and point out as being the worst of cable news and the "new" news genre in general.

Hope Beck has a wet suit. He's going to need it more and more.

NEWS HOUNDS PLAGIARIST USES CHILD CUSTORY ISSUE TO BASH FOX NEWS!!!

Fox&Friends Use Child Custody Issue To Bash Islam?
Reported by Priscilla - August 31, 2009 - 2 comments

The interesting sentence in tis post is as follows.......

"As if a child welfare case should be decided on what a right wing “opinion show” audience thinks".

Shouldn't that read someting like this.........

"As if news presentation should be decided on what a far left wing loon blog site audience thinks."

First, Priscilla the Plagiarist, says it's Ok then she says it's not really ok because it doesn't meet her definition of "fair and balanced".

14TR,

Still waiting:

I'm surprised you don't remember my being "around for the Red Eye discussion." I supported your position. I criticized Gutfeld for his, IMO, inappropriate joke re: the Canadian military. I praised the Canadian military's efforts in Afghanistan.

If I'm not mistaken, it was your maiden foray into J$P. I encouraged you to stick around, lighten up a bit, get to know the landscape a little before criticizing the format. I offered explanations on how to keep the different threads straight, how to comment on the pertinent topic and how to get along with the folks here.

So he would be an anarchist.

All these 'ists are confusing, but that seems about right.

1. supporter of anarchism: somebody who believes that governments should be abolished as unnecessary
2. lawless person: somebody who tries to overthrow a government or behaves in a lawless way

Roadie, I know you like to dot every I and cross every T so before I comment on this I want to reprase it so that we are on the same page.

By not using any qualifier words such as "might", "may", "probably", "could" etc I take your first sentence to mean that you have catalogued him definitively as an anarchist.

Your first definition, "anacharst", will get no argument from me especially when taken in conjunction with your second definition that fleshes out what I consider a necessary condition of anachary, which is lawless violence to remove the government.

So, is that your contention? Glenn Beck is an anarchist and a man who aims to overthrow the government of the United States through lawless means to achieve his ideal of a society with no governments?

Not stereotypes, really, just what was heretofore a sensible limit on his expectations.

For example he probably never expected that you'd read the word libertarian and go off to the races on anarchism.

Re: "Friday's numbers": Keith now has a club to beat BOR over the head with. At 8PM, FNC's Kennedy memorial coverage came in third in total viewers and 25-54. MSNBC, with coverage anchored by Daddy Olbermann, came in second. FNC also came in third in 25-54 at 9PM while MSNBC again came in second. Even though there was no "Factor" and no "Hannity," Keith will declare victory. You watch.

Interseting thing about those cable numbers though.....Beck still had the best ratings comapred to even the Kennedy coverage in the demo and in total viewers.

Demo: Beck 684,000 Best Kennedy (CNN) 510,000

Total: Beck 2.896 million Best Kennedy (CNN) 2.167 million

Pretty amazing. Perhaps Fox should have stuck with their normal primetime programming Friday night.

I personally did not watch one minute of any of the live coverage.

If KO declares victory & nobody is watching, does it mean anything to anyone? No, because the regular schedule is back tonight & the Friday night snapshot is yesterday's news. Funeral's always seem to help MSNBC, because they do depression & dispair better than any other cable news outlet.

Grammie, quite frankly it is simply the definition found in the dictionary. Completely unaltered by me. So if the shoe fits, you can choose either or both, I'll let you decide. Or if you like you can combine the two as you seemed to have done. We have already established that I don't watch Mr. Beck, only slightly insane clips of the man.

If you had followed my advice, it would have worked out just fine. As is, the result of ignoring (and continuing to ignore) my advice is evident to all.

Now here's an interesting little tidbit that explains a lot. You wrote, "If you supported......thank you."

Since I told you I did, even if you don't remember, what possible reason would you add the qualifier "If" to your thanks? I would venture that if I or anyone else here who is not a known prevaricator said something along the lines of supporting another's position, the response would be a simple, "Thanks."

Wasn't a joke. Wasn't trying to pull anyone's leg. Recognizing forthrightness is not your forte, eh?

Your answer is all well and good if I wasn't interested in an honest answer to an honest question.

Just such an answer was what I was attempting to forestall b/c you have a trait in common with Haggis of juxtaposing several ideas and then denying that you implied any connection.

I'll try again:

Based on the entirety of your earlier comment in which you stated "So he would be an anarchist." in referring to Beck.

You followed that with two with a dictionary definition of "anarchist" and then of "lawless person" which seems to exemplify what you consider to be a crucial component of anarchy.

You wrote a short concise 4 paragraph comment with a statement declaring Glen Beck is an "anarchist" followed by copied dictionary entries.

What did you mean?

I don't see a lot of room to play in and I have to agree that only an unreasonable person would form such serious conclusion and disseminate it having never seen anything of substance of the man. It would go beyond unreasonable into the realm of malicious rumors.

For someone who has twice used the term "confusion", declared the "lines blurring" after YOU threw in Lou Dobbs, accused Ramjet of trying to put one over on you because you can't read Ramjet with a hyphen after it, and pled Canadian after Grammie took literally your own inane post...I don't think your glasses are going to help.

Some sort of brain surgery to remove the over utilized part of your that controls coyness, would be your best shot.
