Fox Nation – Where “Townhall” Is Now A Verb!
Reported by Priscilla - August 6, 2009 -
Priscilla posts another of her/his/it's screeds about how bad Fox is.

O'Reilly had a good segmen last night detailing how the press pretty much ignores leftist protests but can't get enough of right wing protests.

And who said the media wasn't biased?
Stuff like this makes it easy to show the bias that is out there.

Fox News Conservatives Gripe Over North Korea’s Release Of Journalists
Reported by Ellen - Wed 12:41 AM

On the same day that CNN was discussing the release of the 2 journalists in North Korea the Idiot Ellen decides that only Fox News "griped" over the issue. Actually no one "griped" over the issue.

Both networks had discussions about what the US might have given North Korea in return. But,according to the Idiot Ellen, only Fox News "griped" about the issue.

She lied. Again.

Looks like Jules is deep into her prevaricating commentary yet again today.

No small wonder Ellen hand picked another deceitful dolt to 'Join the staff'.

Ignoring violence breaking out at Democratic Town Halls, Greta Van Susteren Ratchets Up The Hostilities
Reported by Ellen - August 7, 2009 - 28 comments

If she actually did some research she would find that union goons were escorted in the side doors at a St, Louis town hall meeting to intimidate anyone who they thought was causing a problem.

She would also know that the moderator at another Town Hall meeting full of AARP members decided that she would not answer any questions and packed up and left before anyone could asked a question.

Again she distorts by ommission.

Since free speech is not allowed at the Newshounds website, could any of the.....how does one say it? 'Rational Side' over there post any video proof of a FNC host being this 'RUDE' to a guest for such a long time?

BTW: Since Peter Schiff is running against Chris Dodd in 2010, don't be surprised if you see snipets of this video in Dodd's re-election advertisments. Crazy Larry, the Igor of the DNC & MSNBC.

I'm sorry to have to report this but...Fox and Friends hit a new all time low this morning.
The Friends so called "town hall" was well promoted on today's show. So I thought worth a look.....I was horrified at what passed as a "town hall" on F&F
The 3 guest were all anti healthcare...no balance what so ever. Then to make matters worse....Doocy was the moderator  .....He simply stoked the fires of fear...you guessed it....with Republican talking points.

The "Bill on Barack" link is another review of O'Reilly's upcoming column in Sunday's Parade magazine. Yesterday, J$ linked to Jonathan Martin's review at Politico. While Martin called BOR a "conservative," Steve "In Fox's Pocket" Krakauer was a bit fairer: "For those who are absolutely floored, you probably don’t watch enough of The O’Reilly Factor. The top-rated cable news host undeniably leans right, but by no means can be grouped with conservative Sean Hannity or pseudo-conservative Glenn Beck."
He "undeniably leans right," but only a bit; just the way I like it.

As you have frequently mis-charactorized events, quotes, and events on this show, I must remain skeptical of your recent analysis of F&F.

How can we forget last December when you claimed Gretchen wished someone on the show "Happy Holidays" and presented that as being on the other side of the War on Christmas. J$ provided video evidence which showed she said "Merry Christmas". You then claimed that she said it elsewhere in the show. In a feeble attempt to support your statements, you created the fictictious poster "Stan" and had Stan claim "Haggis is right, I'll go look for the video" (my paraphrasing, but it was Stan agreeing with Haggis.)

Perhaps with your blind hatred for F&F, you should offer your consulting services to CNN or MSNBC and help them come up with a show that could be more successful than F&F.

Video proof! That means link with video! Got it?

And not some 5 sec. clip.

I do believe the MSNBC clip ran around 8 MIN.? That's called a segment!

That's what I want! Got It? A video clip/segment that shows a FNC host being this Rude to a guest. (for about 8 min.)

I said somebody was rude, and I provided a link DIRECTLY to the video.

I did not come on here and say, "That's easy just look up any Ed Show video."

Sorry, but i don't visit that website for a number of reasons. But assuming what you say is accurate, it's still nothing definitive, afterall there could have been a segment before or after with guests who are on the opposite side of the spectrum. That's one of the the "tricks" of the Fox haters use to portray FNC as anything but fair and balanced. J$ has provided specific evidence of that time and time again.

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest Haggie didn't see today's F&F at all. He only saw what media matters chose to show him. Otherwise instead of embarrassing himself by claiming no opposing points of view and no Democrats, he would have known that after the 'one-sided' segment he complained about, they brought on Lanny Davis to speak on behalf of the other side of the issue.

But then, Democrats don't appear on F&F. Except for the ones that do.

Let's see I'm not part of the birther movement at about 34 sec. of the......MEDIA MATTERS??????? Whoa, fair & Balanced there eh bud?

Funny how you serve that one up first...Media Matters.

Now let's get on to O'Reilly/Frank.

Let's see in the begining O'Reilly calls out both sides, at 45 sec. Frank says (through clip) Fannie/Freddie are sound. But at 50 sec. says they are not the best investments, but they are in good shape going forward (HUH?).

At 1:10 Bill says Frank is a stand-up guy for coming in.

From 1:15 to 2:25 Bill lets Frank have his say. Doesn't sound rude at this point.
Then Bill tries to ask a question about people losing their shirts after the stock dropped 90% and Frank evades the question.
I don't know about you, but if somebody in government told me something was sound and after I brought stock it dropped 90%. Well, I would be upset.

But that's me.

Now after that, BS, CRAP,coward, boorish, you're stupidity, you're too dumb to understand.
Most of that didn't come from the FNC host.
Schiff was never rude to Larry.

Did you watch the MSNBC clip/segment?

Again, LISTEN! As Barney would say. Show me a clip where an FNC host is as 'RUDE' to the guest as 'Angry Larry' was.
And J$ if you could find a clip in the archives J$P where David Shuster went on the attack after Heidi Harris (Las Vegas talk show host) to attack O'Reilly and post it.
Well, it looks like I'll be up by three.
And at this point it doesn't look like it's a little game because I've run two fastballs by you. And I just launched you're curve out of the park.

Those ratings are fantastic. It wasn't that long ago when BOR had less than 2x the viewers as Mr. Cankleslovakia. For some time now, it's been 3x the viewers. Now, it's approaching 4x.

BOR's demo # for the first run show is only 12% off of KOs total viewers.

There is a poster here who used to frequently lecture us as to how KOs demo was somehow more valuable than BORs demo. For some odd reason, that poster doesn't mention it anymore.

Here is what Malloy said.

"Glenn Beck appears closer to suicide - I'm hoping that he does it on camera; suicide is rampant in his family, and given his alcoholism and his tendencies towards self-destruction, I am only hoping that when Glen Beck does put a gun to his head and pulls the trigger, that it will be on television, because somebody will capture it on YouTube and it will be the most popular video for months."

Malloy says he's hoping for Beck to commit suicide.

Talking of Beck...Didn't he let slip that he wanted to poison Nancy Pelosi?
Haggis | 08.07.09 - 5:49 pm | #

Let's see, from Politico

"Beck did a sketch Thursday in which he pretended to be at the event, drinking wine with the speaker.

As a staffer wearing a Pelosi mask lifted a glass to her lips, Beck said:

"I really just really wanted to thank you having me over here to Wine Country, you know. To be invited, I thought I had to be a major Democratic donor, or a longtime friend of yours, which I'm not. By the way, I put poison in your — no ..."

At that point, Beck cut himself off and told the Pelosi doppelganger: "I look forward to all the policy discussions we're supposed to have — you know, on health care, energy reform and the economy. "

Beck was doing a sketch. So, to answer Haggis' question...NOBeck never said he wanted to poison Nancy Pelosi.

You're like a restaurant dishwasher who tries to pee in the soup tureen because the world obviously consists of something other than your life and your opinions.

Are you saying you did watch it, and purposely made the false claim about no Democrats and no opposing viewpoints? I was giving you the benefit of the doubt, but if you want to admit to lying, the stage is yours.

What I'd like to know is how come so few of these folks who are so horrified by Richard Wolffe guest hosting Countdown, had no such qualms over Dan Abrams having essentially the same job as Wolffe?

For THAT it took the Cable Gamer sounding an alarm, which to this day, has gone little heeded by the folks pulling their hair out now.

How can it be that Wolffe is so foremost on their minds, but the possibility that the WHOLE of MSNBC has becoming a lobbying agent of GE towards the administration is generally something buried two paragraphs down in these pieces, swiftly stated, but rarely elaborated upon?

Another interesting aspect of this, is that slowly but surely the fact that Olbermann does to seem to have complied with G.E.'s edict, after June 1st, is being obscured by his face-saving bluster now.

I agree with Mike C. too, in that yet another false meme is that O'Reilly pounced upon Olbermann in the same way that Olbermann treated him.

Aside for the ridiculous and wrong-headed petition thing that O'Reilly did a couple of years ago, O'Reilly has "punched up" (a term Olbermann used to somehow elevate his juvenile insults and mockery of O'Reilly) in a direction that is entirely more considered and more relevant to the industry and to the public in general.

And it's been remarked upon in the past that you've managed to have seen Gretchen, Steve, and Brian, at hours prior to 2pm eastern time...

How come Fox News Sunday gets spanked every week by the other networks....They're constantly in last place. Those rating speak volumes....Obviously the discerning viewers come out on Sunday and they don't like what they see over at Fox.

Well being you aren't from the United States of America Haggis, I'll educate for the second time today which I'm sure for the second time today you won;t respond to because you can't. Fox News Sunday is on UHF Channel's if you don't have cable, meaning it's above the 13 channel's that were initally issued by the government for VHF back in the day. FYI back in the day tv's only had a dial that- yes you had to get off your butt and turn the channel- that went to 13. So if you don't have cable or a UHF antenna and now digital box you don't get the station's FNS is on. I think you should worry more about your country that is going down faster then Obama then MY country. You would have been born speaking German if not for MY COUNTRY.

I'd use manual tuning to get over that little problem.
Just a pity your country turned late....yet again.

Well haggis, we were scheduled to turn some time ago but President Obama ordered a delay.
Apparently the delay concerns you so you ought to direct any complaints to the Whitehouse.

Incase you've forgotten.....This site is about cable news.....I'm talking about cable news....It's not my fault there is so much bias to wade through when covering FNC...F&F is a days worth of material in its self.
Haggis

Okay, then why did you waste you're time talking about O'Reilly, Cavuto, Beck, Fox News Sunday (a non-cable show)?

It's like talking about The Atlanta Braves of the National League and then asking. Hey Haggis, why is Hereford United in the loon of the League 1 standings?

Now, On June 11 2009 Richard Wolffe had a book party.

Olbermann trusted sidekick David Robin Shuster was there.

And Olbermann would have you believe that he didn't know Wolffe worked for Public Strategies Inc. until last week?

Gambling in Rick's? I tell you I'm shocked, SHOCKED!

Haggis, why do you care about what health care plan we have here anyways? We could care less about the British system, unless it taxed us.
