Looks like some of the poodles are barking loudly because Greta dared to attempt to get a rational answer out of Shelia ( "do you know who I am" ) Jackson Lee.

I had to edit the comment below because of the language Big Momma allows at the House of hens. It's strange that she attacks Fox Nation for language and then permits this type of language. Hypocrisy anyone?

F*** every spineless Democrat in office. They got the pres, they got majorities, they still can't find a f****** spine. I hold them in slightly less contempt than Republicu*** link Van Susteren and Palin. Just a little less contempt.

BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NEWS HOUNDS SMEARS/ATTACKS/DEMONIZES
DEMOCRATS!!!!!!!!!

Fox News’ Democratic Wanker Of The Week: Doug Schoen
Reported by Ellen - August 15, 2009 - 5 comments

I mentioned this recently and lo and behold here it is!!!

The Hounds don't care about anything other than posting a story to find a way to attack Fox.

They even took an article written by O'Reilly for Parade Magazine and twisted it into a story about Fox and O'Reilly.

They don't care.

Got to love this line over at 'Chickaboomer' in reference to Mandow showing up on Meet The Press Sunday.

"Which Rachel will show up? The Barbie Rachel or the late night Jay Leno Ken doll in Obama's favorite pants and high tops?"

I'm sure DG will be throwing hard hitting questions at the Elvis Costello impersonator.

Looking at RM's ratings, this is more of a propping up of a train wreck in progress. Air America didn't work on radio. And it ain't gona work on Cable & Broadcast TV.

I never saw it before, but Ilove that ronpaulwarroom site! There's a great video I found there about the joker posters. I have one I printed out at work that says NEW WORLD ORDER under it pinned to the corkboard over my desk. People I work with think it's hilarious.

Re: Truce Update

Good voice montage from the Lou Dobbs radio show of various MSNBC personalities calling dissenters kooks, racists, and extremists.

I hark back to the debate that used to take place on Olbermann Watch where the several-brain-cells-less-than-a-full- deck-- MikeH., along with Clucker (OTM-- here) would pull their hair out if the WH even formerly responded to criticism by protesters.

In those days, those guys (and lefties in general) would wax lyrical about dissent of government being the highest form of patriotism, etc...etc... ANY criticism of protesters was tantamount to stifling their speech at best, ginning up a climate for deporting them all to Gitmo, at worst.

In their opinions to imply that its not helpful to the country to declare defeat in a war while its still being fought, is an insult so heinous and debilitating that dehumanizing Nazi propaganda techniques paled in comparison.

However, it okey dokey for an administration, its allies, and its toadies in the media, to call dissenters racists and back-woods lynch mobs.

At least now it is...

Grammy, Cee, and I used to tell them that if the shoe were on the other foot they'd be characterizing all of us as Tim McVeighs and KKK members.

Well, guess what...we were on the money.

As usual.

Well, I finally learned what this new talk of Ellen's prominently featured visage is about.

I even read yet another 5000 word, thinking-out-loud, hot mess of a piece by Julie of News Hounds.

I'll paraphrase it for those who haven't read it and/or who won't, because reading such egocentric meandering in a column is a little like being forced to smell a stranger's flatus in an elevator--more exposure to their internal workings than is appropriate or civilized ...

Paraphrase:

Julie thinks Johnny has been rude in rebuffing her past overtures for his attention.

Julie thinks the Fair Use Doctrine would not apply to Ellen's allegedly copywrited photo that Johnny features on his blog.

Julie hopes to get even by posting a picture of a baby-faced Johnny from the late sixties or early seventies.

Julie brilliantly surmises that a guy (not running for office), who has put bad people in prison, does not seek personal publicity because he's got something to hide.

That's it.

No, don't thank me.

That in that picture, Johnny is obviously a very young man, standing with not-so-young, accomplished concert orchestra musicians, impresses Julie not at all.

That despite that stellar right brain talent and a continued insider's notoriety in the field, Johnny later goes on to earn a law degree and more than thrive in a very left brain sort of profession, impresses Julie not at all.

After all, what's a successful prosperous renaissance man, if he's a Fox News fan...

Goodness, girlfriend, you most certainly aren't a spring chicken.

You should have acquired some discernment and a few sophisticated standards by now.

Goodness, Julie, you really ARE an utter simpleton.

Re: Joe

Here you have another instance of someone writing something they've never seen.

As in the case of equating Bill O'Reilly's punching up at G.E. corporate machinations, with Keith Olbermann mocking O'Reilly with a Ted Baxter voice and airing caricature pics of him, the author here is making a comparison based upon ignorance of the show/s he's writing about.

Morning Joe is hardly a three hour conservative fest. Generally, aside for Joe and Pat Buchanan (both of whom excoriated the Bush Administration), the show is heavily weighted towards liberals.

I don't mind. It's good show, with smart people, and interesting exchanges.

There seems to a preconception out there that to have any conservative within two miles of a television news show, is the equivalent of offering up the Rush Limbaugh show.

I don't know what sort of sound proof and ideological pure and pristine world that these folks could fashion for themselves, but their concern at having any intrusion upon that fantasy, is mind-boggling.

Hello all....been away the last few days golfing.....These 3 weeks summer holidays are tremendous....sadly the weather isn't playing ball.

Jon Stewart has to be highly congratulated....He did a masterful job at showing how hypocritical Beck is over American healthcare....One minute He's (Beck) against it.....The next minute he's for it. And lets not forget how Jon showed Hannity/O'reilly up as the hypocrites they are....over their outrage at the wrong sort of protesters.
Jon keep up the good work....There's an endless amount of hilarity to be had in the trough know as Fox news.

Claudo the Clown is, shall we say, a bit upset that I left a portion of his post out of my post this morning.

I did that purposely to be an example of how some News Hound writers go about their business. Also, I knew it would draw some attention from little johnt who appears to be the resident front man for the House of Hens.

"The douchebag didn't include my whole quote which pointed out the hypocrisy of Mark Koldys whose name is emblazoned on Mark/Blackflon's knee pads. This guy is dumb as #### and talk about being obsessed. But "Johnny" loves him, yes he does!!!"

Maddow on MTP:

This morning (Sunday, August 16th, 2009), in an attempt to smear Dick Armey and his Freedom Works organization using guilt by association, Rachel Maddow, a NBC News employee lied twice, let me repeat, lied twice, when she said, "If you go to Tea Party Patriots right now, what they've got on their front page... of their web site, the top item, is a video showing the violence at the town hall in Ybor City, in Tampa, Florida, essentially promoting that, as if that was a good thing that happened, that showed what the Health Care Freedom Coalition wants to have done in the health care debate. Freedom Works is part of that coalition. You (Dick Armey) can say that you denounce it, but the organization that you head is part of it."

Lie #1: The video at the top of Tea Party Patriots web site is actually a live Channel 13 FOX News report of the August 6th town hall meeting in Tampa. It is a lie that it "is a video showing the violence at the town hall in Ybor City, in Tampa, Florida." The video contained absolutely no violence. The only violence that occurred at that meeting was when union members rushed into the crowd in the lobby in order to close the doors into the meeting room.

Lie #2: Building on lie #1, Ms. Maddow continues with her second lie, "...essentially promoting that, as if that was a good thing that happened, that showed what the Health Care Freedom Coalition wants to have done in the health care debate." Even if the video had shown the violence that occurred at the Tampa town hall, there is absolutely nothing at the Tea Party Patriots web site that would indicate in any way that they were "essentially promoting that, as if that was a good thing that happened, that showed what the Health Care Freedom Coalition wants to have done in the health care debate."

I believe strongly that a correction and apology to his audience is required by Mr. Gregory on next week's Meet the Press program. In addition, I believe strongly that Ms. Maddow be required to issue a correction to her lies, issue a personal apology to Dick Armey, an apology to the audience and an on-air public apology, along with a written apology to the Tea Party Patriots organization.

Haggis,

The "home of golf" is St. Andrews Links, the governing body is The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews and The Rules of Golf are written by The R & A and the USGA. No where in any of those three entities is the term "golfing" used. Golf is a game, not an activity. No one says, let's go tennising, or footballing, or ping-ponging, or strip-pokering. Real golfers say, "let's go play golf", or "I was playing golf" or "Did you see the golf tournament?"
