Olbermann has based entire 10 minute COUNTDOWN segments on stories based on only one anonymous source.
He is a poor excuse for a political pundit, nevermind his self-described role as a journalist.

Speaking of those hounds, they were the verbatim source for Keith's Worser O'Reilly Attack (re: Sylvia's reference on Thursday night). He proved once again why we call him Rip 'n Read. And kudos to Bill for conducting business as usual last night. I have no doubt that will continue tonight.

For all of their effort against FNC over the past few years, all it has gotten the hounds is the opportunity to see FNC's ratings SKYROCKET and MSNBC and CNNs ratings PLUMMET.
They are real achievers.

Actually, he's gotten crazier and more idiotic, Ashley.
Came in on him ostensibly impersonating Lou Dobbs, culminating in his giving Dobbs a loud messy raspberry.
I swear he has all the emotional stability of an eight year, but with very very adult malice.
My husband emphatically said, "He's sick. Turn", and I did.

Apparently I'm the only one who reacted in this fashion, but I found his attack on Dobbs (ICN has the video) to be unusually personal and vicious, dragging in his wife and children, talking about some incident of alleged violence, etc. Dobbs called out Olbermann for not telling the truth, and Olby replied by ignoring the substance and just personally insulting Dobbs. I'm in no way a Dobbs fan, but this savaging had the same sort of disturbed viciousness that the O'Reilly attacks feature. I guess nobody cares that it's all ad hominem personal attacks of sub-playground-level intelligence, because that's expected now from Edward R Olbermann.
