Just a side note/question:
Doesn't MediaMatters encourage advertisers to boycott FNC, and happily suggest that "outraged" Liberals avoid buying products that are advertised on the station?
If that's true (and there are many other sites that encourage just that: http://foxnewssucks.blogspot.com/2009/04/boycott-fox-news-advertisers.html), then how does MediaMatters justify BUYING AIR TIME ON FNC?!
Whoops!

I can't read any of those "truce" stories. The consensus is "there's a feud and no one can deny it." Not quite and no, thanks. I'm sick of listing everything that Bill didn't do that Keith did. These writers don't care.

Ellen. Oh, Ellen. Who is the racist now?
House Negro Juan should pray that no one on the Fox Noise Plantation actually watches C-Span. His critique of Massa Bentpecker won't go over well. Juan may lose his weekend gig as a live lawn jockey at Bildo's mansion.

Can you say hypocrisy?
This would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.

Noce catch. I saw one of their commercials a few days ago and laughed out loud.

I hope Olby's "surprise" gets clobbered in the ratings, as usual.

The article written by Lloyd Grove, on the Daily Beast, about the Olbermann/Oreilly Fued was well written. It contained humor, information and some interesting background facts.
There was no vile name calling or vicious personal attacks.
Now, let's compare that to News Hounds.
Oh, never mind. You know what I mean.

Bill Hemmer Promotes Debunked (By Fox News!) Misinformation On Health Care Reform
Reported by Priscilla - August 3, 2009 - 3 comments
Hemmer was "promoting" nothing. He gave 2 people with opposing views an opportunity to give their side of the issue.
She lied. Again.

Although I agree that both Olbermann and O'Reilly have huge egos, today's kos posting by "Cankles" Keith O really takes the cake.....
"As then-candidate Obama (not to make any undue self-comparisons) once added, with a laugh, after answering a complicated and doubting question from the New York Times editorial board: consider the possibility that I might know what I'm doing here."
###
Sure. A display of confidence is one thing, but using an Obama anecdote in calming your worried "DID KEITH SELL OUT TO THE EVIL CORPORATOCRACY?" fans over at the fringe site is something else.
Ugh.....I may soon be missing Dr. Dean's "hostage-vid" stare and Wolffe's monotonous tone.

Keith "Tokyo Rose" Olbermann is as insignificant as they come. Oreilly has been handling it right and continue to ignore Olby.

For those of you here that don't have your own blogs, consider yourselves lucky. You don't have to worry about you-know-who leaving hateful comments and cable news personality death wishes.

Is that little devil still bothering you? Is there not a way you can cut him off?
I am able to monitor my blog before the post goes public. Much like here.
Of course if you wish I could have my Uncle Carmine has a little chat with him. If you know what I mean.

People at OlbyWatch are saying that Keith went back to the O'Reilly, Fox, and News Corp attacks tonight. The voices came back, the mocking came back, and everything else came back. Swell. :-:

"News Jujitsu"?! More like news pulling-the-wool-over-our-eyes-by-making-us-think-he-was-through-attacking-all-at-News-Corp. I feel sorry for the Wolffe Man.
I don't know what else to say. I was floored when I found out Keith went back to attacking the good guys.

Re: Olby blames Fox
"If you watch tonight and catch the references to Fox and its rogues gallery you will know that the most recent tack has worked, but the fight is endless and there will be reversals in the future, I'm sure. "
Oh, goodness! Keith Olbermann believes his fans are as dumb as a shoe!
And he's right!
Perhaps someone should "quarantine" the whole "reality based communtiy"! Not that they aren't "removed" enough already, but if they can read this wretchedly disingenuous and condescending crap from Olbermann, then these chumps really are scary.
This guy quit a tv show rather than talk about his beloved Bill Clinton (since tossed aside for Barack Obama) and Lewinskygate (which was the biggest NEWS story of the time) but the machinations of G.E. to protect itself from O'Reilly informing viewers about its monetary interest in the success of the current WH, is just a routine little skirmish with the head honchos... It's something akin to their making him do "Keeping Tabs" segments on Paris Hilton...
Oh, keep fighting that good fight for your audience, Keith! LORD KNOWS-- they deserve you!

Well, of course he did, Mike. He didn't have any other choice.
Does anyone believe that even G.E. isn't aware that he has to cover his womanly behind, at least until the heat dies down? They aren't going to dashing off any memos or calling him into anyone's office at this point.
The REALITY is in his condescending and intellectually insulting Kos diary that he dashed off to those fools.
He was aware that G.E. was working to fend off O'Reilly's criticism. He had been involved in talks. He had stopped criticizing O'Reilly, even coming up with the harebrained explanation that O'Reilly and FNC are dangerous, therefore you DON'T criticize them.
He's a fraud.

Whoa
That ended way quicker than it started. His commitment to the quarantine vanished into thin air with the return of his mocking, starting with the "Best Persons" part with Beck at #1, accompanied by "Somebody's Watching Me", and completed the point of no return with his "World's Worst". He did state one fact: he MAKES UP THE RULES. I'm just sayin.
In the middle of that he called his hour a "news program." Uh-huh... yea, TFR w/ Shep is THE real news program and says one story within a short time and move on to the next one.
Uber-moron is the worst cretin in existing history.

So, regarding Glenn Beck, did anyone catch Olbermann's lie tonite? A genuine no-prize for the first person who can point it out.

G.E. started its Ecomagination thing in '04, it was on the boards in '03.
It would be really interesting to learn if that is about the time that Olbermann went into no-denial DNC championing at that time. As well as seeing if that was about the time that MSNBC made its overt move to the left.
