Joe jabs Beck
He has a point. The guests actually disagreed with Beck's "evil", "dangerous" descriptions of Obama advisors. I didn't watch the whole show; it was just too contrived and tedious.

"Joe jabs Beck"
Johnny you have to admit it was a wee bit more than a jab....Joe pretty much called beck an idiot.
Scarborough describes Beck's rhetoric as "stupid" and "ill advised"....later adding: "Shut the hell up"
Even his hand picked guests...on last nights show....were speechless at his nutty links. A clip everyone needs to see....Priceless

Wow, I'm so used to seeing such fantastic numbers for FNC that I didn't catch that BOR scored over one million in "the demo".
FANTASTIC!!!!
BOR's demo number is larger than MSNBC/CNN/HLN combined!
There is a certain poster here who used to rave about Keith Olbermann's demo. They would rave about it constantly, but I can't help but notice that they have apparently dropped the subject and no longer discuss it, I seem to have trouble recalling the name of the poster, but I remember them to be a poster who frequently posted under other names in order to agree with themself, always demanded answers yet did not show courtesy and give answers, and would frequently omit facts in order to manipulate a story.

Memo to John Klein, (worst cable news head in the world) radio talkers bring their audience to cable news shows. something FoxNews learned a long time ago. Now that Klein has fixed CNN, perhaps Obama can call on him to fix his heath care fiasco by banning doctors from practicing medicine.

One man's crusade is another's wacko conspiracy theory.
I heard Scarborough make the big leap of saying people are going to choose between Obama and Beck...that conclusion is illogical. Some may want such a situation, but that is not reality.
That would be like saying people chose between Bush and Olbermann.
The left's crazy conspiracy theorists like Olbermann, Malloy, Rhodes, Maher and even good ol' Al Franken, who expressed worries about vast right wing cabals extending from Iraq to Iowa when he was on AIR AMERICA, had as much impact on the nonlistening/nonwatching center as Beck will.
This debate is not about Beck's apocolyptic drama or Limbaugh's theories on Nazism.
This debate is now whether there will be a public option, despite what the left wants which is distraction and demogoguery....that WAS once an Obama line in the sand that I now think will go bye-bye.
Thank goodness.

Like clockwork, Little Miss Priscilla uses an artilce written by Bill O'Reilly in Parade Magazine to smear him. Of course she said she liked the article but decided to attack O'Reilly on other matters anyway. Must have been a slow smear and attack day at the Henious House of Hens.
She decided she would take on Bill's family and just had to remark that Bills father father was an oil company executive whose annual income was $35k.
Her is a little teachable moment for Miss Priscilla. Bill's father did not make $35,000 a year every year. He had to work his way up to that figure.
She then decides that since Bill went to a private school he wasn't really "poor". Well, Miss Priscilla I can tell you that many people during that time had families who scrimped and saved to send their children to private school and they were by no means rich. I was one of them.
Even today people are scrimping and saving to send their children to private schools due to our terrible public school system.
As is usual with teh News Hounds, many facts are left out of their smear jobs. Should we expect anything else?
Nope.

Pitting Americans against Americans in a electronic fishing expedition is not constructive or healthy for our nation, at best....at worst it will be used as a source for political hackery because the e-mails and possible even names are not going to be deleted as per government regulation, as Burton FINALLY admits.
Scoffing at privacy concerns of the people Obama works for is cynical and typical arrogance for this White House. Thank goodness FNC is there to record the truth.

Looking over this 'MM site' does have me think, Are these people for free speech? I don't think so because it's not just what you print on you're blog, but it is also what you let be said and stand in you're comment section.
http://mediamatters.org/research/200908120010
I found this in the comment section of this MM article posted by ucjb.
"This is an excellent start, but needs to be expanded upon by including all sponsors of all right-wing propaganda programming,"
"Yeah, cause free speech sucks."
So, I am now lead to understand that someone who posts clips from a known 'chop shop website'. Also supports the curtailing of free speech?
Well, it's good we all know where someone is coming from.
But I did find this funny, it seems according to this website, that GE of all companies advertises on the Glenn Beck radio & tv show.
Oh! I will be stopping at Red Lobster tonight before I go shopping at Wal-Mart.

Let's see, I posted my comment with clip at 1:54 pm
Haggis posted his comment at 2:18 pm
Time lapse 24 min.
My clip runs 39:47
Beck doesn't hit the blackboard until the 30:15 mark!
The part Haggis talks about doesn't come up until the 35:30 mark.
And Haggis figured this all out in less then 24 mins? How about he didn't watch the WHOLE SHOW!
Stop Hannitizing the facts?
Ladies & Gentlemen, I posted the whole show. Watch it, come to you're own conclusion.

If, what you say that "Johnny doesn't like disinformation on his site," is true (and I think it is), then there is NO DOUBT Johnny doesn't like your "and then he asks his hand picked guests if they agree with him...that people are a virus...." Why, you ask? Because it's not true. It's perfect Haggis misrepresentation, disinformation, falsehhod.
Regarding the MM clip, if I were the skeptical type, I might think the reason it was ended about a minute before the segment ended was because of the content in the remaining time. If I were the type who would attach ulterior motives and nefarious patterns of editing to MM, the Haggis supplied MM video would qualify for those attachments, if I were the type.

I posted the whole show, you can decide after watching it.
Ramjet you are further correct in why couldn't MM let the clip play out? It wouldn't have taken more than 3mins.?
Motive? Again, you decide.
If a person believes and follows the thought of a presentation of a edited clip from a website that promotes the curtailing of Free Speech without looking just a little further into the matter when the evidence has been presented (the whole show). Then I believe that person needs to take out a chalk-board and start their own personal check list.

Cablevision knows we Long Islanders, New Yorkers, Northern New Jerseyans, and Southwest Connecticutites (or whatever the last two are called) are beholden to all things Cablevision. We've got to have our News 12 [region], our News 12 Traffic & Weather, our public access channels, and other stuff you can't get with Verizon FiOS, or "phone company TV" as they snidely refer to it. And unfortunately, and this will delight those hounds, not many people have requested the channel be added. If anyone is, it's conservatives. And outside of the Town of Hempstead and some of the Town of Oyster Bay, it's a huge minority...or at least it feels that way to me right now.

The You Tube Video???????
I posted the show from a website that had nothing to do with You Tube.
Either one of you post what they said after MM cut the clip (since you claim to have the youtube video of the whole show) or I'm calling you and Grampa out as bold faced you know whats that did not watch the show!, since BOTH of you claim you watched it LIVE!
Funny, Haggis said he watched it live after Grampa came on.
Print it! Show It! What did they say? comon' Grampa let's hear it! What did Carter say after MM cut the clip. It's only 3 mins. and you said you have the youtube video and I'm sure you can make this great case by posting an extra 3 mins.!!!Or Is it that, your case will fall apart if that 3 mins. is left in or the whole show for that matter. It seems funny to me that you have to keep harping on a 1:47 sec clip but you can't quote anything from the rest of the show.
Don't believe an entire show folks, believe what MM & these two tell you to think after a edited (that was chopped at the 23 sec. mark) 1:47 sec clip.Folks, Beck had SOURCES for everything. You will see it when you watch the WHOLE show!
Again, watch the entire show posted above, I'm not asking you to agree or disagree with Beck. But it's not what these two and Media Matters are telling you to believe (GEE WIZZ). You Watch, You decide.
39mins??? or a 1:47 clip that stopped after Carter was about make a point. Why did MM do that?
I think that the informed, free thought, person this will choose the former.
I rest my case.
BTW: since Haggis LOVES to change the subject. Night after night after night... Olby doesn't HAND PICK his guests?

I've always liked Glenn Beck. In the past he seemed like a nice unpretentious man; sincere and thoughtful.
He's changed. He's not malevolent and egomaniacal like Olbermann, but he's every bit the hyperbolic bomb thrower.
The pity is, that Glenn Beck is perspective and more often than not, raises red flags that should be raised. Unfortunately, his loony bin emotionalism obscures that.

Look at Lou Dobbs.
He wants existing immigration law enforced and decries the fact that illegal immigration is supported by employers who wish to pay low, non-union wages (something liberals used to be concerned about) and he's accused of HATING Latin people.
You can get more unreasonable than this. Though Bush supported amnesty, his administration didn't characterize opponents of it as being xenophobic haters.
THAT is ginned up rhetoric by Democrats, simply because they wish to inflame legal Hispanic immigrants in order to build that constituency.

They don't talk about it in any detail because they'd have to characterize the majority of the population as being haters if they did.
If they can keep that characterization down to some nebulous conservative ethos without having to define the criteria, they can use anti-undocumented-worker sentiment as a political epithet.
